What a great property centrally located close to everything it could not have been more perfect for my needs very close to the train station and just seconds into the Old Town restaurants close by beautiful water views when I return to Faro I will most definitely try to stay here again I didn't want to leave I could have just moved in and stay ed it was so comfortable

Nice sunny unit with balconies. Near waterfront and dozens of great restaurants. Ivan, the host, was easily reached by phone or Whatsap. Very comfortable and well equipped. 5 🌟.

The property is a comfortable and well appointed apartment, but two things make it exceptional. The first is the location – just across the road from the bus station and train station with easy access to the whole of the Algarve; 10 minutes walk to all the best restaurants and bars in town; a very decent Spar supermarket just down the road; fifteen minutes walk to the ferry terminal to the Faro beach and the other islands of the Ria Formosa. The other factor is the wonderful outlook over the Ria Formosa, especially at sunset, a delight for bird watchers, plane spotters or anyone who loves spectacular sunsets. Faro itself is full of delights, artistic, historical and culinary. We had a wonderful time!

A beautiful apartment, perfectly situated in Faro. Not only was the apartment as described, it is spacious and fully equipped for your needs. The view is peaceful and though some have mentioned train station noise, we didn't hear it in the apartment. Most importantly, Ivan and his team went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, and was very prompt in communication. Top quality host. Absolutely wonderful stay in Faro. This is the place for you!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was clean and the layout was great. It was a perfect setup for my husband and 2 young kids. Ivan was really proactive and responsive - including pictures for the check-in process was really helpful. There was an express snack shop next door and we saw a lot of people hanging out there. It’s not in the downtown area, but still within walking distance (Faro isn’t very big). It’s across the street from the train station, down the street from the bus terminal, and has a bus stop right in front that will take you to the Faro Airport! We could literally see airplanes landing and taking off from our balcony, but it wasn’t noisy at night. The sliding glass doors had metal shades that blocked out light and noise at night, it was great. We spent a lot of time hanging out on the balconies and people watching. The only thing I will say is that, outside of the touristy spots, Faro looks largely looks in disrepair. If I could do it again, I would still chose this unit, but would probably have chosen another city to spend the bulk of our stay.

This was a great place to stay! Very clean and well equipped. Owner was very communicative. Very close to old Faro and train station is directly across street. I did not notice any train noise. Also a bar next door that you can get pastries or sandwiches. Would recommend.

The apartment was located in a wonderful location, close to the water and the center of town. It was very comfortable inside and the decks were excellent to go out and view a sunset or a sunrise. We had breakfast on the deck every morning and enjoyed watching the boats move about. Felisbela was very helpful and gave us some great suggestions and recommendations. We absolutely loved the whole experience at the apartment and in Faro!

This is a great property right by the train station - good but can be noisy if staying in the second bedroom area. Great view over the water and the balcony provides a nice area for relaxing and watching the sunset. Close to mini- marts and lots of great restaurants. Walk around the old part of Faro. Our trip was especially good with Precious Tours looking after us. Highly recommend.

Ivan was a wonderful host - friendly and readily available and went the extra mile to help us get to our next location. His apartment is in a convenient and safe location. It is clean, bright and has all necessary standard amenities - even extra toilet tissue and salt and pepper! It was a pleasure to stay in this apartment and meet our great host.

The property was everything as advertised centrally located, close to bus and train stations and downtown Faro. The apartment was well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Felisbela was very helpful, gave good suggestions for restaurants and areas for sightseeing. Highly recommend to stay in Faro.

The apartment was fairly spacious - there were 5 of us who stayed there. 3 family members shared the bigger room which had 3 single beds in it and my partner and I took the Master BR. All of us shared 1 bathroom which wasn’t an issue b/c we coordinated our showers times. The apartment was very clean and fairly well equipped to cook meals if we didn’t feel like eating out. We used Faro as our base and did day trips to other beautiful coastal towns. That worked out well for us as we had rented a van to travel in the Algarve area. The train station is located right across from the apartment building so if you don’t have a vehicle , you can easily take day trips via train to visit other coastal towns . We were happy with our accommodation and owner, Ivan was very responsive to our questions and gave clear instructions regarding check-in and check-out. Overall we were happy with our stay.

The apartment was just as shown in the listing, although we expected the street image to reflect the street where the apartment was located, but it's an image of another street downtown, although it's just a few minutes walk to it. We went in the winter, and the kitchen and bathroom are not heated, so the rooms were cold. The heating in the other rooms was fine after a couple of days. The neighbourhood is quiet, and the small balcony has a nice view on the Ria Formosa. The location is conveniently close to the train station, and with a rented car, it was easy to get on the N125 from there to go visit other towns and villages in the Algarve. The Supermercado was just a 15-minute walk from the apartment, and the small historical downtown is just a 10-minute walk. The apartment is large and had sufficient amenities in it to accommodate our 2-week stay. Thanks, Ivan.

Apartment was great, clean airy with a nice little balcony overlooking the sea. Near to both train and bus station for trips to nearby towns. Ivan was a terrific host, picking us up from the airport and showing is around the marina and where the ferry goes..

This is a spacious apartment with good wifi for remote working. Ivan is a responsive host. Enjoyed our stay.

I cannot say enough about this beautiful property and location and the views. Ivan is all about hospitality. It is perfectly situated to every public transport. The apartment is homey and welcoming. It has all of the amenities one needs. Ivan is such a gracious host. Fantastic suggestions and very patient and kind. Lots of phenomenal suggestions for our trip Faro. He made our trip the best.

Very nice apartment with lots of light. The big bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in in Europe! Ceiling fans were great because of the humidity. Location is a good starting point for a walk around town. Ivan is the coolest, we believe he should be the Mayor of Faro.

We had a nice time in Ivan's property. The location is great to get around Faro, everywhere is accessible by foot. Felisibella was very helpful picking us up at the airport and showing us around before taking us to the property and recommending a wonderful restaurant. The property was very clean and had everything we needed and is very close to the train station.

From the moment we were met by the very sweet and helpful Felisbela at the train station to the day we had to sadly leave early because of the global Coronavirus pandemic, everything was just perfect! The apartment is beautifully decorated, perfectly located (close to the train and bus station and the old city), and was impeccably clean (thanks Felisbela)! We loved being able to easily walk to everything we wanted to see, do, eat and drink! We especially loved watching the sunset over the Ria Formosa every day. Our friends and family back home must be tired of all the beautiful sunset photos I posted! I have no reservation whatsoever recommending this lovely apartment!

Ivan was a great host with lots of great advice on how to enjoy Faro. He was really quick to respond to any of our emails. The apartment is located close to everything which was very handy. We had a great view of the harbour and had some great sunsets. There was lots of room and comfy furniture for lounging. We had a great visit.

Ivan & his assistant Felisbela were the most friendliest, helpful & supportive hosts of all the hosts we had throughout our vacation in Portugal & Spain! The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed!

The property is exactly as pictured. It was very easy to communicate with Ivan and then later with Felisbela. Both were very nice and ready to make our stay enjoyable. The appartment is on the 4th floor which allows for the beautiful views pictured but there are elevators so bringing luggage in is no issue. There is a coffee shop on the ground level of the adjacent building which is convenient for quick breakfasts before heading out for the day. There are plenty of places to eat within a 10 min walk and the general area felt very safe. There is a train station across the street but we never were disrupted with noise. Over all we (my husband, our two children, and I) really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay there again if the opportunity arises. :)

Very much enjoyed our stay at this stylish and comfortable fourth floor apartment in the centre of Faro. Ivan and Felisabela made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended accommodation.

The apartment was clean and spacious and the location was very convenient to walk everywhere. Also having a washer was very useful. The plumbing in the bathroom was a bit of a challenge but we managed. Overall it was a great place to stay.

The apartment is a great location for the train station, (right across the road, but you don’t hear them) the bus station just around the corner, the pub area just after that. Lots of restaurants very close by. The boat tours just around the corner. We traveled from Olhao by train and it is very easy, you can also very easily get to Tavira and even into Spain by train. We were met at the train station which made us feel very welcome and given some useful info on the area. The shopping area of Faro is just a 10min walk away. There are small grocery shops within 10mins but the larger supermarket is a bit further to get to. The double bed is very comfortable with a lovely view. We found the kitchen a little small to cook in and we raised a few things with Ivan just about the cooking utensils and pans and he replied he would be looking at this, after all if guests don’t advise the owners they won’t know. It is on the fourth floor so you have a lovely view and there are lifts. You have a key to get into the actual block and there is a light switch on the left hand side. We felt very safe there and there was very little neighbour noise considering you are surrounded. If you look on the noticeboard someone has left the bus times for Faro beach, no. 16. Recommend going there as it’s lovely. There is a great traditional Portuguese restaurant around the corner going away from the town, Chefe Branco. Would also recommend the free walking tour (just a donation asked at the end) but great to get your bearings and to learn about Faro. We enjoyed our stay in Faro, thank you Ivan and Felisbela x

This location was a wonderful spot offering a great view of a glorious sunset Our vacations to Spain & Portugal came to a close as we departed from Faro. We originally booked this spot as an opportunity to be convenient to the airport, but we found it to provide us with much more. We had a bottle of wine on the quaint deck overlooking the water and then took two minute walk to Old Town the and waterfront to eat and enjoy the music in the public park/square near the water. It was a perfect ending to our trip and the owner and his property person were very thoughtful and made us feel cared for and comfortable. They even provided personal transportation to the airport! I would highly recommend this apartment
