This place is a well-run establishment. I give it 💯 (100) million stars ⭐️ The management person I met upon arrival was handsome and nice. The other guests were friendly. It was clean, quiet, mad convenient to EVERYTHING, and it was well stocked ( pots, pans, coffee maker, rice cooker, cleaning supplies, free washer & dryer, you name it. There’s even a little bodega right there next door to the building. My only regret was not booking a longer stay. It was already fully booked so I had to move on 😔☹️😢 I felt at home and didn’t want to leave. Hopefully, I can book for my family when the come out here to visit us. I will surely miss this cozy little place.

My wife and I enjoyed 5 weeks of wonderful accommodations at an excellent location in Waikiki - just a short walk to the beach, and an even shorter walk to the excellent TheBus service of Honolulu! The apartment was clean and well outfitted with all the necessary appliances & dishware. The only drawback was seating to relax - only a most uncomfortable rattan couch with scant cushion & 2x lumpy pillows! Fortunately, a large folding beach chair provided one of us a comfortable seat. 2x folding chairs were used as dining area in lieu of straight-back uncomfortable dining chairs.

Affordable unit 3 blocks from Waikiki beach

It was a pleasure to spend a month in this location. While the apartment is slightly dated , it is spacious and very clean. Any issues we had were immediately resolved by the management. I was so impressed with their willingness to cater to any of our needs. You can’t get a better location - 5 minute walk to Waikiki beach, 2 minute walk to the canal and lanai!! Each day I was able to watch the sunrise and set if I walked in either direction. Shops, markets, hotels all easily accessible. Having a little market/ store right below was so convenient for basics. Even the laundry business on the first floor ended up being a boon , as I was able to easily acquire towels and sheets while washing mine. Loved it so much have already booked a month for next year!! Mahalo Ali’i Beach Rental for making our stay so pleasant .

I wasn’t sure how much I’d like a long term stay in the city, but I fell in love with this location and simple condo. It was SO easy to walk to the beach and all the nearby spots along Waikiki. The mart downstairs was also clutch. Would absolutely stay here again, thank you!!

In general, a very nice condo. However, there is no BBQ, no dishwasher, or many kitchen supplies. Not even plastic wrap. There were 5 trash bags for 10 days--seems like they counted them out. They definitely need to work on some details.

I stayed Royal Moana 302 for 47 nights. property is large enough to stay with my mother and daughter. Location was great, took only five minutes to the beach, 2 minutes to the bus stop, I could find everything I need(foods, restaurants, breakfast place, nice cafe etc...) within 20 minutes on foot from Royal Moana. The property was well maintained but sometime had trouble with washing machine(was fixed very soon). Only problem for me was the property had no elevator. Since my daughter was 0 year old baby, I was hard to bring baby and stroller by the stairs.

Our stay
Very nice property, no issues with anything except the oven doesn't work well. We did not report this because we only used it once and I don't imagine a lot of people would use the oven. The property is exactly as shown and the staff are very friendly. I would highly recommend this place!!!!

I did call and left a message with the number listed on VRBO as that is the only information I was given to contact anyone. I also emailed. A house keeper let me in. When I finally got the access code email I did email her back letting her know that I tried to contact them, her response was I should have contacted her directly... again, I did not have that information! I did let them know the air conditioner is extremely loud and I had noticed that there were other past complaints about it - I was told that I will be getting a 150$ credit due to that.
The condo itself is perfect! Clean, close to the beach and shopping. Has every thing you need to cook and clean. If there was better communication I would recommend staying, but the lack of communication was a big deal for me.

No Wifi
This rental is exactly what it says, and it looks exactly as it does in the picture. Window ac unit, sucks, and there is no WiFi, they will say maintenance will come, but they will not. Laundry is outside under a roof. It is close to the beach, maybe five minute walk, but spend a little more and get a nicer place. It just felt really motel-like. I gave it a 4, because it is what it says in its advertisement. You get what you pay for, for sure. It’s cheap, location is ok, but no WiFi, they actually lie and say maintenance is coming, which I find gross, that you lie to everyone that stays, but again price was cheap. I wouldn’t stay here again, but if all you care about is cheap, this will fit.

For the amount of time we spent in the condo, it worked out great for us. Very convenient and close to Waikiki Beach which is where we spent a lot of our time.
The air conditioner is extremely loud though.
And we did not go out on the balcony because it was so small and there wasn't much of a view.
However, reserving the condo, getting into the condo, checking out of the condo - all of that was so easy and the people from Alii Beach Rentals that I dealt with were so nice and so helpful.

This spacious (for two people) condo provided a comfortable, conveniently located, and well equipped space for our 11 night stay. E kitchen was surprisingly well equipped for chi nnacking. It would be nice if basics such as salt, pepper, and oil were provided. The bed was comfortable, and the provided bath and beach towels were great. It was also nice to have a washer/dryer as well each chairs to use. I recommend this entail.

This was my first time staying in this type of property. And I was not disappointed. It was extremely roomy. I had a few people visit, and they were just in awe of the size of the place and the price. The walk to the beach was so quick. It came equipped with all you need. There was a very small convenient store right next door. The guest service was very quick and good communication, always got a response. Overall, I would choose this property and the rental company again. Only issues were the walls a bit thin, we can hear the people above us moving their chairs or opening their closet door and our wifi didn't work, but we were barely there, so I wasn't too concerned with that. There is also a small convenient store right next door.

The location is this apt. is very good. The apt. itself was good, but internet access was not very good. The parking situation was terrible. It cost $15 to park at this property and $30 to park at a local resort parking. I would recommend this apt if you do not plan to have a car. I noticed the parking placxes were nver fully occupied but these were not available to me.

I got three different tickets all for contradicting offenses in the dead end allley next to the vacant lot behind the building.
There’s was no posted “no parking” signs
The last night we arrived home to find a police officer waiting for a tow truck..
The officer canceled the tow so I drove in circles and finally found a nearby hotel parking garage posted at $30/night, next morning while checking out the parking garage expected me to pay $140 for the 14 total hours overnight that I had been there explaining the $30 posted fee was for guests only even tho that was not clearly advertised...
Conveniently the parking employee suggested I choose the “ lost ticket” option at only $55.... grrr...
Although the apartment itself was clean enough inside and cozy with a/c and a nice kitchen I prob won’t be back... it’s location is only three short blocks to a beautiful beach and plenty of action but it gets real trashy real fast as u start in on your third block home. We appreciated the locking coded entry gate but we weren’t crazy for the trash around the neighborhood strewn in the streets...

The lights and gfi circuits in the kitchen and bathroom failed the first night so this time when I call the office they sent by a gentleman who fixed everything right away even replaced the light above the shower.. that was nice that my voicemail wasn’t ignored this time... we discussed the parking and go figure... the 4 empty parking spots for that building were generally reserved for the other units but a fourth float spot was sometimes available....

This rental was what I expected. It was clean, quiet, and very close to the beach! The size was expected for the price. I was staying with a couple other friends and this size was great for a week. If I come back to Oahu I would stay here again.

Could use some care. Needs new blinds in the front. We were on third floor with no elevator. It is quite close to the beach. Parking provided. Should have basic condiments for cooking like ketchup, mustard, salt, pepper, cooking oil, etc.

If I could give zero stars I would. I'm sure it could have been a nice stay but due to my flight was cancel because of the hurricane I had called and check to see if they can cancel or change dates. I was told I can only cancel 30 days before which obviously I wasn't planning a hurricane to pass or planning to cancel 30 days ago. I believe the situation should have been taken care a little differently they weren't able to cancel or refund any of my money because I did not have "travel insurance". Even the airline which I did not have travel insurance was able to help me and change dates free of charge due to the category 4 hurricane . So just lost all the money booking this place. And I now booked somewhere else.

We staying in Royal Moana 302 from January 10 to March 23, 2016. The condo has been updated and was well equipped for our long term stay. It was great to have beach chairs, towels, umbrellas supplied. The condo is in a great location and less than a five minute walk to the beach. The Ali'i staff were most helpful and we would like to recognize Nicole and Michael for their extra efforts during our stay. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have a safe installed in each condo to protect passports, cash, credit cards, etc. We will be back for another visit.

We were very happy with our choice of accommodation while staying at Waikiki. While you do not get the best view, we were not concerned about it as we hardly spent any time at the apartment - there is so much to do on Oahu. The check-in process was smooth and problem-free. We found the property to be very clean, well maintained and well equipped. It felt like we were at home. We did not have any issues during our stay, so we did not have a reason to contact the owner or management. It takes just 5 minutes to get to the beach, restaurants, shops, etc. from the property.We would definitely stay there again.
