room service was a little hit and miss also dinner menu which was very similar to lunch one, could have had more options, after 3 days it was a bit repetitive .

Spacious and comfy rooms, good and fairly priced spa and huge gym.

Hotel is part of a busy tourist destination, right next to the beach is a marina. Water quality unfortunately quite bad (oil film on the water). 80% of the staff speaks only portuguese, which makes it hard to communicate if you are visiting from abroad. Bar tender needed 30 minutes to prepare a Bellini (one of only a few cocktails on the list) and had to ask a colleague several times. Level of professionalism not sufficient for a hotel that charges 700$+ per night.

Sauna/ Spa/ Fitness all very good and needed as weather was poor. Dinner in main restaurant included in the rate and better than expected.

Beach is not the main attraction for the resort. Design of the buildings was a bit weird with open spaces and poor connections. Avoid first floor rooms with windows facing parking lot.

Attention to details with exceptional good taste in all parts of the hotel with hand picked items to decorate. 3 superb swimming pools and very good gym and spa facilities. Good food and friendly service

This is the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in! From the moment we arrived, the staff were so friendly and helpful; they arranged numerous day trips for us and provided us with loads of different options of things to do! The food was absolutely amazing, the breakfast buffet had loads of the choice and was all really fresh. The evening meal in the restaurant and the staff in the restaurant were 5 star! The hotel room and everywhere in the hotel was clean and decorated to the highest quality! The hotel also own an island which they offer free transfers to and we had the most incredible seafood meal cooked for us whilst there. Overall just the most perfect hotel and experience, would 10000% come again

Breakfast was excellent, with a wide choice of food on the buffet and all kinds of extra's on request. The dinner in the evening was also pretty perfect, very nice dishes, lots of choice and beautifully presented. Overall the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. A great stay!

The only drawback for this hotel is that it is missing a viby bar area. Maybe we were slightly out of season, but the bar in the lobby was missing atmosphere and there were no alternatives.

The staff, service, amenities, hospitality, beautiful suite. They even had our family photograph frames on a nightstand! They must’ve printed it from my social media.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Absolutely stunning from the decor to the private island attached to the hotel to the incredible spa and all the amazing services on offer. The food in the Fasano restaurant is incredible, the rooms are incredibly comfortable and spacious, there is a multitude of convenient shops in the complex, the spa service is perhaps the best one I've ever experienced in a hotel. I'd give everything a 10/10 ... except for one thing - the 'included'. restaurant, which I would give a 2/10

The 'inclusive' restaurant. What we didn't like was that you can't book the hotel without booking breakfast+dinner included in the price, and the restaurant this inclusive fee covers you for is quite honestly terrible! The food was school-dinner worthy at best. NOTE: we only ate there once, so it may well have been that we just picked two bad things on the menu, and the restaurant itself is great, but we return. This didn't impact our stay at all however because as luck would have it, for the duration of our stay, this restaurant was closed which meant we were able to eat in the Fasano Restaurant, and the food quality of Fasano Restaurant is amazing! My only reluctance to book this hotel again is that next time, we wouldn't be able to count on the luck of the poor quality restaurant being closed and being allowed to eat in Fasano Restaurant for our inclusive price. The best (and perhaps ONLY) thing the hotel could do to improve is completely restructure the menu and chefs within the beach-restaurant to reflect the 5 star quality of the hotel, when currently that restaurant reflects nothing of the sort. Other than that, it was perhaps the best hotel I've ever stayed in!

I liked a lot the very helpful concierge who was always available via WhatsApp. The boat tour they book for us was outstanding!

Beach is not at overall levels of the hotel

The Fasano is a beautiful hotel, located at a magnificent spot at the Brazilian green coast. it can measure itself with some of the best hotels in the world. Front office, concierge and spa staff are amazing.

Some minor things that have a big impact on customer experience can and should be improved. The restaurant staff doesn’t seem to be well trained and leadership seems to be missing there, although all staff is super friendly. We had half board and the menu was limited and was the same every day. The a la carte restaurant was closed so no escape. And the coffee in the room should be complimentary.

Incredible people, service and property!!

We were surprised that there was a wedding party booked, increasing the COVID risk and with noise during the night. We were not informed of that event. If we had been informed we would have changed our stay to another period.

Hotel did not follow COVID protocols regarding wedding event vis a vis other guests.
