It was a wonderful stay at Bamboo lagoon. The staff was so generous and helpful. Location is on point and food was very good. Ambience and the way they have designed the resort, it was really amazing. Most recommended resort.

The management is superb specially savitha,never mer someone so efficient with the work..they made sure we had every possible facility and we got a free upgrade too!!!would surely come back

We had a great stay at the Bamboo Lagoon resort. The place is located on the river bank. Our room was right in front so we had a beautiful view of the water and houseboats slowly passing by. Very clean rooms with required things available. Comes with toiletries, AC, a kettle, a hairdryer, fans and there was power back-up during power cuts. Clean and nice bathroom with hot water availability. The pool is clean and we had a good time there too. The food along with refreshments was quite tasty and they made it in the local way so that was a treat! They also arrange for shikhara rides at a cheaper rate if you want it and also helped us with an auto to take us around Alappey to tour sights. Charles, Jobin, Chandu and other staff were helpful and available at all times. The boat that takes you to and fro the resort and the main road is available all day when you want to go out. The whole ambience of the place is relaxing and it's a vacation well spent at this place. The entire resort is a romantic place and I highly recommend it for couples for quality time.

O was not given the room I was booked for,, the AC was in a bad state when I moved to another room for last 2 nights it was better.

The location of this place was lovely - right on the water. We arrived quite late at night and were surprised to be greeted at the reception area and taken across the river on a little boat! The manager apologised as our there had been a confusion with our twin room booking and there were only double rooms available - however, he gave us 2 double rooms instead which was amazing! Rooms could do with a little updating, but were comfortable and clean. We only stayed 1 night but it would be a lovely place to relax for longer. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and food was good.

The location was excellent , you are in a backwater island and see the house boat sailing past you while seating in the room. Nice experience. The staff was very friendly and cordial.

The property can be more clean , the rooms and the facilities in the toilets.
