De locatie van dit hotel is prachtig. Een schitterend uitzicht over het stuwmeer.
Daarnaast heeft dit hotel een prima keuken. Zelfs de lokale bevolking komt in dit restaurant eten.
Wij waren op de motor en hadden een aantal zware koffers mee. Het is dan niet eenvoudig deze alle trappen op te zeulen. Het was fijner geweest als dit met een lift had gekund.

Breakfast - just supermarket yogurt and bread with cheese, nothing healthy (no eggs, muesli, fruit or porridge). Checking not too smooth, no smiles during breakfast

My room and bathroom was comfortable and had everything I need after day long excurcions, Location is really very good if you plane to explore Vale Verzasca. It is at the shore of Verzasca lake. It is beside the main (only) road of Versasca Valley but at night there is almost no traffic. at all. I am a very light sleeper and I always have earplugs with me but I did not use them. Day time it can be noisy but I went to Versasca Valley to hike not to sit in the hotel. I ate dinner in the hotel twice and liked both meals. Hotel al Lago is a great value for its price.

Super easy to find. Just 1 minute walk from bus stop. Extremely clean apartment. Excellent food with very good price. Staff very helpful and good breakfast. The view from the terrace was beautiful.
One staff taking care of both restaurant and hotel, so you might have to wait a bit, if arriving during lunch / dinner time. Staff is very friendly though.

Our room was supposed to have a balcony with lake and mountain view. However, we were accommodated in a room that had neither balcony nor even windows.
Communication with the staff was difficult due to the language barrier (they speak only Italian).
Breakfast was very simple.

We were charged extra for city tax, although it was included in the price (according to the booking confirmation).
Location: Be aware that you cannot walk to the nearby dam (there is no sideway). Not recommended without a car.

The atmosphere and the rooms were very clean. The staff was very nice and knew how to communicate in multiple languages. Breakfast is included, it looks exactly like the pictures provided from the hotel. The food was fresh and quite delicious, it was served to the table. You can also eat lunch and dinner there given that it is a restaurant and a hotel. The prices are quite similar to the U.K. prices, maybe a bit higher. We had two rooms (7 and 8) which had nice views from the balconies.

Amazing terrace where you can have dinner or breakfast. Very quiet location, close to hiking trails. Very clean with nice and helpful staff. Check-in available until late hours. Bus stop very close.

The place was very clean and we had a room with a view of the lake. Nice comfortable beds and the room great value for money. Nice food at the restaurant!

The staff and servers are very friendly, patient and make you feel at home there. They made special food arrangements for the children which was great.

The View was nice and it's located very well
1 of the the 3 Staff that i met called me indirectly a "liar". I called days before my stay if i could take my small Dog with me, a woman told me it's 5Fr/Night. That's how much i payed in every other Hotel in Switzerland. The guy at thr check out literally said "it's not true that somebody said 5fr cause it's always 10fr" omg...
Also the cleaning lady seemed to have a problem with Dogs and took the second blanket away where my Dog was sleeping on. My Dog is cleaner than most Humans. If i pay double room as 1 Person i want double service. Even if it's double breakfast! I pay for it!
