Jaye and his father, also called Jaye, were very welcoming. The rooms were very clean and modern with a view down over Kandy. Breakfast was good and we were able to pay for the stay using a bank card. Jaye was also very helpful in recommending a clinic ( Asiri Health Care ) to remove some sutures that were due for removal before we flew home.

Super friendly and helpful host! He gave us a lot of information and helped us book tickets for the train from Nuwara Eliya to Ella although at first all tickets seemed to be sold out. Spacious room and delicious fresh breakfast. The centre is only a 15' walk away and we had a nice view of the city from our room.

There were multiple barking dogs on the road between the centre and the homestay (same all over Sri Lanka though). The shower could use a bit more pressure.

We had a wonderful stay at Jaye's homestay, run by a lovely family. The room was spotlessly clean, light and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed (it was even better than the pictures and the room was the cleanest we've had in Sri Lanka!) The location was perfect for us with a very short walk downhill into town and lovely view over an arena. The Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious, fresh, and plentiful - thank you so much!

Best fruit and juice at breakfast! Fruit comes from the garden and tastes better than anywhere else in Sri Lanka.

The location above the city of Kandy was ideal in that it kept us out of the bad air pollution of the city and the view from the balcony and breakfast area was wonderful. Ideal for Kandy and the famous botanical garden. The varying Sri Lankan breakfast was always a treat

The room was clean, but did not have a view but as spent little time at the homestay not too much of a problem the owners were friendly and extremely interested in making sure the stay was perfect. they arranged drivers and breakfast was great on the balcony overlooking the sports ground

Kandy is very hilly so there is a climb to reach the accommodation but tuk tuks are cheap and advisable to get around

Everything was perfect. Very clean and fresh room, tasty and cheap breakfast and a very friendly guy who helped us with a bus to sigiria. So far it's the best hotel in Sri Lanka I have stayed at. Definitely would recommend.

Very comfortable modern accommodation. the owner is a lovely man who speaks perfect English The breakfast was perfect with a choice of English or Sri Lankan. nice to have the option. the views from the accommodation over the sports ground towards the city and great Buddha are great. Good Wi-Fi and selection of international tv channels. Views of a jungle and small waterfall also. we saw nice colourful birds while eating breakfast and saw monkeys when walking into town. it only took 15 mins to walk to the lake and temple, especially nice going by the side of the nearby park. the park 5 mins down the road is also worth a visit (seemed to be a place for young couples to cuddle!). if you walk from there 5 mins up the hill you get to the best viewing platform in Kandy.. recommend

Oh my god.even it was far from hotel loud hymns from the buddhist temple, which started at 04.50 in the morning and lasted for half an hour, disturbed my sleep. The owner of the hotel has prepared a complaint letter and will give it to the police (as he said). I hope it will get results. not much, but there was a musty damp smell in the room. I kept the room door open until the morning

Comfortable place with kind hosts full of helpful advices! The location is great (only 10mn walk to go downtown), the room is clean and quiet after a day on the noisy but living Kandy!

A great place to stay in Kandy with a beautiful view. Try and book a room that faces out towards the city. The family who run this homestay are amazing. Very knowledgeable about the city and are exceptionally friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
