A beautifully furnished, stone cottage in Swanage with garden and parking.
Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Wohn Cul-de-sac, dieses beeindruckende freistehende Haus wurde zu einem hohen Spezifikation neu gebaut und fertig. Das Gatehouse ist nur zehn Minuten zu Fuß vom Stadtzentrum von Swanage und preisgekrönten Stränden entfernt und hat einen einfachen Zugang zum Parkplatz für 3 Autos.
Es wurde zu einem hohen Standard mit Komfort eingerichtet, so dass es ein großartiger Ort zum Entspannen ist. Für Kinder gibt es einen Zugang zu einem Kinderreisebett, einer Treppe, einem Hochstuhl, Spielsachen und Spielen.
Im Erdgeschoss ist offen mit einem Essbereich und Wohnzimmer in den Garten schaut. Französisch Türen aus dem Wohnzimmer öffnen sich auf die Terrasse und den Garten. Es gibt auch einen Schuppen, die Gartenmöbel und ein Grill enthält und für Fahrradspeicher für diejenigen verwendet werden, die die wunderschöne Umgebung erkunden.
Die Treppe führt nach oben aus dem Wohnzimmer, zweigt zwei getrennte Landungen. Die erste hat eine gute Größe Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett und ein separates Voll suite Badezimmer. Die zweite enthält die zwei Einzelbetten, großen King-Size-Schlafzimmer und ein separates Duschbad.

Lovely weeks stay at The Gatehouse. It’s a very comfortable, well equipped property with little extra touches like toys/games in the children’s room and use of the beach equipment which was a great help! The garden was enjoyable to relax in after days of exploring the Jurassic Coast. Would recommend!

The Gatehouse is a lovely house, with a great layout for families or friends sharing. It is immaculately presented, very comfortable, very easy to cater for stay-in evenings, everything works excellently. An easy walk into Swanage town and very easy drives to the fantastic South West Coastal path and the villages en route.

We cannot speak highly enough of this property; it delivers everything and more than you would expect from a holiday rental.
Additional ongoing comms with Sally (owner) throughout the week were very efficient.
A boiler problem rolled over to us from previous week however it was corrected.
House location means you are only a 10 minute stroll from the town. And garden is private plus well equipped for all to enjoy.
Most likely a return to property for the four of us.

My family stayed at this property for 5 days in July. Throughout the booking process and pre arrival Sally was really helpful and made everything run smoothly.
The house was a good size for us with 2 adults and 3 children aged 10 to 23z the garden room was an extra bonus as it gave space. The garden was a good size with plenty of seating, parking was really easy.
We cooked at home some nights and the kitchen was well stocked, there were also plenty of takeaways within walking distance and most delivered. We also walked I.to the town which was a relatively short walk, fast on the way down!
Swanage itself we found to be a great base to visit lots of attractions on the Jurassic Coast.
Throughout our stay Sally was very responsive, I will definitely return!

We spent 9 nights at the cottage. Great location, about 15 minutes walk to town and beach. Plus a very well stocked convenience store, a couple of pubs, chippie and Chinese takeaway, all within about 5 minutes walk. Property was very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Only negative was no tumble dryer, which wouldn’t be an issue if you are there for a weekend. Beautiful looking home from the outside too. Thanks Sally!

We liked the property as it is modern, with 3 toilets, 2 showers and 2 dedicated off street parking spaces, so unlike many of the rental properties in Swanage you’re not fighting for limited parking or queuing for a bathroom in the morning. It’s slightly further from the beach, but very handy for day trips to Corfe Castle or other Purbeck villages.

Sally was a great host, lots of communication and the checking in process was clear and easy. The photos don't do this house justice, it's lovely and the location is fabulous. The house is really well stocked with a great bbq. There are beach toys as well and a decent wind break. We have a 6 six year old and the walk to the beach was 15mins. There is a decent stocked Costcutters a few minutes walk from the house.

This is a well appointed and comfortable holiday home, with an amply stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, lovely rooms, good equipment for infants (sadly we only discovered the toy box late in the week). The garden is very pleasant, and the location excellent. We had great weather, and never needed to try the TV. We hope to be back.

Great location for us and great house
This house is in a great spot, local pub good, great for walking etc, which is what we had hoped.
Very happy with the house and would recommend, but had some issues with cleanliness of the bed linen, which was made known to the owner. We also had to go out and buy a new battery for the beeping smoke alarm when we arrived.
The owner is aware of the issue and did apologise, although we resolved the issues ourselves.

The Gatehouse is in a good location walking distance or a short drive from Swanage town - it’s clean, comfortable and cosy and really nicely decorated - we stayed for a weekend in Nov with friends and three children under 6 and t”we all loved it. Sally was super helpful and we would definitely like to go back again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Gatehouse. A lovely comfortable, warm, house with everything supplied we could have possibly needed. Sally was very prompt with any communications and we had a nice little welcome pack when we arrived. Swanage is a beautiful town and we enjoyed some lovely walks. Would love to come back to the Gatehouse sometime, throughly recommended.

The gatehouse is a beautiful house, in a great location for the beach, clifftop walks, the priests way, Harry's rock and the village with quirky independent shops and cafes.
It is walkable to The Black Swan, a must visit local pub.
The house is extremely well equipped and has a very practical layout. the garden is safe for dogs and is also very well equipped with decking and sun furniture.
The beds are very comfortable and there are two new modern bathrooms.
There is plenty of parking.

Really lovely holiday rental. We travelled as a family of 5 and a baby and there was plenty of room for us all. The garden was lovely and only a 10 minute walk to the beach and same distance to the shops. Would come back.
