Nothing really. Location was ok. View was good from the room.

Air con was so noisy, couldn't sleep. Coffee machine didn't work. The automated reception that responded to us on WhatsApp was ridiculous, complete nonsense! Breakfast was like being in a soup kitchen, then waiting for plates, just a free for all! One crazy nightmare!

The amenities

The staff was very unorganized and the hallways stunk like old gym socks and the elevator barely worked. I booked for 2 days and the front desk didn’t communicate to the staff and housekeeping kept barging in our room. It was not the relaxing pleasant experience I had before I was very disappointed

Nos escucharon y eso es maravilloso, el año pasado que fuimos nos quejamos porque en el desayuno no daban proteína (Solo harina y fruta) pero este año leímos que habían mejorado esto... volvimos y en efecto mejoraron, pues nos dieron en el desayuno Salchichas y dos tipos de presentación de huevos.

I had written before arriving requesting a 2-3 pm check-in if possible. Received an email from Booking.com saying that Palazzo said: What you requested can't be arranged ahead of time but Palazzo Lakeside Hotel said they'll do their best to accommodate you upon arrival. When we got there we were told there was a room available but we'd have to pay $35 for an early check-in otherwise come back around 3:30-4;00. They should have mentioned that in their response to Booking.com so we could plan accordingly. Also the right side of the bed was very uncomfortable (rolled towards middle) and we couldn't get ABC or CBS. Was told the channels to press but it skipped those. The maintenance person tried to fix but couldn't. Hoping they fixed that for the next person, should be able to get basic channels.

The room and bathroom was decently nice. The lobby was also nice.

It’s obvious that the ownership has made attempts to make this hotel nice. The outside is old and not in great shape. Some of the halls lap seemed beat up. The lobby staff was not very nice and accommodating. One lady was needs to be taught hospitality, she was just rude to people that didn’t speak English. Also some of the halls permitted marijuana.oh and I saw a lot of liter on the ground outside while walking around.

It was an affordable accommodation that we needed for one night and this seemed like a good option. We weren’t disappointed

If I were looking for more I wouldn’t have picked this spot

Check in took over an hour and there were no rooms available when we arrived. The TV had cable supposedly connected but it did not work. The light in the bathroom was faulty and did not work

The place has new management and it's going downhill fast. The offered bkfst. used to be great a year ago, now it's just boiled eggs and oatmeal.

First of all the advertising is misleading. There are NO lake views. Unfortunately, I found a bunch of crazy ants on my bed upon checking in only to be told they were fully booked and that I had to wait until the next day for housekeeping. Update, NO ONE did anything!!! I complained 5 times to no avail. Not even Booking.com

Was repeatedly being stalked by someone from my floor. Manager did nothing I checked out after 1 of 3 nights refused refund and manager told me that she informed the person that they made me uncomfortable which made things worse

La ubicación es buena y en general el personal es atento y amable

No cuentan con una puerta de salida para peatones y deben salir por el área del parqueo junto con los autos, además de navegar tener un timbre para solicitar que abran dicha puerta al momento de salir. El hotel debe realizar un mantenimiento a sus instalaciones para eliminar en lo posible el intenso olor a humedad y darle mejor iluminación a los pasillos, tienen una zona “royalty” que está mucho mejor cuidada y hacen sentir a los demás huéspedes sin importancia pero asumo que dado el precio es lo que corresponde, sin embargo tuve la oportunidad de quedarme en otro hotel de precio similar y las calidad de las instalaciones estándar era muy superior. Les hicimos la solicitud de early check in con mucho tiempo de anticipación y hubiera sido un buen detalle que la tomarán en cuenta y la hicieran posible pero no fue así

We got a good deal (120$/2 nights) so very good value for money. After booking we found some negative reviews so our expectations were low. However, we were pleasantly surprised and none of it seemed true to our visit. Just make sure you get a renovated room. Staff is friendly and helpful. Big size room with some lake view. The beds were very comfortable, although the springs of the bed were a bit noisy when getting in/out. A comfortable walk-in shower. TV channels are just very basic cable. Breakfast with good choice and fresh pineapple. Free parking with enough spots available. Many places around to get some food. 26 minutes from Universal Studios.

TV channels are just very basic cable. Breakfast can get busy the later you arrive. We returned our room keys at check out to avoid a 10$ surcharge.

The balcony sliding door was in serious need of maintenance bordering on replacement needed. Security risk albeit 5tj floor. Two lifts were out from the 3 during our stay

The staff were exceptional. I love all the positive quotes around the building.

Breakfast was a bait and switch for me. Just carbs… most places that have free breakfast at least give you a meat.

Beds were comfortable and the location was perfect.

Towels were dirty and had stains. Shower fixtures were falling apart and there were spiders in the bathroom.
