We had a relaxing stay at Family Tides, 3 adults & 2 dogs. We loved the decks & easy access to the beach. The house was well equipped, the beds were comfortable & the outdoor shower was well laid out with good water pressure! We would definitely choose to stay here again!

Property was just as described. It is set up for small children as there was a high chair and other items such as a stroller. Kitchen has nice assortment of needed resources except spices. Grass was extremely high… taller than my dog. Called the property company… was told i would receive a call back but was never received. Grass was cut toward end of trip. Nice walk over to beach… would definitely recommend.

We returned to Family Tides for a second year and were not disappointed in our stay. Each morning we rose early to catch the sunrise on the beach. Our exploration of the area focused South this year, down Old Oregon Inlet Road and beyond. There are beach access points along the way that provided opportunities to bring the dogs and search for seashells. We also visited Bodie Island lighthouse, which is a few miles away. The private beach access is a short walk from this home and we went several times a day. The house is comfortable and has everything we need for an enjoyable stay. The kitchen is well stocked, there are baby gates, patio furniture, and beach furniture readily available. We hope to return next year.

This house is spacious and just a short walk to beach access, a few houses down. There was a broken window latch and a ceiling fan that wasn't working, in arrival, but were very quickly fixed, after being reported. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful week at Family Tides in South Nags Head. The house met all of our expectations, and we were just a short walk to the beach. As all of our family members are adults (grandchildren to grandparents), the house was in a perfect location for everyone to go down to the beach or leave the beach whenever we desired. The grandchildren used the top floor and enjoyed having their own deck. It was secluded enough that they never disturbed the older generations sleeping below them. The kitchen is stocked with everything we needed and having a second refrigerator was an extra bonus. We would love to stay here again and are making plans to return.

Wonderful place to stay
Family Tides is a great vacation home for extended stays! Excellent room throughout. Full amenities and everything stocked to make it as comfortable as possible. Quiet location with private, close beach access yet not too far from town leaving everything convenient yet not crowded. I recommend this stay to anyone looking for an easy & fun beach trip.

Felt like our home away from home the second we walked in!
This property did not disappoint! The house is a short 2-minute walk to the beach. The rooms are warm and inviting and plenty of places to hang inside and outside. The kitchen is fully stocked with every bowl, pot, pan, utensil you can imagine. Although our first time to the Outer Banks on vacation, this home had the “old feel” of days gone by in the best way possible. Lots of great restaurants and family activities. I really love this home and when I go back to Nags Head I will rent here again!

The homes location was great and just a short distance to the beach. The kitchen was the best stocked dishes wise that I have ever had, lots of extra pots and pans including a crockpot and skillets. The home could use a deep cleaning, there was lots of built up dust and the hvac filter really neeeded to be cleaned and changed. The beds were Very comfy and there was enough seating for a large family. The home had games, and movies which the kids enjoyed as well. We would book this home again in the future.

A two minute walk from the beach. This place is beautiful inside, and it has everything you think you would need for your vacation. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen stocked with every appliance, and the outside shower stall is a huge plus. There are plenty of activities nearby for kids. The beach was quiet as was the neighborhood in general.
