We absolutely loved our time here, large apartment, clean tidy with everything you could possible need for our stay. The apartment is in a perfect location a short walk to the supermarket, the town, local sites and to the ferry that takes you to the beautiful island.
A food hamper with crackers, milk, juice, wine etc was there for our arrival and the apartment had all the essentials for our stay, we couldn’t have asked for more.
We had such a lovely stay we’re looking to book for next year.

I have stayed in this complex in various apartments many times but never in this apartment before. No negative aspects to report, the apartment is beautifully presented, with everything you need for a home from home! The owner also left a welcome package for us which was unexpected but very welcome after travelling. Thanks so much Jose, will definitely book your apartment again!

The owner provided amenities which made this stay enjoyable. The unit was clean and comfortable. Also, the location was central to Tavira. A car is not necessary in that everything was in walking distance.

Great apartment in very central location and quiet area. First time in Tavira but couldn’t fault the apartment with everything you need for a great stay. Lots of bars and restaurants very close by. Sun hits the front of the apartment in the morning and then again at the back around 3pm til sunset. There is a pool but we didn’t go there and it didnt appear to be used by anyone else. Would definitely stay here again. A fantastic holiday!

Another great winter stay in Tavira! Thanks again to Mr. Barrias for allowing us to rent his condo. The location is great for walking to all the local services and for touring around the Algarve and into Spain The condo is fully equipped to meet all your needs for daily living. The owner and his property manager Olga, and her staff, are very helpful and available if needed. We will be back!!

My family, ages 2 months to 83 years, and I had a wonderful stayin this condo. The location cannot be beat. We didn't have a vehicle, although there is parking for one if you do, and we were able to easily walk anywhere we wanted to go.
The condo was also funished with everything we needed. I can see why this booking is rarely available.
The condo's owner and his manager were quick to respond when I had questions.

Property was excellent in all respects.
Only slight problem was the double bed upstairs which was too firm for my wife who has two hip replacements.
Suggested solution: Supply optional 5 centimeter memory foam mattress topper.
Also had bit minor problem finding TV channels. Otherwise perfect.

Our second stay at this property, and we loved it as much as before. The spacious apartment was spotlessly clean, in a well-maintained, small complex. The location is perfect for us, being in a quiet, pretty street, yet just a few minutes' walk from the local amenities - small supermarket and shops, bars, restaurants, cafes, ATM, fish market, beach ferry, and the many cobbled streets of Tavira to explore. The town has a magical appeal, particularly when lit up at night. We shall be returning.

My experience through Vrbo and the owner, Jose, was excellent. You are always wary when booking a place abroad, but the description of property and whole process was easy and honest.
The appartment is very well equipped, especially for a large group. The fixture and fittings are of excellent quality and comfortable.
Being of mixed ages, the flat having two floors gave the older members of party a quiet restful area.
The pool was a real bonus with the children and the location is superb for the ferry, shops and restaurants.
I would strongly recommend this accommodation and Jose was a very approachable host.

This was our second time to stay in Jose's apartment in Tavira. It is the perfect location for a long term stay in this relaxing city. We come here to "live" for a couple months and this is the place to do that!!
Jose and his property manager Olga are easy to communicate with and very attentive to any of our questions or concerns. The apartment is fully equipped for all your daily living needs and provides easy walking access to all the local services. You don't need a car but, if you do have one, there is an underground parking garage.
We had another wonderful time in this great apartment, and in Tavira, and will be back again!

We had such a great family holiday in this apartment. The accommodationis fantastic with everything you need and more! The location is perfect for easy walking to the centre, shops, supermarkets and train station. Communication with Jose was easy and he replied to any queries very promptly. This apartment is spacious, well presented, clean, comfortable, and has the best equipped kitchen of anywhere we have stayed before. We particularly loved using the coffee maker and orange juicer every day. The upstairs open-plan bedroom and lounge area is beautiful, with an outside terrace, giving us our own space from the other 3 adults staying downstairs. And wow, what huge, comfy beds! We like staying close to shops, restaurants and cafes, and the location of these well-maintained apartments is perfect, whilst also being lovely and quiet, with its own friendly little community. The owner was most helpful, particularly with the postponements we had to make with our booking through the pandemic. We enjoyed a wonderful stay here and definitely plan to return soon.

Perfect stay
We have visited Tavira on many occasions but were looking for an apartment closer to the town centre. The location was perfect as was the apartment. It was spotlessly clean, spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. The welcome pack waiting for us in the fridge was a kind gesture also. We stayed here with one other couple but the apartment would easily and comfortably suit 6 people. We initially worried that given the number of apartments in the condominium and the central location that it would be noisy at night but we needn’t have worried at all as it was perfectly peaceful. Finally, many thanks to the owner Jose for his continuous communication and to Olga and her team for ensuring someone was there to meet us and to be on hand if we had any queries or problems. All in all, a wonderful holiday and we would not hesitate to stay here again. Karin & Ken L (Scotland).

Tavira stay
End of October weather is a little cooler but very pleasant, ideal for bikes and walking. Accomadation was superb, fully equipped and lovely sunshine in the evening on the balcony. Quiet at night. Just 5 minutes from the river , restaurants and ferry to Ilha da Tavira , Thank you for a lovely visit.

This duplex apartment is fantastic. From it's location to the town centre of Tavira to the short walk to the ferry to the beach. It was cleaner than clean and had everything to make your holiday perfect.
The bedrooms are huge and have masses of wardrobe/storage space and the second floor living accommodation is bigger than your average one bedroom apartment.
The owner was great to deal with and left us with the essentials: milk, ice, beer, wine, cereal bars.
George - the chap who welcomed us was very helpful and knowledgeable.
The swimming pool area was lovely too.
I have been lucky enough to stay in lots of apartments overseas and this was by far one of the very best.

Beautiful apartment and beautiful city!
This apartment is excellently maintained and has everything any group would need to make their stay comfortable and enjoyable. It is a very short walk from the centre of Tavira. Tavira is a beautiful place with so much history and culture, beautiful restaurants, cafes and bars. We we're lucky enough to be there for a music festival with live jazz every evening in the square. . The apartment is safe and quiet with a well maintained pool. ...from the day of key pick up to handing back everything is very well organized. The owner José maintained regular contact to ensure everything was good with us. George and Sandra who look after the apartment are a pleasure to deal with and looked after us excellently. I couldn't say enough good things about our stay! We are a family with 3 teenage children and I would very highly recommend this apartment. One of the nicest we have ever stayed in. Tavira we will be back soon I hope!!

Excellent place to stay for a family
This property is in an excellent location. Within location to all amenities. Very clean and all mod cons available within the apartment. The area was very safe for children as it was gate code access. The pool was ideal for us as a family if 5. Jose was great to deal with and George was extremely helpful in letting us know where to eat and pointed out places to go and visits. I would highly recommend this place to stay

Our third visit to Tavira and this was the nicest apartment that we have stayed in. We had a lovely welcome from Sandra, who looks after the property and were very happy to find cold beers in the fridge. The location is perfect for a short walk into town- there is some daytime neighborhood noise, but that's only to be expected. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds comfortable and we especially liked the upstairs suite. There are three small balconies, but no private outdoor space for more than 3 people- perhaps the only thing missing. Communication with the owner was excellent and a problem with the air-conditioning was fixed by Sandra within minutes. Highly recommended!

Lovely Apartment, Great Location
Lots of help and communication from the owner Jose before we arrived and a warm welcome from George, who looks after things locally (and lives 2 doors away). Really well presented apartment, with plenty of space and all of the facilities you could expect (2 x TVs with DVDs and satalite, 2 x good bathrooms, Nespresso etc). The complex has a nice pool, which the 2 younger members of our group really enjoyed (aged 2 and 4). The complex feels very safe (as does the whole of Tavira) and is spotlessly clean. Tavira in May had a lovely feel. It is a tourist destination, but you become integrated quickly into Portugese life as the town is primarily still for the locals (at least in the low season).

Spacious, modern, Fully equipped, central location - a great place to stay on holiday
We had a delightful time in this apartment. It is centrally located in the beautiful town of Tavira. The owner is not resident, but 2 hosts who lives in the apartment complex took good care of us during our stay. They provided keys and helped us with matters, and also came to check if everything was in order. Really good service. The apartment is modern and well-equipped. The owner also provided us with a baby crib and a baby bath. In the complex, there is also a nice pool which you can use and the apartment has sun-beds which is possible to bring to the pool. We loved our stay and would not hesitate to rent this apartment again.
