Zimmer sind sehr sauber, sehr schöner Saunabereic und sehr gutes Essen.

Die Lage ist wunderschön. Man hört nur Waldgeräusche, das macht es sehr erholsam. Wanderwege sind direkt um die Ecke. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Wasser auf dem Zimmer ist inklusive. Die frisch gebackenen Brötchen beim Frühstück sind sehr lecker. Auch die Fruchtaufstriche sind sehr gut. Das Restaurant ist sehr ansprechend, hat schöne große Panoramafenster zum Wald hin. Da hält man sich gern auf. Die Sauna ist Ok. Pool und Terrasse zum Wald hin - auch sehr schön.

Das Essen war generell solide, aber bei über 200 Euro pro Nacht und 4 Sternen hätte ich mehr erwartet, z.Bsp. bessere Käsesorten und Fisch beim Frühstück oder frisch zubereitetes Rührei, frisch gepresster Orangensaft. Das Zimmer wirkte bis auf das Bad etwas abgewohnt, Löcher in den Wänden, die gar nicht oder nicht optimal zugemacht wurden, am Spiegel war ein Teil des Rahmens ab. In der Fassade waren ein paar Fenster zugemauert, aber nicht verputzt. Wirkte etwas behelfsmäßig, südländisch ;) Die Kommunikation beim Check in war nicht optimal, z.Bsp. wurde uns nicht gesagt, dass das Wasser auf dem Zimmer inklusive ist (was ja eigentlich ein schöner Pluspunkt ist) und dass die Zimmerreinigung nur auf Bestellung durchgeführt wird (Sowas kann man dann über Barcodes auf dem Zimmer erfahren, wenn man sie sich anschaut...). Wirkt wie Sparmaßnahmen, die als ökologisches Konzept verkauft werden.

The hotel has a great location in Saxon Switserland. It is very easy to have a nice trip to some great views (the bridge!). Also the pool is nice for a bit of cooling down on a hot day. Personnel is friendly, we even got a drink upon arrival!

Everything was exceptional. It takes some time to get adjusted to the booking of breakfast and dinner however it is very nice to see that the stuff is always making a big effort to create a nice atmosphere in the hotel. By doing that they are basically making sure that there is always enough food and space in the dinning area, it is therefore forgiven :) We were welcomed with a glass of Sekt (champagne). The building is not the prettiest but then again everything else is done with love and care so that thats the least of the concerns. We used the pool and sauna after a long day hiking the area.

The plastic plants in the rooms hallway could be improved. The rooms at night were very warm, on our last day we decided to turn the ac on. We were hoping for a natural cooling but thats ok.

Very helpful staff, wonderfully equipped sauna, it is especially nice to be welcomed with a drink of water or sparkling wine... Amazing breakfast and good dinner. This hotel has many additional benefits (bus tickets, sauna towels)
