Where do I start, everything about this place was amazing! The view from our bed was insane. Could see the sunset and watch the alpacas. The food was delicious and all the little touches around the place made our stay even more special. Relaxing in the hot tub after exploring the lakes was the perfect end to the evening. Faith, David and all the other staff here were super friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend this place enough!

amazing place lovely and clean

Stayed 1 night in Cairn suite to celebrate our anniversary. We were given a warm welcome and shown around. Everywhere was spotless and covid safe. Room was fab with everything we needed. Hot tub was amazing, so glad we were able to book a slot! Nice touch providing dressing gown and flipflips for the short walk over. I had pre ordered prosecco for the room which we were allowed to have in the hot tub. We had booked evening meal and chose the steak and salmon; both were very good. You book a slot for breakfast the night before, we chose to have it in our room and it arrived piping hot and was cooked to perfection! The honesty bar is a great idea and had a good choice. This is a great place and we would love to try out one of the other rooms although it would be hard to choose which one!

The whole atmosphere and ambience , just perfect .The staff were charming and helpful .The rooms 5 star with complimentary items . The protection offered for covid were excellent too . The food was value for money in every way.

I thought i had paid for a room with a bath, when i got there i was given a small room. Also you could hear people in the room above. Did not think the room was value for money at £162.00.

Very good breakfast and well situated for western lakes and the coast. Staff very careful around Covid-19 precautions. Would visit again.

The food, room, facilities and staff were excellent. To sum up we felt very comfortable and well looked after.

1692 Wasdale is an exceptional place. Faith and her team were fantastic and the room was beautiful. Bifolding doors open onto a private patio area with the only sound to be heard being birds and sheep. The dining experience was excellent with the food and presentation being of a "very high" standard. This is a place you will most definitely want to return to and will recommend to friends and family.

Location was great, staff very friendly, food was exceptional and good value. Had a very modern outlook in traditional shell.

Our bedroom was upstairs unfortunately we did not have direct access to our patio & had to use a communal door way. Only other issue was that the bed was a little hard but this is to personal preference. These are minor issues and in no way would they stop us doing a return visit.
