Amazing hosts, both the man and the woman look like they really love having guests stay with them and eat their food. Their nature is extremely welcoming, love to share stories, and just know how to make you comfortable. The room was decently sized, and the bathroom was amazing. The location is soo soo beautiful, on an adventurous road surrounded by mountains, Their food btw, is out of this world. I've never had such an amazing Rosti before, its a very modern touch to a traditional Swiss dish, and also the best raspberry cheese cake ever! We even came the next day for 2nd helpings of the cake, and loved it so much they gave the 2nd piece for free :D Prices in the summers are generally high, so in that respect, the value for money was quite good.
I wish the double rooms would have actually double beds - the beds were 2 twin beds joined together, hence they were not very comfortable to sleep on, specially with an infant with us.

It was in an amazing location in between multiple mountains. It is also close to the amazing Brienzersee. The people were very friendly and very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and we had dinner in the restaurant on the day we arrived and it was also amazing. I would really recommend this place. We had w a room with a private shower and toilet which was very handy, especially with two kids. Other rooms have shared toilets, but the shared toilets were clean as well. If we come back to Switzerland, I will book in the same place.

This was a lovely find. We wanted to drive the Susten Pass and this was based at the bottom of the Pass. The room was large and clean, hosts were amazing and the food was very good. We had the traditional Rosti, the best to date!

A great hotel in the middle of the mountains, the perfect place to explore and relax. The owners are super nice and kind: they waited for us for the first night (we had some delay) and they provided me with gluten-free bread for the breakfast (so gluten-free options are available here!). They were lovely, also with our 2-almost 3-year-old Lucilla! Furthermore, their Rösti Restaurant is one of the greatest discoveries ever!!! Obviously, gluten-free meals are available and sooooo good!!! Perfect to discover all the Grindelwald area and Berner Oberland (Aareschlucht super-recommended)! Jungfrau is not so far from here as well. Thank you so much for everything, we hope to be able to come back soon!

location, staff, breakfast, flexibility all top notch.
low ceilings- my 6’5” son had to duck like he was in a tent. I’m guessing ceilings are 6’2”.

Very polite staff. The owners are very nice. The view is superb and it's got a nice antique vibe. Lots of space for parking, good food choices, very good coffee and local beer. They are speaking english quite well. At night the area is quiet and peaceful.

The people were very kind and the food is great. The location is fine for a traveller en route to another mountain pass. Room is cosy and excellent bed. WC is on the hallway though.

The host was very friendly giving you the most welcoming feeling. Location had a view of excellent scenery. We saw the beautify sunset and sunrise at a mountain peak. Room was small but cosy to give you a homey feeling. The restaurant served excellent food too. Highly recommended.

The place is great! The room was small but cozy with a great view outside the window. Kitchen was amazing, local food is sooo good. The place owner is very friendly and hospitable men. Love the place and recommend to stop here, you won't regret it!!!
