Surprised to find out they don’t offer free water. we literally had to go to Walmart and buy bottled water and carry it back. But wait there’s more. Soon after checked in 6pm we heard our neighbor singing and playing music, with the poor sound proof system, we can hear everything and just pray that they can stop. But wait there’s more… 9pm until 3am, the night club downstairs started to play music and crowd started to sing dance and cheer. The noise was so loud and non stop that we can’t even hear ourselves talking to each other. This night ruined my sleep and my mood for the plan for next week, I pull out my phone and recorded the noise level and you can see the 2am time stamp. Next day we complained to front desk and let them know we will no longer stay for the rest of the booking. Here’s the crazy part. The front desk tells us, we should READ BOOKING REVIEW SO WE KNOW TO BRING NOISE CANCELLING HEADPHONES, and that what MOST CUSTOMER DO. Do you know what you are talking about, I pay for this hotel just so I can spend my vacation with a headphone while sleeping. Ridiculous. So if you want to stay in this hotel remember 1. Bring your own water 2. Bring your own noise cancelling headphone

La ubicación es increíble. Los aparts son maravillosos, amplios, limpios y las camas muy cómodas! El complejo tiene dos sectores de piscinas para disfrutar y descansar.

Breakfast was great, location was ideal. We were able to walk to good selection of restaurants and bars close by.

We had everything we needed. Maybe a kettle in the room would have been good for making a quick coffee.

Impossible to sleep. There is loud music next door to the hotel up to 4am.

The location was great - just one block from the main road, so it was peaceful enough to sleep but only took 2 minutes to get to the restaurants and 5 min to the beach. The rooftop pool was amazing and the bartender Pavel made the best cocktails!

Our apartment was in a separate building from the reception, so it was a bit uncomfortable to get to the rooftop pool.

Amabilidad, disponibilidad y servicios del hotel. Habitación muy limpia, con aire acondicionado en excelente funcionamiento. Servicios de check out muy necesarios, como ducha y custodia de equipaje

Mala aislación del ruido ambiental, y frente hay una discoteca y en los baños de la habitación los productos de higiene tenían agua.

The rooftop pool is excellent! We had great cocktails delivered to the pool and the bartender was really kind. It’s a lovely reprieve from the very tourist centre of Playa del Carmen. I did also like that the hotel was a close walk to a great local restaurant.

The bar/restaurant next door played very loud music late into the evening. I was so jet lagged that it didn’t matter but if you’re a light sleeper it may be an issue.

Made arrangements to pick us up at the airport and they forgot!! We waited for half an hour realizing no one was there to pick us up contacted the hotel waited another twenty min for them to send someone. When we got to the hotel the front service desk did not acknowledge or apologize I did not feel welcomed. Make sure you confirm pick up arrangements before landing get the name of the service provider/driver

We stayed in the Antera Residence, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a great living room, kicthen very well equiped. Including also a washing machine. It was a really great residence. Although it is very close to the 5th it was not noise at all. We had a great experience.

The breakfast included is really good, but it is mexican style, when we prefer a more buffet like style. But it was good. It was not also my prefered region of Playa. Nowadays, the 38th (the hotel is located aat 6th) is much more charming. However, I would stay there again for sure because the apartment exceeded our expectations.

the ac is horrible so hot in Playa u want a nice cool room when u get In from walking all day. they tried to fix it , even move us to another room our first night to sleep but that ac was also meh also the music from the bar Next door was nonstop! I like to party but bedtime is for resting .

The noise was unbearable. Could not sleep at all from the loud music/bass coming from a nearby club. Shook the walls until 3:00am every night. Asked to move after the first night and was told “it is normal”. Disappointing more hasn’t be done for the soundproofing in the building given it’s clearly an issue. Would not go back, nor recommend due to this alone. Staff pleasant, but unfortunately not being able to sleep in a place you literally pay to sleep in is wild. Also - no drinking water was provided nor accessible at the hotel whatsoever. Found this odd, to be sent to a corner store. No biggie but could be improved - even if only a paid option was available.
