Convenient location for my trip. Good communication from owners on arrival to access the cabin!

This is our second stay at Peaceful Talkeetna Getaway - both times we’re excellent. Cabins we’re warm and comfortable. Everything is well maintained and in perfect working order. Access was easy (the driveway was maintained well during some heavy snow fall). The location is amazing with great proximity to both ends of the Spur Road. We had everything we needed and the property owners were very quick to respond to any questions we had.

Close to Talkeetna. It was quiet and all we needed.

Quiet, cute cabin with all of the amenities you need. The kitchen is well stocked with supplies and has a microwave, oven, and fridge. Just a 10 minute drive from Main Street Talkeetna. Easy to check in and was a good base to go to Denali State and National Parks.

The mattress pad for the sofa bed and the additional sheets for the sofa bed were dirty.

There were a lot of extras in the house to make our comforts even better. All utensils on hand for making a quick meal as well.

That we had to leave.

Breakfast not provided, but we knew not to expect it. Kitchenette had great small appliances & dishes & silverware. All the kitchen appliances worked fine (microwave, stove, coffeemaker, etc). Impressive deck, grill & furniture and fire ring area!

Shower temperature difficult to adjust. Bathroom door sticks & made noise to shut it, as well as had an annoying squeak that woke people up in night. Suggest extra mirror in bedroom and living area, so someone in areas besides bathroom had access to a mirror. Would have liked a box of kleenix available. Regular size dining chairs would be better not everyone can use bar height chairs. Best use for 1 couple, 4 adults was a little crowded.
