Not as advertised. No lounge. Shared bathroom and kitchen. Bed not comfortable as you can feel the springs. Difficult to park. Wouldn't stay again.

Awful dirty accommodation stank of smoke, dirty carpets. Next to a busy main road. No heating and hot water when I informed him of this I was told it was out of his hands and I couldn't get a refund. Avoid at all costs

quite a depressing place to stay but was convenient to airport so suited for what we needed.

whilst I could see the airport and 600 yds away it was a 20 minute walk to the airport which was not ideal for a young girl travelling on her own

The temperature in room, a couldn't make a shower, cold water, no cafeteria for best,

Excellent location - we stayed here the night before a very early flight from Southend airport, which was only a 15 minute walk away. The hotel was easy to find, the front door is just to the side of a cafe and the key was in a secure lockbox outside. Our room was nice and big, with a sofa, table and TV.

The pillows could do with updating as they were a little lumpy. The noise from the road is quite loud but this obviously cannot be helped, I would recommend wearing earplugs if you are a light sleeper!

It had a lota, to wash your backside

First of all there was 3 remote controls and none worked 1 for tv, 1 for sky box, 1 for dvd box, so I rang the host got no answer text the host on Booking. Com no reply so sat looking at the walls all night, 07:50am the host texts and says i just seen your message I will get the cleaner to sort it out ???? Hello what about me who just payed around £46 to stare at the walls no apology no partial refund, I sent the host a message and photos but got no reply he’s got the money who cares about the guest ??? The photos are of the bathroom there was like skin or something in the bath so had to wash the bath out also the fan hasn’t been cleaned for ever and the cob webs around the ceiling of the bathroom, my bedroom door had more repairs than god knows what you had to slam it closed every time you came in very irritating,

Facilities were excellent, large very comfy bed, kitchen so well equipped, very friendly and helpful landlord

Nothing great value for money

Could have been cleaner and asked for fresh towels as stayed x2 nights was told no as covid no staff .

Fabulous value for money, will definitely book again on my next visit to Southend.
