Thank you Susan and Rob for a fantastic stay! This beach house has everything you need and more for a week long stay with your family. Plenty of space for 10 people. We did not find one thing wrong and believe me, we looked! Communication with Susan was excellent before, during, and after! Hopefully we can make this trip an annual event. If we do, we will certainly book this place again!

Enjoyed our stay. The outdoor pool was great! Access to the beach was fantastic. Unfortunately, the hot tub was not usable during our stay. Some minor issues with ceiling fans in a couple of the bedrooms.

Our family of 4 adults and 3 kiddos (15, 12 & 7) had a great time. The beautiful and large house had enough room for all of us and then some! When we couldn’t get outside and use the amazing heated pool and jacuzzi, The 2 living rooms were a WIN for both parents and kids. The house is well equipped with everything that you need for cooking, hitting the beach and game nights! Great communication with the hosts too! Thank you for a great week!

Our stay was very good because of the location and amenities of the house such as location on the beach, pool, hot tub, 5 Bedrooms, well stocked full kitchen. There were a lot of little things that needed attention that were just annoying but didn't greatly impact our stay. Ran out of gas so no heated pool for couple days; Hot Tub continually needed filling (may be a leak?); couldn't get living room fireplace to work; no water in the water water cooler system, also outdated water filter in the fridge so no good filtered water; battery in CO sensor died so had to remove it, reported and not replaced; door in master bedroom won't latch and stay closed; toilet in master BR runs; lightbulb in 2nd floor BR ceiling fan light was burned out. Overall, we were comfortable but house, bikes, etc. are a little dated and needs some attention to detail to make it great.

We really enjoyed this property. The beach location was amazing. We had some pretty awful weather during our stay but it did not dampen our spirits. We used the pool and hot tub almost every day. We were a multi generational group and we all found the space comfortable and inviting. Discovered many small local restaurants and shops that were lots of fun.

The location, cleanliness and amenities couldn't be better. Unfortunately, hurricane weather disrupted an absolute perfect week but in spite of those hiccups, I highly recommend this property.

Great week and weather at the beach. Very well kept and comfortable that made us feel like we were at home. We like the south Nags Head area and this is very close to everything, including Fish Heads. The oceanfront views are amazing from this home. We found paradise!

Great location on the beach, pictures are fairly accurate but the experience really was diminished because the owner was traveling internationally and was unreachable by voice. Because of the time difference wherever they were traveling, we did exchange texts hours after the issues we had were observed. The most annoying issues were silverfish on the first floor (owner denied this despite pictures) and intermittent electrical outage on one wall of the third floor (where the internet router is located). The text from the owner indicated it was due to a widespread outage in the area but there were no such outages in the first six days of the rental. A vexing short of some kind was going on and it caused unpredictable connection to the internet. A call to VRBO help line resulted in the reply that the owners were traveling internationally. The owner found out I had called the help line and texted me, questioning me as to why I had called the VRBO "complaint" line. I pointed out I was not complaining, just trying to get help, which never came. Great location, disagreeable host.

We had a wonderful time at this house. It was centrally located to stores and restaurants and had so much to offer. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen, bath and beach towels, surf boards, chairs and so much more.. they even had drink coozies to use. We fully enjoyed the use of the pool and hot tub and the BEACH with spectacular views. The owners were easy to reach and very responsive. I would recommend this vacation.

Our family truly enjoyed staying in Outer Banks! Susan was excellent in her communication to me. Her home was clean,fully stocked , lots of amenities, being on the beach was fantastic especially with two teenage granddaughters! We would definitely be back😁

If you are looking for a top notch stay, look no further! This is a beautifully maintained and very clean house. They are fully stocked with everything you could possibly need from an amenities perspective. They even had baby/toddler items - it was great to not lug a high chair/booster seat down in addition to the massive amount of toys in our trunk! The heated pool was an added bonus as we arrived the week after storms so it would have been a bit cold! The owners were extremely responsive and you can tell they want you to enjoy your stay!

Could not ask for a better location in OBX! Easy travel up and down the coast. The house was beautiful and comfortable. Lots of space for family to spread out. Take note that the kitchen, one bedroom and living area are on the third floor accessed by stairs. You do get your steps in for sure. Private access to the beach with the beach not overcrowded. Look for dolphins when sitting on the deck -- they were plentiful, Short walk to the Pier with great food and beautiful views. Would highly recommend for your OBX visit.

House was in a fantastic location- in Nags Head but it's South so it's away from all the busy traffic. The pier and Fish Heads restaurant are so close and convenient. Beds were super comfortable and house was very quiet at night. Loved the sunrise views in the morning from the 3rd floor family room. Lots of chairs for the beach and towels for the pool. We would rent again!

Having ever been to Nags Head in the shoulder season we were wary about it t being too cold for the beach. We really wanted to stay Oceanside with a heated pool. Mandevilla’s pool was so great, we enjoyed it every day. A nor’easter came in our first two and a half days which blew a TON of sand off the dune into the pool, and the pool cleaner came quickly after the wind died down without being asked. This a listing is right on the beach- we loved walking up the steps and down a very small hill to sit and watch the waves. The house has chairs, sand toys, boogie boards, everything the kids could have wanted. The towels for the pool/beach were great. We could walk to Fisheads and felt like we were close to anything we could have needed. Loved staying here and would really love to come back.

We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend this property for your next vacation. The owners were great with communication and the house is even better in person. All rooms are equipped with bedding, towels, and TVs and we found the beds to be very comfortable. We loved waking up to watch the sunset on the upper deck and spent our days lounging by the pool and ocean. Chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, surf boards, pool floats, and bikes are all provided. Everything you need is near by from grocery stores to fun eating options. We shopped at the Fresh Market and ate at Noosa Beach Grill (amazing tuna bites), Fish Heads (short walk down the beach on the pier), Millers Waterfront, and purchased a steamed crab boil from Whalebone Seafood Market. We would highly recommend all of these dining options. Already planning to book again!!

Great for family but started poorly as house was left unlocked by cleaners because the lock was broken, initially told you will not be burgled, just leave it open when you leave for dinner??? Owner brought one key next day which did not work well as door was warped. First person that sat on porch chair hit head when rotted chair collapsed. Called owner who removed chair. Owner needed to replace one shower head as it leaked. Another shower did not drain so he needed to come and snake out drain. Many wooden beach chairs were broken, needing replacement. Discussed all of this with owner who blamed the cleaners for not telling them and stated that previous renters should have complained. As we spent over $10,000.00 for the week, I expected the owner would have done the maintenance before we showed up. Besides this we had a great time, the Outer Banks is lovely, and we made some great memories.

Home is in better than the average rental condition, with many more amenities. We always pay the difference for beach front, and were not disappointed with the the property. We would have liked to have been informed however that beach front restoration project for this area was scheduled for this week, and the beach was closed more than half the week. We dragged wagons and coolers down the sidewalk a half mile to a public access beyond the work zone to the beach. Our neighbors said their renter called and informed them several months earlier. Other than that communication lapse, I recommend the this place.

We enjoyed our stay at the house. Great location, and the pool was a big hit with everyone. Lots of stuff to use at the beach or pool. Some of the beds were a bit soft for our liking but that's just our personal preference.

Our family stayed at Susan and Rob's beautiful home in Nags Head. Plenty of space for all of us to not be on top of one another. You have a pool, hot tub & beach right there for you. It is in walking distance to the Pier which was super fun! They also provide plenty of bikes which is nice because there is a ton of places you can take a shirt ride to. Great place to stay & we will be renting here again.

Quiet yet close to everything. Fish heads Bar and Grill and pier were a short walk away from the house. House was roomy, clean and inviting.

This house was great! Right on the beach and a large heated pool as a bonus. The owners provided everything you need for a fun beach vacation - pool toys, beach toys, beach towels, etc. And even though we didn’t take advantage of them, there were a bunch of bicycles for cruising around. It was fabulous! The only thing I would mention to potential guests is to be prepared to buy more supplies if you’re there for more than a few days. The bathrooms were only stocked with one roll of toilet paper (and one bathroom didn’t have any), there was only one roll of paper towels in the kitchen, only a couple of dishwasher pods, and no laundry detergent. That’s fine for getting started or only being there a short time, but with a larger group (6 in our family) you tend to go through things like that quickly. I’m not saying this as a negative necessarily- just something to be aware of. All in all, the house was clean, in a quiet and safe area that conveniently located. And the view can’t be beat! We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed recently on spring break and had a wonderful time! We LOVED the heated pool and hot tub and amazing beach. The house was very comfortable and clean and had a great layout. The whole family had fun -- ages 1 to 41. Highly recommend!

Brought our family of 4 to Nags Head for our daughter’s spring break and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Was nervous about the weather in April, but the heated pool and private beach access provided a wonderful mix of options so you didn’t feel like you had to commit to a full day in one spot after hauling your toddler there. The kitchen was outfitted incredibly well—glasses, tumblers, pots, pans etc. galore and plenty of seasonings. I was very impressed having been to other rentals with sparse kitchenware. Took just minutes to get to a store for anything you forgot, and we took advantage of the walking distance to Fish Heads a few times. Our kids could not have had a better time, and I’m so thankful we were able to make memories at Susan’s beautiful and perfectly located beach getaway.

We feel very lucky that we found this property after sorting through the hundreds of options for our first visit to the OBX! It was exactly as described… gorgeous views, fully stocked house, heated pool and hot tub and quiet low key area in Nags Head. We had 5 adults and 2 kids that had plenty of space to either spread out and do our own thing or come to together comfortably for dinner and games. The views are spectacular. The kids loved seeing all the wildlife (tons of different types of birds, dolphins and crabs) and I didn’t miss a sunrise that wasn’t gorgeous. It was an easy walk down to the fishing pier too! Susan was a wonderful host and the house is well appointed and felt truly like a home for the week. We enjoyed exploring the OBX area with the kids. We visited Roanoke Island, the Aquarium, the Lost Colony, the Wright Brothers memorial and the Wild Horse Safari in Corolla. It was a very memorable stay. We will be back! Thanks Susan!

We had two families (4 adults, 6 kids) stay here Thanksgiving week. We lucked out with good weather, but absolutely loved the property. The beach is so close, we enjoyed watching the waves/dolphins/surfers throughout the day. Kids were in the heated pool & hot tub a ton. The house had everything we needed, the owners were 5 star - helpful, great comms, laid back but available should we need anything. Walking distance to Fish Heads was a nice bonus. Bonfires each night we could were another highlight. Thanks for having us!

We were super excited to have found our Nag’s head VRBO vacation rental. The house was wonderful, clean, fully equipped, and accommodating all of our needs. The downstairs area comes with full complement of weights and full living quarters. The 2nd floor with three bedrooms and two bathrooms leads to a perfect outdoor deck space which we used as an office when needing a quiet spot. It's a great evening relaxation area, with its own exit from the house to the pool, Jacuzzi, and beach access. The top floor is a combined fully equipped kitchen, living room, dining area, and media space fully connected to all streaming services. We also found a great assortment of spices and condiments to add to our meals. The top outdoor deck provided a fantastic view of the beach where we were able to watch the dolphins and the waves rolling in. A world class barbecue on this top level deck makes it very easy to prepare dinners and enjoy them with the beach views. The sumptuous living room area, features a spacious, wall mounted TV, every possible streaming service is ready to go, and one remote does it all. No need to hunt around for those pesky Bluetooth cables, our iPhones found the TV’s Google Chrome link, streaming our Spotify favorites instantly. The house comes with even more! Boogie boards, a dozen bikes, beach games, and we can’t fail to mention, an amazing hot tub, yes, a hot tub which can hold 4 just fine. Oh by the way, there is a pool. Yes, let’s just add more to your holiday fun, a pool! The pool is heated to a very comfortable level. Perfect for late night swimming. We relaxed nightly in the “Kings and Queens tub” as we called it. And let’s not forget, just a short beach walk, minutes away from South Nags Head pier with a wonderful outdoor restaurant, amazing food and a large selection of local draft beers. We made sure not to miss out on the .15 cent shrimp specials during Happy Hours. The house comes with an easy private entry to the beach - endless white beaches stretching to the distant horizon, white caps and breaking waves rounding out your views. We were lucky enough to see pods of dolphins, dancing among the whitecaps. We can go on and on about how much we enjoyed our time at this house, and are happy to share our unbridled enthusiasm for Susan’s and Rob’s very special place. The owners were wonderful, very responsive to any questions we had. We enjoyed our time and will definitely return. Sure you will have a great time too!

It was a wonderful week , there were a few small maintenance things ( the fan in the upstairs bedroom was off balance and wobbled making noise while trying to sleep , and a few loose boards on the deck ) , and trying to figure out all the different tv controls for the different bedrooms , but overall a great stay and experience .
