Super comfortable cottage. Hans met us as we arrived and gave us some great tips on places to see in Roros. He was very friendly and made sure that we had all that we needed. Beds were comfortable, the living room was great, and the cottage had a lovely atmosphere.

God atmosfære og sentral beliggenhet.
Stedet trenger en grundig hovedrengjøring hvor innredning, vinduer, vegger, tak og gulv vaskes. Spesielt dusj på badet og kjøkkeninnredning med komfyr trenger rengjøring. Sofa må støvsuges og gulvet må vaskes under sofaen.
Asjetter og glass må suppleres og noen har skår.
Stikkontakt til elbil stemmer ikke med annonsen. Det er en vanlig elkontakt på yttervegg som er for langt unna p-plass til å kunne brukes.

Excellent location!! Overall fair accommodation.
Beds could have been better, and perhaps different pillows to choose from. Kitchen, bathroom and living room could have had some more light. Wifi worked occasionally - on some devices, one at a time.

This was a lovely and spacious place to stay. The living room is very cozy with a big sofa and fireplace. There is a lovely seating area outside where we enjoyed our breakfasts. The kitchen has everything you need and also a dishwasher and hot air oven. The bathroom was modern and clean with both a washer and dryer which was very convenient.
The cabin is also in the middle of the historic old town, which is quite unique and all sights (and shops) are within walking distance (also about 12min walk from the station and it is easy to find). The cabin itself is also a building with a long history. We had a great stay and made beautiful bike tours in the area (Møllmannsdalen and Storwartz).

This is a lovely house in the old part of Røros, quiet, and set back a short distance from the road (which has little traffic anyway). The interior is modern and at very high standard. The pictures do the accommodation justice, the living room is really spacious. The house has floor heating and was warm when we arrived. In addition, for cozy evenings, there is a woodstove to use. It is a short walk to the centre of the town or to cross-country skiing tracks. We really enjoyed our winter stay here.
We thought the rent rather steep. We would prefer an all-in price, not separately having to pay for bedding and towels. Cleaning level was mixed, bathroom was really clean, but the kitchen counter top not and the living room had glittery and pine traces of Christmas times. Keep in mind that in winter parking is on the street, but we had no issue finding a place.

We have been hotelier for 20 years with the Ritz Carlton and Burj Al Arab. So speaking of guest expectation, experience and rustic to modern luxurious properties. We know what we want and how we wanted it😉. It just now after our European holiday came to an end and we are thankful we had the opportunity to spend our Christmas this year with Svenskveien 23b. To be totally honest we haven’t left the property and we booking it already next year lol. So, when we arrived our host Mr Hans is very accommodating and shown us the beautiful cabin, cozy, warm but yet modern equipment from the kitchen to guest rooms and bathroom. In hotel terms it’s like our home away from home. He provided us Christmas tree, cross country skis, sled for the children and direction on close-by ski tracks. He went out of our way to become Santa as well which is very heart warming and meaningful for my kids. Funny and warm character. The view and feel from the house is like your inside in a winter village you see on Macy’s or Harrods during the holiday but you’re just it. Well I can’t wait to spend our holiday again with Mr hans and his family! Five ⭐️ 🎅🏼
