The scenery is fantastic with wonderful views all around the property. This home is decorated with much thought and great taste. The kitchen is stocked with everything you can imagine for cooking better than any home I’ve vacationed in before. All the light switches are labeled which was very helpful. Beautiful vacation home.

There are 5 of us between the ages of 63 and 85, (this year) who have traveled annually for many years. Buttercup Haven was our best house yet. We had fantastic beds and bathrooms, great kitchen with everything one needs, outdoor seating for the full experience of the porches. And on and on…Franklin was close for groceries, the trash dump or gas. Margaret communicated well and even had a booklet with all information needed. Thanks so much for your lovely house!

I'm hesitant to share the secret that is this property because it's such a magical spot - beautiful home, beautiful location, deeply relaxing. Margaret was a kind and communicative host, the home was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the location couldn't be beat. You will not regret your stay here.

Stayed here with our family over spring break and had a great time. The property is immaculate, has great views, is perfect for families, and has very nice amenities including the hot tub and fire place, which we used every day. This side of the mountains is slower paced but that was perfect for us as there is still plenty to do and the area isn't overdeveloped with cheesy tourist stuff. We had a very minor issue with the door code at check in and the host was super responsive and very nice. 10/10 would recommend this place.

Our women's hiking group found this house to be perfect in every way. Besides all the special touches throughout this beautiful house, we loved the mountain views in 3 directions, especially enjoyed the views from the hot tub including the lights of Franklin down below. The large dinning room table was great for shared meals and game nights and as an added bonus we enjoyed a beautiful sunset during dinner. The sleeping arrangements were perfect and the house is so open and roomy, each room offered privacy and enough separation everyone had plenty of space. We truly hope to be back soon!

Buttercup Haven is a beautiful home and we enjoyed our stay so much. Margaret stayed in touch with me throughout the process and answered any questions promptly. She even checked to make sure we arrived safely. I highly recommend renting this home to anyone looking for a great rental home that is wonderfully maintained and in a beautiful setting.

Buttercup Haven is a beautiful mountain home. The pictures do not do this property justice. The views are breathtaking and the home was extremely beautiful. The home is stocked with anything you could possibly need but the grocery store and restaurants are a short 10/15 minute drive away. We did not want to come home. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The view just at the corner of the house was panoramic and breathtaking. Enter the door and you didn't know where to look first. The gorgeous, beautifully appointed home with everything that you could ever ask for provided for your comfort and practical needs, or the 270 degree panoramic views that made you gasp. But let me be specific: The kitchen: a cook's dream! Well organized as well as stocked with family friendly dishes, adequate pots and pans, and utensils. The living area: Comfortable seating in several spots for dining or playing games, glass walled doors that brought those beautiful views to you at an eye lift. Large television to cover the whole living area so all could see and hear. Beautiful beams and architecture that left you wondering, "how did they do that?" The Bedrooms: Each with a different personality but the same in comfort, luxurious bedding, and space. Bathrooms: Interesting designs in each one and more than adequate towels provided. Downstairs: two game room type places for kids to have a ball or sleep. Laundry room: Modern appliances--so appreciated. Porches: we wore them out. All of us, young to old, loved being out there to drink in the views, drink coffee, have a meal, soak in the wonderful hot tub. We have stayed in a lot of cabins and this one exceeded our expectations. We felt welcomed and cared for by the owner even though we never met. It just doesn't get any better than this, and the property owner is a dream to work with! She made our anniversary trip so special in many ways. You don't feel like you are in a rental -- you feel like you are her personal house guest. No matter which way you turn, the views from any side of the home are stunning.
