online check in didn't work and wasted an hour to get access code. Forced to download Booking.com app which didn't do squat to help. No air conditioning. Drapery rods need silicone, hard to open and close.

No Air Conditioning despite general description of the property saying it has it. Intentionally deceptive, only certain rooms have AC so beware! Frustrating check-in process, code did not work. Lucky we had phone data to contact the property.

We weren’t able to open the door when we came back in the evening. The lock clicked but the door didn’t budge.

Location was great for sightseeing. Stylish, large, clean apartment. Use of luggage lockers was great.

I would pay more for a higher level apartment so that I felt comfortable leaving windows open for a breeze, as there wasn't air conditioning.

This was a cute apartment and a good value right next door to a beautiful lookout point. Communication was excellent. Kitchen large.

The sofas in the living room were low to the ground. Guessing it might be an issue for older people.

Excellent location right in the heart of Alfama. Nice size room and bathroom. Additional use of a locker next door was much appreciated.

The property is serviced only by remote messages and codes by text. There is no one available to answer a phone call if there’s a problem. The issuing of the codes was not clear and messages were not answered straight away. The area is very busy and noisy so this should be noted by people wanting to stay in this property.

This was a great location very close to the Castle and Santa Luzia viewpoint where there was a lovely bar to enjoy the views. The room was very well maintained and spotlessly clean. Had everything we needed 🙂

The apartment could use a counter top in the bathroom to put toiletries. We had to put our items on the floor

bathroom was lovely and big and the shower was incredible! The room was decorated in traditional Portuguese style which added to the short trip.

The bed was really really hard.

Heat was broken. ( one thin blanket) Bathroom sink was plugged. Shower handle hit me on the head as it could not attach. Wifi broken. Had to book another place in the middle of the night.

Situated in the best part of the city! Very close to the main spots and restos. I appreciate that they provide lockers to store our bags, in our case, after check out that’s why we were still able to go around the city easily. Thank you for that. Owner was very responsive and helpful.

Windows are difficult to open, we just had it closed during our entire stay. I will appreciate it if we can have them open for ventilation and fresh air. Main door sometimes plays up as well and difficult to open. Otherwise, all good.

Security, the PIN for the front door, apartment and luggage room were all the same, which suggests that anyone with a door code can access all the apartments within too. The motion sensitive lighting only comes on when you're partway up the stairs in the entrance hall, then blindingly bright, quite dangerous. Also there was no handrail - we chose a ground floor apartment to avoid steps due to mobility issues, so steps without a handrail was challenging. The bathroom door had no lock, and didn't even latch shut, so would not stay fully closed unless wedged with whatever we could find to use as a doorstop.

Wonderful stay. Good communication, easy check in and clean apartment with everything needed such as tea and coffee . The location was perfect and the room really charming. Highly recommend this stay !

The bathroom was a bit empty. With nothing to hang our towels. The soap x shampoo was a bit basic.

Amazing location - 2 minutes walk to Castelo de Jorge and so many scenic views. The hosts were quick in responding.

It’s located higher up in the area so prepare for alot of steep hills. we had a few entry issues both into the building and the room due to the tall old doors and key system. The room was very small, with the bathroom almost as large as the room. More than one luggage per person would be too much. We walked right into the bed when you enter and the position of the bed under the cove was a bit dangerous (hit my head once). We repositioned the bed and it was safer and gave us more entry room. There is no phone or TV (it wasn’t listed but we did miss the TV when we had a rainy day).

Great location. Easy check-in process. The staff was responsive and accommodating. The rooms were very cute and cleaned/stocked daily with coffee/tea and other necessities.

The room didn't have enough hooks to hang towels. And also to note, the AC doesn't work in the winter (Lisbon can have quite sunny days in the winter so some may want AC). The building does not have a lift so if you have a difficult time with stairs, make sure to stay on the bottom floor. The particular room we had didn't have a desk for a laptop so double check if you're a digital nomad.
