Szilvia made a very good breakfast. Tasty and delicisous every morning. She is a lovely host and the Art Retreat is super central and well equipped.

The breakfast was nice. I had hoped for a full Irish but that was not on offer. However, there was lovely fresh bread, pastries, cheese, fruit, tea and coffee etc. The location was excellent, right in the centre of Clifden. There was parking underneath the complex. The apartment was on the second floor, and there was a lift. The host was very friendly and chatty. We both enjoyed our stay very much.

I would have liked the traditional Irish breakfast, as we were self-catering the rest of the holiday, but in the end I was happy with the variety on offer.

Lovely upstairs apartment in the heart of Clifden town. Very cosy homely place

Nice complex in the middle of a beautiful town. Good bed. Great shower. Fantastic breakfast. Nice hostess. Beautiful view. Little noise of the town. Patio to sit outside in the complex. Elevator but that was out of order. Parking in the complex saving parking fees till 6pm.

Bed is a bit small.

Szylvia is a wonderful host. The room is huge and so is the ensuite bathroom and shower. Breakfast was continental and lovely fresh produce. Location is excellent, bang in centre of Clifden and pubs and restaurants literally around the corner. Szylvia is also a very talented artist and all the artwork in the home is her own, she is a gifted lady. Will most definitely try to stay here with the mother of dragons when next in Clifden.

Lovely home and very nice hostess

What a lovely surprise in so many ways! Szilvia was an exceptional host and an incredibly interesting, strong spirit. She is so inspiring. During my little stay, we had hours of fantastic conversation. The bedroom was beautiful and very spacious. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the chaise longue. It was nice that there was a little furry friend around (a kitty). There is a wide range of books on fascinating subjects in the lovely sitting room. The place is clean, welcoming, comfortable and restful. Breakfast was generous and delicious. The location was very convenient and the view was great from the bedroom windows. Oh, and the artwork is stunning - made all the more stunning as they are by the lady of the house.

There's no swimming pool :-P We got along so well that I stayed up way past my bed time - which can be seen as both a good and a bad thing, depending how one looks at it. My stay was too short. I can't afford a longer stay right now but would definitely recommend to anyone who can. The retreats sound brilliant but again out of my current price range. Also would be nice if there were more rooms so you could go in a group of a few friends. Having said that, the bedroom is huge and so is the double bed so it might be feasible.
