Great location close to Trevi Fountain and many good restaurants. The bed was comfortable and the unit has air conditioning. The room was made up everyday and the attendant was very accommodating.

The website picture is totally deceptive. Finding the entrance to Trevi Portrait is not easy. There is no one there to help you. It was extremely difficult to contact the owner and the email address listed on the signage is incorrect. The code to the entry door took multiple attempts. Inside the entrance on the first floor there are four rooms. Our room was very small. in addition, the headboard has holes in it, one side lamp was dangling, the bathroom had sections on the wall that were peeling, and only one of the side lamps worked. it is the most expensive and disappointing places we have ever stayed in during our many travels abroad. We do not recommend it.

Great location. Check in is at the main hotel, but full details are given on the email booking confirmation. We stayed in room 3 and had no problem with cold showers as mentioned in other comments. Hairdryer, toiletries, fridge and tea/coffee making facilities all available. Small Co-op just across the road. Would recommend.

Some guests didn’t close the main door securely leading to the apartments.

Shower is in the bedroom! Very strange. The blanket given was filthy dirty, they took two requests to get a clean one, they didn't refill toilet paper and tried to get us to wait overnight for refill but I insisted they bring it to us when we got home. They gave us coffee pods that didn't work in the machine. You have to walk to another address to pickup keys and checkout as well. There was no view. Nowhere to hang towels, the surfaces seemed all to be sloping down such that your stuff rolled off. Bed was firm.

Close proximity to the main attractions.

The location was perfect. We could walk everywhere and see the sites of Rome. The only feedback I can give, is for there to be more mention that the check-in is not at the room. Other than that this place was perfect!! I will definitely be there again.

this is not a hotel but a Airbnb and checking is not on-site. it was a hassle to check in and out. The one person on site only spoke Italian and wasn’t very helpful. They didn’t clean our room everyday and they were supposed to include breakfast but nothing was provided. I would not stay here again.

Location and comfortable bed.

This hotel is a pure scam. There is no other way to describe it. We have stayed in for 2 nights and were surprised to see the shower was located next to the bed, instead of inside the toilet. Despite of the odd location, the icing on top of the cake was when we realized there was no hot water! We called the hotel and nobody picked up. Left several messages and no reply. In the following day, hotel replies saying there is nothing they can do, since it’s a holiday in Italy, all hotels are fully booked and plumbers don’t work. On top, they say there was a network issue in central rome, and phones did not work. When checking on Booking and TripAdvisor, other clients report the same issue (cold water and no reply), since 2019! Of course there is an underlying issue that the hotel does not care to solve and keep on selling these rooms despite of the complains. Long story short, 3 days taking (very) cold showers and no solution from the hotel. I’m giving 3/10 evaluation because the location is actually good and the bed is comfortable. Apart from this, pure scam where the management leaves receptionists to handle clients’ anger when they are the least responsible for this mess.
