The place was really nice. Garbage disposal didn’t work. The couch could be replaced and the 2 beds in back bedroom were very squeaky. But overall the place was great

The condo itself was as described, very functional for a family. The floors were disgusting and none of the pools were heated (The ad listed one as heated). Walking away with those being my big cons, I feel like that is a win. Me and my family would absolutely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. There were a couple of issues in the master bedroom. There was no covering on the window but this issue was fixed promptly, but we were not able to access the sliding door to go out on to the patio from the master, which was disappointing. My husband was very happy and loved it, and this let’s me know I did good in booking this for his 60th birthday.

Plenty of space for 9 of us. Room was gorgeous and clean. Multiple pools/spas is a plus, however there is no restroom down by the pool area, so you have to go all the way back to your room. Only "negative" regarding the location is you're not within walking distance of anything, but most everything you need is a short 5-10 min drive away.

The property needs to be maintained better. The overall cleanliness of the property is getting worse - this was our second time staying here and probably will not in the future due to this. There was drywall torn off in the kitchen that was not repaired. Bathrooms need updated, along with bedrooms. Floors were filthy!!

This place was very convenient, spacious, clean. It was easy check in and check out. Temperature control was great. However, there were things that I would have expected that this place lacked. For instance, there are 5 bedrooms, each with TV’s, but none of the TV’s work. There is no cable hooked up to any tv except in the living room and they were not smart TV’s that we could use our Netflix accounts with. The two TVs that were smart TVs didn’t allow streaming tv apps due to guest wifi restrictions. I had to hotspot my phone. Why bother having TV’s if they don’t work? There were no extra garbage bags, so after we threw out the first garbage bag, we were on our own. There were only enough towels for each person to use ONE. And there was one pack of laundry detergent so washing towels was on us to buy detergent. Also, the couches in the living room and the patio are so uncomfortable it was painful. It is right on the beach, close to everything, the view is beautiful. Depending on the experience you are looking for, this place could be awesome or lacking. Small things like the sliding door being extremely difficult to unlock, the shade in the bedroom was broken, the drawers in the bedroom fall out when you pull them out, one of the lamps on the bedside table didn’t work. Just small things that add up to annoyances that you don’t want/need on a vacation. Heated pool was nice. And being right on the beach was also very nice.

Was very disappointed with the condition of this Condo Unit. Every mattress was old and squeaky! Living room furniture had stains and carpet was old and dirty. Outdoor patio furniture was old, stained and ripped! Beach umbrella was broken so we bought 3 new ones, beach chairs were dirty and rusted so we purchased 3 and left them there . The laundry room was so disgusting not cleaned before we came , master bath toilet was dirty , bath tub faucet leaked, drawers were broken …… For the amount of money we paid to stay there with my family and the only vacation this year it was not worth it. Only reason I even avg 2 stars was because the pool area and outdoor landscaping was pretty and was neat and taken care of. Would not recommend this unit to anyone unless a total remodel was done . I would fire the agency who is supposed to clean it as well. They only do the basics if you call it that. Horrible!

It is conveniently located on the third floor only one floor up from parking, It's easy to take the steps when the elevator is busy. All of the beds need to be replaced. They are uncomfortable and noisy to the point of waking you up if you move in the night. The living area furniture is very comfortable but needs to be either cleaned or replaced. The deck furniture needs new cushions. There is a huge stuffed teddy bear in one of the closets that needs to disappear. One of the other closets was full of paint supplies and unusable. The kitchen is very well appointed and the rental company is very responsive.There is a full size laundry which is very nice. There were also some beach toys in the unit. The pools are great and the beach is not too crowded. This was our second year and we are looking forward to returning next year (hoping for new beds--hint, hint).

The condo itself needs some maintenance work and some overall updating. All mattresses except the primary need to be replaced. New linens and blankets are needed for all beds. The balcony needs a complete refresh with new "carpeting" and new furniture - it is currently all broken and torn/missing cushions. I strongly recommend that starter items for the kitchen be included - salt/pepper, perhaps a coffee/tea starter, foil/plastic wrap/trash bags and maybe some basic spices. The starters provided (toilet paper and one roll of paper towels) are inadequate especially given the high price for renting it. We had to call maintenance 3 times - heavily leaking kitchen sink, no heat in the dryer and broken drawers/door locks. Maintenance was very responsive but it's a waste of vacation time to manage repairs.

When we arrived the shade blind in the Living room over the sliding door was hanging down halfway without any means of getting it to go back up which made it mighty inconvenient to get to and from the balcony. We called it in, and someone showed up very quickly but all he did was removed it and not replace it with anything else, so we had a lot of sunlight coming through all day every day. The outdoor carpet flooring in the balcony has a big tear/hole in it. It clearly needs repairing since other than being an eyesore it could cause someone to trip and fall. Then there's the shade blind in the master bedroom which works fine during the day but at night when lights have to be turn on offered no privacy whatsoever anyone could see clearly into the room from outside. All other bedrooms had curtains and blinds but not the master. The lighting in the kitchen was very poor especially since there's no lighting over the stove which made it very hard to see inside the pots and pans while cooking, this aggravated all the cooks to no end. For the amount of money, we paid to stay at this property we certainly expected better. The condominium (Southwind)is fantastic. You can't beat its location, many pools and ocean front. Thats why I will come back to Southwind but not to this particular property.

We took our 4 adult children & their family’s on vacation. Positives-The unit was spacious, had plenty of room for our family of 13 and the condo was clean. The location was close to the airport & attractions. The grounds were taken care of and had exquisite landscaping. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of glassware, dishes and silverware. If you are a big family and cook like we do, the pots & pans selection is very minimal and you would do well to bring a large stockpot and electric griddle. The pools had plenty of chairs and lots of space to swim. We were told the indoor pool was heated. However, when we got there they had just taken the winter windows out and the indoor pool was not heated. Ceiling fans in all the bedrooms and living room made it nice. Master bedroom mattress was comfortable. Areas need improving-No clocks or even an alarm clock. Several of the beds squeaked horribly and the mattress were uncomfortable in those rooms. Several of the bedroom doors did NOT lock (a big issue). The master bedroom did NOT have drapes/curtains (only a see through blind). This was a major issue considering the porch wrapped around from the living room to the master bedroom. My husband and I had NO privacy. The sleeper sofa is old and the cushions sink in. The living room chairs are old and the backs are pulling apart at the seams. There were large gallons of paint in one of the closets & a large stuffed animal bear in another (creepy)! Overall we made things work and enjoyed our stay. With a little work, it could be an excellent property.

Our stay was exactly as we had hoped. Plenty of room for the eight of us, all the amenities were perfect. The only complaint would be the quality of the mattresses. Although they were comfortable, three of the five made so much noise our guests did not get quality sleep. Other than that, we would stay again.

The beds were rock hard with cheap bedding (sheets were cheap and uncomfortable) and the comforters and furniture looked and felt like they came from a discount store. The queen size beds were the smallest and hardest I have ever experienced. There were paint buckets in one of the closets. There was a huge teddy bear in another closet. Lack of blankets for the couch. The couch has a broken leg and cushions sink into the hide away bed. The appliances were not much better. The dishwasher took a 3 hour cycle or 3 regular cycles to clean the dishes. Washer and dryer were just ok. There was a mismatch of dishes and other kitchen items that looked like they came from a goodwill store. Overall, if it wasn't for the location, I would have asked to moved to another room.

Everything was nice will definitely stay with you guys again in the future.

The condo was perfect for our large family. Luxury Beach Rentals is always so good to us. We had a couple of very minor issues in our condo and LBR were quick to fix them. The condo was in a good location and we loved the porch area as we were right on the beach. There were a few minor maintenance concerns, however that did not ruin our trip. The beds squeaked and we had trouble with the shades. The kitchen was well stocked and we LOVED the Keurig!! It was a great week!

What a wonderful place. So roomy! This place has pretty much everything for your stay. Beach umbrella, chairs and toys provided. Linens and pillows, too. What a view. You are on the 3rd floor and are just over the tops of the trees, so there is a completely unobstructed view of the ocean/beach. The balcony is a wrap around, so there is even more to look at. The balcony off of one of the bedrooms gives you a good view of a parking garage and the parking lot, but we never used this one because the main balcony was the place to be. Watched so many sunrises and sunsets from here. Walk to the beach is so close. The pools and the hot tubs are wonderful, too, when you don't quite feel like swimming in salt water. The beach is clean and spacious (though, we went in October, so not tourist season). You can literally walk for miles along the beach. Quiet neighborhood and just a short drive to everything! Great restaurants and shopping. We went to the Pirates Voyage Dinner and Show. This is an absolute must! The entertainment is amazing and the food is wonderful. Too much food! Definitely needed that doggy bag. We also went to dinner at a haunted restaurant. Brentwood Restaurant & Wine Bistro. Such delicious food. Didn't see any ghosts, but such a wonderful history it has. The management staff were so quick to respond to all questions and concerns. So accommodating with my simple requests, too! Ample parking. Though the ramps up and down to the parking garage are pretty tight! Be careful if you have anything larger than a midsize car. We absolutely recommend staying at this place. We couldn't have been happier and we had such a great time.

My large family really enjoyed this unit. There is plenty of room. We found everything we needed. There were plenty of place settings, utensils and drink ware. Bathroom towels were plentiful. A few more kitchen towels and washcloths would be helpful. Appliances seem pretty new. The fridge was nice and big. There was lots of room on the beach and around the pools. The walk to the beach is not as long as it looks in the pics so that was great. Some of the beds were “noisy”—new cloth mattress covers would solve that problem. Overall, we thought it was a beautiful place and can’t wait to return.

Easy to rent on Vrbo, but their fee on top of the rental fee, cleaning,, administration, drove the price up to a small fortune! For that price, all of the patio furniture should have been unbroken. But 2 older chairs and a lounger were broken. There was also no functional large frying pan. The one pan there had a loose handle and cooked unevenly. The unit did comfortably hold 6 children and 3 couples in the 5 bedrooms, The front door lock didn’t work on and off and finally on the last night, the unit repair man talked one of the men into getting it to work. Location was perfect.
