Clean and warm room which was what was essential for us. Fantastic location. Breakfast has few options but food is very decent.

Very well situated, the breakfast was quite good and the coffee with the breakfast was also spectacular. Our room (triple) was super clean, as it was the bathroom.

Mattresses a bit soft for my taste, but not a big deal.

Super Lage, freundliches Personal, bequeme Betten. Dazu im Pub abends Live-Musik. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Mussten sehr früh zum Flughafen, es war kein Problem früher Frühstück zu bekommen.

The noise!!!! We were warned that it would be noisy until 2am but it was extremely noisy until 5am. Guests (drunk) were banging on doors in our corridor until 5am with no intervention from staff. It felt quite unsafe.

The location and the breakfast was great, the rooms were clean.

The staff wasn't very friendly and one of the two rooms we got was very small.

Great breakfast. Room was small but clean and the shower was good.

Not sure if this happens every weekend but there was live music playing under our room until approx 2am. Ear plugs took most of it but it was quite loud.

Talter Jack is a great place 2 stay Me and my friends stayed in a triple room which was spotless The breakfast had a great choice u could have a full Irish or scrambled egg with sausages or bacon very tasty couldn't fault the place the bar is below great entertainment and a great vibe 2 the place they seve food as well so u could have lunch or Yr dinner we stayed on a Thursday and the bar had a late opening didn't hear a thing from my room above Talter Jack is rite in the centre of the town near all restaurants pub and gift shops and the bus station so if Yr comin 2 Killarney I would recommend this place it was fab 10 out or 10 will be goin there again soon 😆🥳🥳🥳🤩🤩

The breakfast was amazing. The location first class very central. Pub downstairs had great entertainment.

Every time someone opened the downstairs door that linked to the pub it rattled our bedroom door like someone was hammering on it. Not fun when it’s early hours.

Great location right at the heart of town. We were warned it may be a little noisy at night as the room was over the bar and near a Main Street but it wasn’t an issue at all - we didn’t hear anything. The bed was very comfortable and the room had everything we needed. We loved walking around the neighborhood, with plenty of bars and restaurants just steps from the hotel.

The parking was hard to find as our GPS sent us in the wrong direction. We had to go in and ask for help (very helpful staff!) but it would be handy to have the exact post code for the car park in advance as there are a lot of closed/one-way streets to navigate.

From the time we set foot inside the staff were so welcoming and friendly. The young man who booked us in even carried out case up the stairs as I have difficulty. In the end I was sorry I did not book another night but the return train had already been booked but I will be back

Modern room in a central location with good breakfast.

The noise warnings did not go far enough. I expected some street noise and general city noise but in reality there was live music playing under my room until 2am both nights. Impossible to sleep or even watch TV. Staff (rather rudely) said that there was a warning in the confirmation email. However, the warning they referred to implied that the noise was from the street or other venues outside of TJ control. I have no issues with live music or noise but I think they should clearly state that live music will be played under your room and you will be unable to sleep or use your room until the bar closes.

How rude and argumentative the barman was when paying for the room. Although I had given my debit card details by paying through the card reader handed to me, the barman refused to give me the room key. He insisted that I should hand over my debit card so that he could read and record all of my card details onto his personal tablet computer. Being security conscious I said I didn’t want to hand him my card. He stood and argued with me, refusing to give me the key until we were forced to hand over a debit card although we had already paid. The room was expensive but tiny to the point where it was difficult for two people to pass anywhere in the room. There was no opening window in the room and it was hot, stuffy and claustrophobic. Although it was a weekday, music was pounding loudly in the downstairs bar until after 2.00a.m.
