Very nice place to stay! We stayed during the biker rally in Bandera.

This visit was a mixture of business and pleasure. It was a stressful work week at the hospital, and it was so nice to come back to such a relaxing place!! The views were breathtaking and really enhanced my Bible study time!! You just feel closer to God out there! The sounds of crickets… the stars at night… the back porch, the sunset…. And the large bathtub with massaging jets!!! Let me tell you… we loved it! Sooo clean and the hosts left pastries and coffee for us! Will definitely stay there again! And HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

The pics don’t do this remote little cabin justice. The farmhouse details are impeccable! The cleanliness was exceptional as well, and the added touches from the host/owner were very thoughtful and appreciated. We didn’t get to enjoy as much time outdoors as we would have liked due to the super windy weather, (and we forgot out jackets because it was 75 when we left home- haha- TEXAS!) but goodness, it was a perfect get away weekend with my husband! Much needed and we will definitely be back!!! This place is adorable and our only wish was that we would’ve booked it for longer ;)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this immaculate cozy cabin in the country. Deer watching from any view was amazing. It was quiet and relaxing. The host left yummy baked treats on the counter for our arrival. And the short drive through the hill country to town and to neighboring Fredericksburg was beautiful. Wish we could’ve stayed longer, will definitely come back!!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this cottage so much, we will definitely be back with our son to enjoy the loft next time. It was easy check in and to communicate with the owners, the property is private with his own driveway and parking spot, the cottage is the perfect amount of space for us, new, clean, and nicely decorated. The owner left us DELICIOUS pastries we thoroughly enjoyed, such a delightful and thoughtful touch! We saw deer, BBQd, watched movies and just relaxed on the porch with some wine & beer for the hubby. Thank you so much for a relaxing stay!

The cabin was just as described. It was perfect in every way imaginable. It was secluded and quiet. One of our highlights was watching the deer near the cabin in the mornings and evenings. Everything you need is provided. The host provided two different types of breakfast breads upon our arrival. Both of them were amazing. We would definitely rent this cabin again without hesitation.

Our long weekend in Comfort was just what my wife and I needed. The cabin suited our needs perfectly and we especially appreciated the bread and muffins that the host left for us. We enjoyed the peaceful setting and also enjoyed talking with the cows. Haha. We will definitely recommend this property to anyone we know who's looking for a hill country getaway.

My friends and I said we would book again just for the breakfast!! The danishes were absolutely some of the best I’ve ever had and they were only made more enjoyable by being able to sit out on the front porch with coffee and watch the deer graze. (The Corriente out front were enjoyable to watch as well!) We wanted something a little different than our normal Fredericksburg accommodations, and this did NOT disappoint. I think we had more fun exploring Comfort one evening than the rest of our jam packed weekend. Comfort was it’s own little gem with cute shopping and extra friendly staff at tastings we had in town. The hospitality was fantastic. 10/10 recommend!

This cabin is awesome! We had a great time with this place. It is by itself and has two fences around it to keep the two cows out. We will come back!

This was a perfect stay for me and my teenage sons! We enjoyed the atmosphere and being in the country! Thank you so much for the delicious breads that were made for us!

We stayed in this peaceful country cabin, for our 34th wedding anniversary. It was perfect! We made a last minute decision to reserve this place, yet when we arrived the yard was mowed, there were pastries waiting on the cabinet, and the cabin was sparkling clean. Everything we needed to just unwind on the porch, watch the deer and enjoy our coffee. We grilled steaks and ate at the picnic table. We would definitely recommend a stay in this uniquely decorated, serene cabin. If you can climb the ladder, there is plenty of room for four adults, or a sweet family of four. The bed and bedding was perfect, we slept great! We will stay here again, soon!

We can’t say enough about this wonderful cabin and our peaceful vacation here! The owners left us homemade cream cheese breakfast danishes (DELICIOUS!), which I enjoyed with the yummy coffee provided out on the wooden rocker at sunrise. It was heaven! There were deer grazing and lovely birds of many species. We took a breathtaking walk from the cabin through the hillside, enjoy all neatly manicured farms and antique farm equipment. There was a problem with the gate staying closed, but the owner quickly responded to our message and fixed the gate that day. The owner was so willing to accommodate us when we requested to stay a night longer; we loved their cozy cabin so much! The cabin was absolutely spotless! The bed was soft and comfortable. The soaker-jetted tub was gigantic, and just perfect to soak with some lavender bath soaks we purchased in Fredricksberg. We enjoyed a movie on the big screen TV with surround sound. The kitchen had everything we needed, even including my favorite creamer for coffee and lots of bottled water. We are so grateful the owners opened their lovely home to us for the weekend. We feel rested, happy and relaxed—ready to start our work week! We will be coming back again and again! FIVE STARS!!

We loved experiencing the quiet and natural beauty of Hill Country farm life in Comfort. Highly recommend this cabin to all who seek a relaxing break from city life! The owners keep the property clean and well maintained. And they provide tasty home-baked goods on arrival!

Comfort Cabin is absolute Hill Country perfection: Beautifully appointed Immaculately clean Pricelessly private Truly peaceful When we arrived the hosts had left us delicious banana nut band cranberry pistachio bread, and the cabin was beautiful and clean. We spent the entire week and we’re able to totally relax while enjoying all the wonderful Texas Hill Country has to offer. The bed was comfortable, and I slept like a baby all week. The kitchen is well-stocked with all the tools you need to cook — but don’t miss Comfort Pizza (call ahead to reserve your dough) and High’s in Comfort, not to mention all the fantastic food choices in Fredericksburg. My favorite thing about Comfort Cabin is its setting — bring your camera to capture memories of beautiful sunsets from the top of the drive. We also saw deer, birds, butterflies and rabbits — and so many stars at night! For its location in the Hill Country (my favorite place on earth) and for its privacy, cleanliness and the overall good feeling the cabin provides, I rate Comfort Cabin with six out of five stars, maybe seven out of five. Don’t miss it!

This was our second time to stay at this location. We like to stay a little outside of the main towns but not to far to drive and be somewhere in all directions. Place is big enough to have all we need. Very clean and comfortable.

This property was perfect for our weekend getaway! This place was private with a beautiful view. The deer come right up to the back no porch. The cabin was stocked with everything you may need. It is approximately a 25 minute drive from Main St. in Fredericksburg, but the drive is also beautiful with many places to stop on the way. Most importantly, this is the absolute cleanest cabin we have ever rented. Thank you for a great time.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this secluded, peaceful cabin! We appreciated the nice coffee & breakfast treats left for us as well! Cabin was like new and back porch was perfect for watching deer go by. Wonderful, sparkling clean house with a relaxing back porch. Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets and the bonus - getting to see the Milky Way each night! Plus, breakfast pastries on arrival - doesn’t get much better.

Drove down to enjoy the hill country roads for motorcycle riding. This was a great spot near the town of Comfort, but far enough away to feel secluded and not overrun by people on a holiday weekend. Great location to jump on many of the best motorcycle roads in the state. Cabin is great, outfitted very nicely with everything you could want. Host was very responsive to questions and feedback.

My daughter and I loved staying in this cabin. The owner left some delicious treats on the counter. The property is beautiful.
