It was cute and cheap and convenient and clean
A lot of the furniture was damaged and there were scam email sent before hand which meant it was hard to tell which were genuine so online check in was difficult and we struggled for a long time to get through to anyone on the phone for help
Also the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable

The location was easy for getting back into the City Centre and close to a large Sainsbury's, which was helpful when we didn't have any bedding provided for the sofa bed. Apart from real issues with the hot water and bedding (see more below), its quite a nice flat, though the sofa bed isn't that comfy. The key safe system worked well, then outside steel steps up to the first floor main entrance prior to the flat door. That main door was very heavy to open. All OK if your mobile. Lastly, as it was hot, all the windows did open well, but the bathroom one couldn't be left open as it was onto the outside stairs landing, which we wanted to keep open as we couldn't turn off the heated towel rail as the heating had to stay on to have hot water. Good windows for fresh air in the second floor attic space lounge, but we couldn't lock the first floor bedroom sash windows, so potentially a bit of a security issue. Good to have free parking in the street outside, though its a fairly messy area with lots of litter. The kitchen was well appointed with all you might need. It was also all clean.
Hot Water Issues:
On arrival we found there was no hot water - and we now see there have been hot water issues in prior reviews. After swapping emails, they asked us to fix the boiler ourselves, with a video about pressurizing it. That they knew low water pressure may be the issue and had a link to a video ready, suggests this is a long term issue they aren't fixing. The boiler then only worked on a heating and hot water combined option, not hot water only. We're not sure how safe it is to be asking guests to do maintenance of a gas boiler with what seem to be issues the owner already knows about. I'm technically moderately competent, but a paying guest should not have to work on a boiler.
Bedding Issues:
We previously confirmed the need for bedding for the sofa bed. On arrival in the afternoon we told them there was no duvet cover, pillowcase, sheet or towels for the third person, sharing that they wouldn't be with us until the next day to help them out. They said they would deliver first thing next day. None came. Later they told us they could not deliver the bedding and towels that day either so we went to the Sainsburys next door to buy the cheapest we could. After this they placed bedding outside our door that night but we didn't find it until the next morning having already bought by then.
Customer Service:
We have since had email conversations about a refund for all the hassle. In the end they decided on some randomly chosen figure based on "20% of one night's cost", £28.83. Our six night stay was £865. It didn't even cover the £32.25 we paid out for the bedding and towels, which were the cheapest we could find. When we said they weren't dealing with the cost, let alone the hassle, they just said, if we sent receipts, they would match the £32.25! They had no sense of the trouble we had to deal with at all.

Beds were comfortable & linen of good quality. Nicely furnished with ample space for family of 4 for long weekend away.
Exterior space was not clean & first impressions from entrance to apartment was poor

Very convenient setting for myself and my friends. We had the X4 apartments taken and it was great, lots of room and very clean/tidy.
The beds were very comfortable!
The apartments are difficult to get into. We struggled with the locks and on one apartment the doorframe itself was stuck so we ended up having to get a locksmith out. However, the owners/staff were brilliant throughout this process and the problem was solved very quickly.
In one apartment there was no hot water but the issue was resolved when they used another apartments shower.

quiet neighborhood. The room size is good enough for my family of 4. Free roadside parking. with kitchen and washing machine.
Housekeeping is bad, first, we told to find the linen inside the sleeping sofa storage compartment, and we found pillows and comforter without a cover, and those pillows and comforters appeared to be old and yellowish, told the host and they send linen.
We also found a towel left inside the machine not sure for how long, my wife felt disgusted and we dare not to use the washing machine.
I guess the host should had done a diligent work to pre-check the room before receiving guest and should not put the blame on the cleaner.
Thirdly the main door is very difficult to open, this is due to the door warp. My yound children could not open them, this post a serious risk for escape if any emergency situation happen.

After collecting keys from the dropbox it was impossible to open the door. After struggling for 10 minutes, AND after calling the agents (who were very unhelpful and simply said they'd never had anyone with a problem before) the neighbour virtually kicked the door in for me and at last it opened. This experience was extremely offputting and I will NEVER book anything under this Company "Old Bank Apartments" again. They have also been spamming me every since - I have no idea how they got my email address.

The apartment was lovely and had everything we needed
The entrance had steep steps which I didn't realise and made it harder than I would hope to carry cases up with arthritis

spacious well decorated and maintained apartment. Very well equipped, although some more kitchen tools, eg spatula/wooden spoon would be handy. Wi-Fi great, comfy big sofa, wonderful huge bed.
Lovely to have huge bath with plenty of hot water.
Although centrally located very near a small retail park as in cul-de-sac safe and quiet.
Plenty of fee parking right outside the flat.
Any queries responded to very quickly.
Good value.

Apartment was mouldy, stank of mould. bathroom mouldy. smelled so bad. they had a loud fan in the bedroom to take smell away (which means they knew about the mould problem and still rented it out), but I had to switch off the loud fab at night to sleep also when we arrived the windows were open for the mould smell and the apartment was freezing . I have an allergy to mould and informed the management company. it was a health hazard, we were not offered a replacement property until the second day. they offers a much smaller property (studio) the other side of town. no maintenance or anyone came to help for the entire stay. we want a refund for a at least the first night and no one is responding to emails now or dealing with this complaint. outside the property was dirty and unkempt. it was a terrible experience.

We had a wonderful one night stay at The Old Bank apartment when exploring the city of Bristol on the weekend. The apartment is very clean and well looked after with all the necessary facilities. Parking free of charge available on the street nearby. No noise.
The apartment is approx. 40 min walk from the city centre. The price was too high in my opinion, however it was a last minute booking.

Easy contactless check in with clear instructions. Super responsive via WhatsApp and on street parking. Very clean and spacious and the bed was one of the comfiest I've ever slept in. My 3 year old was very happy there but it would suit couples and friends too. There's a large sainsbury's around the corner and a few nice pubs within 10 min walk. We will definitely book again
Nothing absolutely spot on
