lovely place but disappointed by choice on continental breakfast

there was no fruit at breakfast like I had been told, I was on takeaway continental and only had yogurt

If you say fruit then have it . also the urn was cold

Great place to stay when visiting Brustol.

Staff always helpful especially Sarah. Comfortable room, and lovely breakfast. Great place to stay. We checked in late but no problem with that.

when booking it said breakfast was included on arrival i was informed breakfast was an extra £8.00 the staff were so attentive it made the say most enjoyable even down to supplying me with a fan as the room was so hot.

i have stayed here before several times this was a very small room and i was told the others were booked and yet there was no one else in the building all night.

Beautiful location

The location was lovely and the building beautiful old style. The host Sara, was lovely and very accommodating and helpful.

The bed was too small for 2 adults, so could've been a bigger size. We didn't have WiFi access in our room, only outside.

A reasonable place to stay for 1 night, nice staff, good parking

The room was adequate for a one night stay, The bed covers were so comfy and clean, the pillows were just right and the room exceptionally quiet, even though I was on the ground floor next to the main entrance. The Shower cubicle was small, but the shower itself was very good. The parking was off road and more than adequate, with lots of space to park where you wish. The locality was very good, within half a mile walk of a large Sainsburys and retail park. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming and the overall impression was good.

The springs in the mattress were prominent which made for a difficult sleep. There wasn't any shower gel or shampoo, which I'd like for the money paid. The big let down was the very dated furniture, dated décor, drab curtains and just generally dated style of room - all were functional and no issue there.

Shockingly bad.

I stayed at this property for one night. The following day I returned to my home in France. 2 weeks later I am told by booking.com that I have 'NO SHOWED' for a booking I didn't make a week later. I wasn't even in the country!!!! Booking.com washed their hands off it as did the owner of this property. Owners words to me were that 'somebody will lose out and it won't be me'. Then refused to return calls after leaving messages with his staff to discuss. Arrogant and rude. Would not stay there ever again!!!!!

No food served as no chef on Mondays. Had to beg to eat just eat in the pub! All real ales off, rooms cold and my bathroom was freezing!!

Easy check in and out, location easy to find. Great area around for food .

Was not happy with the cleanliness of the room , there was think dust behind the TV that looked like it had been their for years. The bathroom was very heavy with lime scale on the taps and around the bottom of the shower tray, also the over flow hole in the bathroom sink was thick black .

Convenient, clean and we had a good night’s sleep!

Booking in was really good and the staff were friendly. The lady at breakfast time couldn’t have been more helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

Wardrobe space, non provided, but this wouldn’t deter us from staying again.

Good value for money made welcome and fair price for extra meals and dinning at the pub. It was near all local attractions. There was a tv with a good reception and the rooms where cleaned , bedding changed and new towels everyday. That was a brilliant addition to the package. Very warm showers

Enjoyable stay, would stay again when visiting the area.

The B&B was in a good location, comfortable bed with fresh linen and pleasant room. Lovely old building and pub next door for food and drink. Staff all very friendly.

Continental breakfast not really continental, just cereal and toast/ jams and yogurts available. No fresh fruit or cheese/meats etc. Cooked breakfast was available at extra cost if required, freshly cooked and looked worth the money although we did not order a cooked breakfast.
