A hidden jewel, and lovely resting place in the heart of the city.

The craftsmanship of this building is worth seeing, even if you aren’t staying! The staff called within minutes of booking to confirm and welcome us. Our room was beautifully appointed, allowing the architectural features to double as decor. It is literally centrally located, no need for a car, everything is within walking distance.

Thank you for amazing service

It was a last minute reservation in Crete. The lady “sorry I forgot her name” waited until we arrived late night and made sure we got everything we need. It’s amazing when the hosts show care to their residents. The rooms are spacious. The style was also special

Must stay! Directly in the heart of Heraklion!

Absolutely gorgeous and stunning hotel in an old house. The entire hotel is beautiful, and the rooms are lovely. It retains the charm of the old wood and stone, with updated modern appliances and bathrooms. The owner and staff are incredibly helpful and kind!

A nice holiday in Heraklion

I had the most wonderful stay at this hotel! The location couldn't have been better – it's situated perfectly in relation to the city, making it easy to explore all the attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was enjoyable. What truly sets this hotel apart is its rich history and unique decor. The building itself has witnessed so much history, and the interior design beautifully reflects this. The fusion of Venetian and Ottoman styles in the furnishings creates an interesting ambiance. The common areas were truly a sight to behold. The intricate flooring and exquisite furniture transported me to another time. It's evident that a lot of thought and care has gone into maintaining the charm of the space. The blend of culture, history, and comfort makes it a gem in the heart of Iraklion.

I believe that my room, which accommodated four people, should be better designed. One part of the room was spacious, bright, and had a window and a balcony, while the second area of the same room was completely dark and small.

A lovely respite.

The proprietors were very kind and friendly. The room was cool and very spacious and comfortable. I loved the desk chair. (Where can I get one of those for my house?!) The building was very elegant and charming. I would have happily stayed there for much longer than my one night.

It was pretty loud sometimes. The four guys who were staying next to me were very boisterous (both in their room and out in the courtyard) and their bathroom fan made for some weird white noise in my room. I just wonder if there might be some more soundproofing to be done for times like those.

Above and beyond expectations

Great value for money, super kind crew on reception. Excellent location! Clean and Cousy room, the have an arrangement with best restaurant in town for breakfast/brunch.

Great venue in the old city with very easy access to all-sites, water & nightlife!

This property is extremely well located in the old city very close to the harbor, cafe’s and museums. Tomas met us to turn over our key and he could not have been more helpful. He directed us to the important sited that we had wanted to see as well as restaurants! We loved the little balcony and the courtyard with tables to sit and relax.

Only downside was that it was a little noisy in the evening, but that is kind of the trade off for being close to the cafe’s and bars and in the center of it all!

Fabulous!!

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Our hosts were kind, attentive and helpful. Our check-in was seamless, they were always available to answer questions and supply anything extra we required during our stay. The location is amazing. At the very center of the city, surrounded by restaurants, bars and shopping. From our location we were comfortably able to walk to the city’s historic locations, including the waterfront, the wall surrounding the city and various museums. I highly recommend this hotel. Gorgeous!

If you are looking for a full service hotel with concierge not your place. Room was very cool looking and in fact the entire place was super nice vibe. Great location for restaurants and to the port and car rentals.

exactly as expected maybe some staff around in the morning to help with directions but I knew that going in that it there might not be staff there.

Location was ideal for a short stay as in the old town. Interesting old building that has been modernised to retain some old features. Easy to get a ride to the airport..

Everything was perfect. The place is stunningly gorgeous, I particularly loved that ! The large balcony makes it even better :) The location is one of the most interesting one, near the old city/archeological museum/taxi station for the airport... The host was very welcoming & the check-in/out was really quick. I'll sure come back just for the beauty of this place 😌

Perfect place in Heraklion

Perfect place in Heraklion. Very kind and generous hosts. They found our purse and make lot of effort to send it in Croatia. Excellent location to walk around Iraklion . We had nice room upstairs with nice wooden ceiling and balcony. Many nice details. Place for come back.
