Fully equipped apartment,clean, large size
Have to check in 3-6pm, they could have just give the code, there is really no need for the staff to be there.

Superb location, in the centre of the village. Really friendly hosts, who were welcoming and available to answer any queries. Comfortable and spacious accommodation and hot tub a lovely addition. Already planning a return visit :)
Nothing, it was perfect for our needs.

Die Lage ist sehr schön, die Wohnung war größer als erwartet und hat einen tollen Balkon. Ausstattung: super!

We initially booked for one night, but once there decided to book a 2nd night. Unfortunately the lodge we were in was not available for the 2nd night, however, we were given the option of another lodge. Both lodges were fantastic and had everything you needed in them and also both very comfortable. Staff (Jason & also the cleaner) were 10/10, great customer service.

The lodge was really comfortable and the location was amazing. The site manager was really friendly and accommodating and gave us a free upgrade to a lodge with a hot tub. I would highly recommend this place to stay if exploring the area.

location
Lodge with hot tub booked for 2 nights, 1st night the hot tub was cold and didn't heat up until the following day. The chalet heating was set wrong at 30degrees and we couldn't adjust so much too warm. Floor boards outside the toilet where swollen because of damp, apartment had a dirty feel and was outdated.

Lovely location. Comfortable, warm and cosy accommodation. Very friendly guy on reception who showed us to our lodge.
No soap in dispenser in bathroom. Kitchen bin did not close so could become smelly in hot weather. Outside grass area needs cutting and gravel areas need weeding.

Tge hot tub was really dirty! We could not go in it! I contacted balmaha lodges and was told to contact booking.com for a refund?

One of the best properties I’ve stayed recently. Very well maintained and the comfort level was top class. We enjoyed the Jacuzzi and the bathroom.
Nothing I could think of

Most unfriendly staff ever & stole my deposit.
The staff were trying to rip me off from the minute we arrived. £25 per hour for early check in.
My daughter was sick in sheets, nobody in office to report to & didn’t answer phone.

location , property building
furniture
small tv
uncomfortable small bed
cost in comparison to service
check in is at 3pm and check out is at ten am , on top of that we were made to stand and wait a further 30 mins to be checked in and during this told to be out for ten or be charged £25 , i then said well we are 30 mins late check in due to your own fault which was followed by a snap back asking if i was for real - unprofessional , large placks displaying rules dotted over the accommodation and the grounds making it feel uninviting .
for the cost per night the above needs addressed
on top of this a claw hammer was left lying in the grounds when we had small child , the jacuzzi had scum floating in the water and instead of the proper means of cleaning which is a floated item that circulates around the pool , a fresh chlorine tablet had been flung into the water recently which caused excess burning sensation

Our lodge was great, a well equipped kitchen, cosy seating area, and the bedroom and bathroom were both a good size.
I left my hair straightners there. I called and spoke with the owner, and he posted them to me, no hesitation or charge.
It would have been better if the hot tub area was more private.

There wasn't much to be fare we left after less than 24hrs
Well I get a call on the day asking if I want to reschedule as our hottub wasn't working but we had taking holidays from work and due to childcare it would be a pain and a waste of 2 days holidays that I taken off my allowance from work.
We were a late arrival so when we arrived we had the information we needed to get to our lodge but the lighting on the site was very poor after dark and it raining we were unable to find out lodge and took us over an hr in the rain to find out lodge and that was us also calling the number on the door for help which we didn't get anyone until after we had been in out lodge for some time.
We were also unaware that you weren't allowed to smoke even in our private garden. I understand that you werent allowed inside but outside was a pain and had to walk down to reception Or out back onto the carpark.
Also we we checked out less than 24 hrs after arrival I went to hand the key in said we were leaving early where they took the keys and said thanks felt like there wasn't good customer service or interested in anyway which was just another let down.
I could have got a cheaper deal else where for 2 nights away however we wanted a hottube and was let down last min as am a single mum of 2 I don't get away child free very often and is difficult to arrange due to working full time and childcare I felt like this was a complete waste of money was offered no refund or compensation only to rearrange which did would have been difficult to do due to I have 2 kids and my partner also has kids to sort and working as well to rearrange fid not suit both of us. We were left very disappointed

Modern and decorated to a lovely standard
Lovely owner and super friendly
Parking outside the building
Great location and local to a little pub and hill walk and local shop for essentials
Nothing great place to stay
Maybe a little steak for outside for dogs but otherwise nope amazing little find
4.5
The lodge was lovely, quite newly decorated & lots of nice touches, and a bonus it was dog friendly . Hot tub was great too. Setting really handy for hill & loch walks & pub/shop just across the road.
Nothing. The only thing I would suggest( and maybe just our experience as the guy who checked us in was only helping out due to illness) is there was no contact number issued/available if something went wrong & reception was often unmanned, so it would be handy to provide this in lodges or at check in, but fortunately nothing went wrong for us 😀

Staff were excellent, cabin was clean, warm and comfortable. Hot tub was great but the shelter was on the small side and it was raining, not a big issue really but maybe could be upgraded to a bigger one. Parking was ideal
Only issue was the small shelter for the hot tub. Would’ve preferred to be right on the banks of the loch but it was pretty close

Reception greeting and pre booking enquiries were fantastic, staff were friendly and welcoming. location is amazing and the accommodation was clean and tidy. Size was perfect for a few days.
The accommodation is getting a bit tired, especially the bathroom (woodpecker with dog allowed although we don't have a dog). Shower needs attention as water goes everywhere and the flooring got really wet and thats evident by the flooring lifting. The, door didn't lock and I think the hot and cold feed was the wrong way round. Not horrendous but not great. I think if u provided a little tea, coffee, salt, pepper and cooking oil that would really help also. The beds getting a bit lumpy as well. It might benefit with a small wardrobe to hang longer clothes also.

We enjoyed our stay so much in kittiwake. The outdoor area was spacious & fully fenced which was brilliant for our privacy & our 17 months old to be safe. The apartment was cosy & well equipped. The location is fantastic, bus stop on your doorstep & the pier a few mins away where you could cross to Luss village & enjoy lots of activities there. We arrived early and everything was ready for us, very attentive & nice staff.
Nothing actually I would just like to add as the apartment is semi detached more soundproofing would be appreciated & if the fences are not see through that would add more privacy & reduce noise.

Great location with a cozy stay.
Loved the balcony.
Bed was comfortable.
Balcony door didn't shut properly,a gap remained between the door and frame, looks like hasn't been installed correctly.
Cracked tiles on the floor in the bathroom.

Great Central location with easy access to Loch Lomond and cafe & restaurant
some of the paths around the site are not yet finished - they need to be tarmac'd
