***Beach Notes***
All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically public since the Queen owns up to the high watermark. Be advised, the beach or water entry behind your property may vary slightly from the images displayed due to weather. The next-door beach is also always available for your use.
***Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed***
Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally. Sargassum is a generally harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency in recent years. Although sargassum is an unsightly nuisance, it is largely seasonal in summer. Our owners do make efforts to remove heavy sargassum and will have the beach raked prior to your arrival.
Should sargassum be extremely heavy behind your property, we will reach out to the owner for alternative solutions which may include a partial refund or relocation. We try our best to work around mother nature.

We really enjoyed our family time at Cayman Dream! The pool was great- we swam every day. The house was great- we cooked a lot of meals at home. The A/C was very welcomed at the end of hot days at the beaches. Our kids enjoyed the cats and chickens that welcomed us every day. Overall a really great vacation.

House was fantastic for our family and was wonderfully equipped!

I highly recommend this house and the Cayman Islands more than any location we have been so far! The house was great for our family of 5 and with young kids the access to the pool and beach were the best. This side of the island was so quiet and that was for us. If you like more of the hustle and bustle then I recommend staying over near seven mile beach. We loved this location! To some it may be a nuisance but to us the cats and chickens hanging around made it feel more like home as we live on a farm. If you stay you need to feed the resident cat that we lovingly called “Missy”! Again, highly recommended this location and this property for laid back families that just want to hang out, explore the island and be away from all the crazy busy areas! Would come back every year for sure!

Property was great and as-advertised. Everything was clean and ready when we arrived. Kayaks were very useful and pool was great for relaxing afternoons.

great visit
House was beautiful and very clean! Great staying on this quieter side of the island. As others have mentioned, bring water shoes for the beach as it is very rocky. House had everything we could need and would definitely stay here again. Rental company was very friendly and we loved being able to borrow snorkel equipment.

Cayman get away
This house was very comfortable, it was pretty far away from everything if you want quite and Seclusion this is your place. We definitely had more than enough supplies to cook and clean. The pool was nice and we used it almost everyday.

Our new favorite vacation place!
Our family of six absolutely loved this place! Everything about it was exactly as described in the listing. Management was very responsive both before and during our stay. The house was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. Location is gorgeous and quiet and private. The beach is very rocky in front of the house but the view is gorgeous and Rum Point beach with great snorkeling is close by. Highly recommend this property!

We spent two week on this amazing island. We spent our first week at Cayman Dream and we wish we would have stayed there for both weeks.
Property was beautifully decorated, maintained and updated. It exceeded expectations.
The appliances were like new, the property manager notified us of when the pool/ maintenance/lawn care was coming by. There is clearly great pride taken. Y the property managers and owners. We will be back!!

This was the cleanest place i’ve ever stayed in! the house was lovely stocked with everything u need. small super private beach in front of the rocky coast. a word of warning, the house had some seaweed but the house next door and all the way down the coast, the seaweed is piled high. the rotting smell was overwhelming at times. overall it was a perfect place for me to just relax.

This lovely home on the more quiet and beautiful north shore, made for a perfect holiday. We are two retired couples looking for adventure and relaxation and we got lots of both! For relaxing you can't beat the pool to come home to after touring all day. But we never missed a night out on the lounge chairs looking for shooting stars or our morning coffee out by the pool almost catching the sun rise but always getting a visit from the 2 resident lion lizards living under the shells. The house is truly a home -- beautifully decorated and supplied with all one needs - - great kitchen and lots of beach towels! And sooooo clean!! The new tile bath is beautiful and everything is so well kept. The owners and property managers take pride and loving care of this home and it shows. We arrived just as hurricane "Michael" passed by and it had really kicked up the seaweed and trash on the beach and debris in the pool. Both were cleaned up within a day - AMAZING! In the 2 weeks there we did and saw lots. Rum Point was a favorite -- so close and such a fun atmosphere. The snorkeling, swimming , lunches and drinks were fantastic. Went to starfish point twice because those creatures are so beautiful and amazing. Went to HELL and back then visited the Turtle farm. Beautiful creatures. The trip out to Stingray City was equally amazing. Being off season, the crowds and cruise ships were less so we enjoyed smaller groups everywhere. We got lucky at the Botanical Gardens and Hal took us around on the golf cart for a personal tour explaining the history and flora. Seeing the blue iguanas was a rare treat. Drove the East end and saw the blow holes and enjoyed another enlivened tour guide at Pedro St. James the oldest stone house on the island. Take in the National Museum in Georgetown that has a really good video and artifacts and then no trip to Georgetown would be complete without some shopping. Don't miss Pure Art our favorite shop before you get into town. Lots of handmade local art and jewelry. Also dove a reef, wreck and the Wall with Don Foster's Center. Fantastic service. We never had a bad meal and went several times to Rum Point, Over the Edge, Tukka's, Lighthouse and a few waterfront in Georgetown. But mostly we loved cooking our own fresh seafood out on the grill at home. The real "pearl" of GCI has been Cayman Dream. Such a pleasure to return to each day and jump in that pool to cool off and relax. We rate this property 20 STARS**

The house was nice and clean. We went Aug 4th the seaweed was extremely bad at the time. The owners did not tell us about the problem till 2 days prior to the trip nor did they offer a discount bc it was not what they portrayed it to be on vrbo. The other issue we had was they day of departure someone called the house at 7:00am to tell us to hurry up and get out bc they had other guest coming to stay. I found it extremely unprofessional do to the fact that check out is at 10:00am. The caymans was a great place and wonderful country and people! This house could be very nice with better managers in place and more honesty from the owners.

The house was great! The beach shoreline in front of the house was less than desirable. Very trashy and difficult to maneuver. A rake to clean it myself would have been ok. Even though the description of the beach said it was cleaned weekly It seemed to have more trash than just a week's worth. We did not find your statement of the best snorkeling to be true. However it may have been the time of year as I know the windy season had begun so the water was very rough. We really enjoyed your home and found it to be clean and very liveable.

We had a great time and would love to come back there was tho some glass on the beach which could have cut someone but it was very clean after the gardener came. We had some fun games and built some rock towers but there were some bugs. The pool was a little cold but refreshing so thank you very much for a great stay and we loved the little walkways a great house for a family of 5

Away from the Madness of 7 Mile Beach!
My mother has lived in Cayman since 1978 so I know a little about the island. When some friends asked if we would go with them on a week long trip, we selected Cayman Dream as our base of operations! What a delightful place! Just a short drive to my favorite restaurant, Over the Edge, we really enjoyed the seclusion that this property offers while still being easily accessible. Price was also a consideration.

Wonderful, Cute Cayman Cottage
Wow we were shocked how cute this place was when we arrived. The landscaping out front created a wonderful buffer - this home lies on a deep property and we never heard traffic drive by! The screened porch across the back of the home was a wonderful surprise that we enjoyed every night (didn't notice the porch in the pictures). The pool is just large enough and the kids spent a good amout of time there when they were not roaming the beach. The snorkeling was fantastic right off the beach and we swam many different fish every time out there. We ventured to rum point on several occasions for lunches and afternoon swim and sun...
Highly recommended for families with children or two adult couples even.
We will come again soon! BR and JR
