I spent 6 days at this property and everything was as pictured. Not pictured was the steep driveway you had to go down to reach the apartment. As a senior, I found it a little difficult to navigate and its not well lit at night. Patio could have been swept and the cobwebs removed for a more favorable 1st impression. Check in was easy. It was adequately stocked with natural products, everything you needed except a mop and broom were present. Quiet neighborhood, As a senior citizen with some mobility issues I was very grateful for the grab bar near the toilet. I was unable to sit on the sofa and club chair as it was too low for me. The TV was operated by firestick only, which I could not operate, so I couldn't watch the local news. The AC was set at 1 temp which was little cold for me but I had my blanket with me and adjusted eventually. I never had contact with the owners. Overall all I had a pleasant stay.

Nice clean place, access was a little tricky but we managed. Would be hard for elderly or handicapped to access, but overall a great little place.

This was a lovely space. It was in a nice upcoming neighborhood. An easy walk to downtown. Just bear in mind for those not physically mobile. The driveway, which leads to the unit, could be a little challenging. *No fault of the owner*

This apartment was great! We were close to everything we needed. The host was prompt on her communication. I would definitely stay here again.

Comfy, convenient rental for the weekend. Sweet, helpful owner as well.

The listing for this property should specify that it is in a basement with access down an unpaved driveway that the owner says you should not drive down. This property is not for old people. It was sparsely furnished, unclean, and the property needs to be updated and refreshed.
Not a pleasant experience!

Enjoyed the property; listing is accurate. Location is wonderful; in walking distance of many great restaurants. Will definitely consider booking again if I'm in the area.

Nice, clean apartment with all appliances you need to make a family breakfast/meal. A short walk from downtown where there are restaurants, breweries, etc. Street parking was easy to find. I stayed with my two small kids. Admittedly, we didn't venture far after dark, but the neighborhood felt safe for us. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Jillian's place is absolutely wonderful! The apartment is cozy, comfortable, clean, and in a great area - walking distance to downtown Winston-Salem. We were there for a conference at the Benton Convention Center and the location was ideal. The kitchen was fully stocked, the washer and dryer were an added bonus and with 2 bedrooms it is ideal for a family or 2 couples. A perfect stay!

This place was very nice. We stayed for one night to attend an event nearby. The neighborhood was very quiet. You do have to park on the street and walk down a slight hill to get the the apartment. It might be difficult for very old people. My mom is 67 and walked down and up it just fine. There are plenty of places to park on the street. There are lovely smelling plants once you are near the front door. I would stay here again.

The beds were comfy and the bathroom was well stocked with towels. Overall a very clean property. Street parking was available, not my preference but was not hard to find. Some footsteps above were audible, and I missed having a Keurig. Owners checked in on us to be sure we were ok, even from their trip abroad.

We were in town for a wedding and enjoyed the proximity to down town. The neighborhood was very cute and safe. The basement apartment still got good light and felt very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed our stay. Friendly neighborhood and easy to find parking. My grandchildren especially enjoyed playing The Crazy Cat Lady game.

No complaints! The place is as described and the perfect getaway destination. The steep driveway was annoying but expected and helps you get a little workout in. We even had a friendly feline visitor!

We enjoyed your place very much. It was clean and had everything we needed for our 2 day stay for a convention at Benton Convention Center. Great location.
It wasn't the renters fault, but VRBO dropped the ball sending us the "check in information" and it took us a bit to finally get in.
We will definitely be back!

You really couldn't get a better spot for exploring downtown or attending a conference at the convention center. This house is in a quiet neighborhood that is literally THE FIRST real residential street with houses outside of the downtown business district. You're on the main drag in two blocks. Everything was clean and just as pictured. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and hope to be back next year for the Craft Brewers Conference again!

Wonderful host and great little home away from home. We stay quite often while visiting our daughter and every time has been great! Will caution if you have a guest who is older who has trouble walking there is a steep driveway to go down to get to apartment. Host is super accommodating and the home is in a great and safe location. We walked for coffee in the mornings. 😊

Property was very clean and welcoming. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen was well-stocked. The property manager (Jillian) was great - very accessible before our stay and detailed/informative communications provided at checking-in. The location can't be beat, with so many wonderful restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. We would definitely stay again!

We stayed to attend our oldest child’s college graduation. The apartment was perfect. Very clean and just as advertised. We would stay there again for sure!

I booked 3 nights. On arrival, I made a conscious decision not to stay. The driveway was steep with broken concrete. I found the exterior of the space overgrown and dark-not like the pictures. We got several bites before we went inside. Looking out from the entry door offered a perfect view of three or four garbage cans. I called for some concessions as I had only booked days in advance. None were given.

We stayed at this apartment for 4 days and we truly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very clean and it looked just as it was described on the listing. I love that the hosts provided things that I normally have to bring like - shampoo, soap, paper towels, dish soap, garbage bags. I felt like I went yo stay at a friends house. They have everything you could possibly need. They are very responsive with any questions you have. I definitely will be staying here again the next time I’m in Winston-Salem.

This property is so beautiful and cozy. Jillian and Keoni were wonderful hosts with communication and sorting out any questions I had. It's close to everything downtown and all the highways but tucked away and very peaceful. Excellent wifi and I loved all the natural products throughout the apartment. We would definitely stay again!!

A beautiful and comfortable 2 BR, 1 bath apartment in or on the edge of downtown Winston-Salem. A fairly short walk to downtown area, on-street parking, in a quiet neighborhood with historical homes. For those who don't know, the toaster slot is on top of the toaster oven. I learned to make coffee on this trip by grinding coffee beans and using a French press, which is included in the kitchen. That was kind of fun. If you enjoy walking and exploring downtown areas, you'll like this apartment.

We came up for a Disco Turkeys baseball weekend, and loved this little place. It was just a short walk to the stadium, as well as downtown. The bed was comfortable and it was in a quiet part of town. Would definitely stay there again!
