We booked two rooms for our team this past weekend. We had originally booked for 2 nights, but called the hotel to extend our 2 rooms to 3 nights over a month ago. I called to confirm our reservation a couple days in advance. When we arrived, they claimed we only had 1 room for 3 nights and were sold out of all other rooms. I think it was a miscommunication between Hotels.com and the Hotel, however even with the reservation on our email, they offered no help at the hotel. So all 4 single adults had to stay in 1 room and share beds.
This embassy suites is tired and run down. There was mold on our walls and all the baseboards were falling off. We will stay somewhere else next time we are in town.

The hotel was beautiful. I had called ahead and specifically asked if they had pet free rooms and was told it was the upper 2 floors. They put me in a room at the end of a hall on the 3rd floor. I could smell pets on the way to my room, but,the room was good.

The room was clean and very comfortable. Everyone with the staff was friends and quick to offer assistance for anything.
Beyond thier control is the parking deck information. I wish there was info about this on the Hotels.com site.

I reserved a king suite, and they gave me a double room

Average at best. Needs a lot of deep cleaning and updating. Room was generally clean and staff were very nice. Breakfast area did not look sanitary but staff was so busy that I just don’t think they could keep up with the number of guests.

1)Parking is $25/day so budget that into the price of the hotel 2) everything is broken: elevator, A/C in our room, ice machine 3)any simple request is refused: coffee cup refresh in the room, towels (multiple requests)…. We were met with excuses and told some version of “I have 23 rooms to clean” or told to ask someone else. Crazy! We finally decided to go to the indoor pool to steal pool towels since we had a suite for 4 people and were only provided with 2 for 2 nights!!!! 4)speaking of the pool… its filthy, cloudy, had a white film on the top and pretty sure there was BLOOD on the floor. Whirlpool is broken. 5)”dinner” from the onsite restaurant is actually premade salads or sandwiches in styrofoam that are super sketchy. 6)room was filthy, bug found in the bed, not actually cleaned during stay, mildew in shower, sticky slimy bathroom floor. 7) overall the hotel is just super weirdly laid out and strange, old, needs lots of updates.
Only saving grace is that food service staff are so nice. They are very friendly and accommodating when compared to other hotel staff. Breakfast and happy hour (very generous) was appreciated. But that’s not enough. Would never stay here again.

Room was run down, door didn’t shut properly, HUGE gap under the door so no smoke or fire protection, I’ve machine busted.

We enjoyed our stay in Winston-Salem. The manager’s reception was a nice perk. Good restaurants close by.

Winston Salem is a lovely area. We purchased a suite room due to this giving our family of 5 room. We asked 3 times and went to the front desk to get linens for the pull out bed, they refused to give us any. The breakfast was a joke with wait times of 20 minutes. Such a disappointment of a night in a beautiful area with a terrible stay.
3.5
Hotel was clean and the room was spacious. I had a kitchenette, living room and 2 beds
The staff was very helpful. The hotel needs to be updated but was fine foe my short stay.

I’ve stayed in numerous Embassy Suite locations and this was the worst. The carpet in our room was dirty and stained. The pullout bed cover had bloodstains. We removed the stained cover and asked for new sheets which we received. We expected that when cleaning came the next day, the stained cover which was on the floor would be removed. It remained there our entire 3 night stay. The staff was friendly so that was a plus but the hotel is old, elevators were out of order and there is no designated hotel parking so my husband and I who had to drive separately ended up paying $150 ($75pp) in parking. We will not be choosing the Winston location anytime soon.

The staff was very nice and helpful

One elevator was down and the other two made very large slamming and weird noises. Would not give a second key to the room for the other adult. There were no towels at the pool and multiple families had to go ask and it took over an hour to get clean towels for some.
The second floor had a large area with stacked up tables and chairs you had to zig zag through to get to the parking garage where the doors were broken. I really liked the layout of our room but overall the place was lackluster.

It was run down. The shower was broken and did not work. The sofa bed was disgusting and broken as well. I can't believe I paid for this.

The hotel from the outside looked nice and updated but the room was run down and looked bad. The couch cushions had its stuffing showing. We booked a room that was suppose to fit 6 people and there was two queen beds and a pull out sofa. However the pullout sofa didn’t have any linens and when I called the front desk to ask for linens they told me they didn’t have any. I asked them where we were suppose to sleep and they said they didn’t know. The mattress on the pull out bed was stained as well. Super disappointed in my stay.
3.5
Didn't have linens in room for sleeper sofa.Phone didn't work to contact house keeping or front desk. No blanket available. No ice. Breakfast no one was keeping food and dishes forks etc refilled. Overall I was surprised and disappointed. I have always enjoyed Embassy Suites.

Only stayed at this hotel because it advertised on-site EV charging. As it turns out, the "on-site" EV charging is in the public lot next door that charges $25 per day. As far as the hotel itself, they spent the renovation budget on the lobby, which is nice, but the rooms are drab, dated with poorly functioning (and loud) A/C. Aside from that, the staff was friendly and helpful.

Hotel needs an upgrade, badly! The room was not up to the Hilton brand standards: stains on the floor, window sill area w cobwebs, and a cockroach crawling on my kids in the night. Skip this hotel.

Everything was horrible
3.5
This was honestly the worst, most disappointing hotel I’ve ever stayed it. The hotel is beautiful but the service and people make it horrible! First, check in was 4pm. Got here at 3:45. At 4:35 our room was still not ready! Then the room was not clean. Crumbs fell out of the sleeper sofa. Then we went to the bar to get a drink. Waited 40 minutes. No one came and waited on us. Came to our room and ordered ONE BOTTLE OF WINE. They said it may be a minute. Waited 30 minutes. Still no bottle of wine.
3.5
Confusing on where the main entrance is. Garage is short, can’t handle a tall vehicle. Breakfast buffet was disorganized, ran out of food, staff was friendly. Room was accommodating for our family but doesn’t compare to other Embassy’s I’ve stayed. This property is very dated.
3.5
The service was great when we checked in and when asked for assistance. We reserved a room with a pull out sofa along with a king bed. You'd assume that with a pull out couch being part of the reservation that the linens for that would be available in the room. They were not and when asked at the front desk, it was very limited. They had sheets and a small blanket. They did not have any pillows or an additional comforter/blanket to use. I'd recommend bringing your own linens if planning on using the pull out sofa.

The whole place felt deserted and spartan… no towel racks… old grouting in shower and tiles… air conditioning was hard to control. Breakfast was good and location was fine. Not up to what I would expect from a Hilton property.

Ran out of food for breakfast every morning and never had anything available at the bar. Kids running wild everywhere and messy common areas

The breakfast buffet was not a buffet I was disappointed after the others embassy's I have stayed at this one needs to be updated in some parts but overall it was ok

The customer service was top-tier among all staff during my stay. I appreciate you all.

The hotel itself was tidy and conveniently situated in the city. However, there was a persistent issue with homeless individuals approaching guests near the entrance. Despite being a silver member, I wasn't provided with complimentary water bottles and had to inquire about purchasing them, leading to a 15-minute wait for the manager to address the matter. The breakfast experience fell short of expectations, which was a significant factor in choosing this hotel. Despite advertised service until 10:30 am, food availability was inconsistent, with no replenishment of items like eggs and bacon once depleted. Additionally, breakfast service ended abruptly when food ran low, with guests being turned away before the scheduled closing time.

Absolutely ridiculous never have I stay at a Hilton much less this one which I had stayed at before and had so many problems. First NO ice bucket and couldn't get one and fridge barely work to keep any thing cooled. NO towels, hand towels or washcloth for two of three days we stayed there. We had to use the pool towels and when we were FINALLY giving towels we were leaving the next day. The restaurant at the hotel NOBODY was wearing hair nets which resulted in the workers hair being in my food. AND to top it off the elevator stopped working so for two days we had to go up and down three flights of stairs and they have one luggage cart that people took to the convention center across the street to use for their stuff. So we had to carry our luggage from the second floor down three flights of stairs to the lobby. Thankfully we weren't on the 9th floor of this hotel because my mom has a heart condition. We are NEVER staying here again.
3.5
They didn't provide enough bedding for our room, even after we asked. One elevator broke before our stay, and another on while we were there. My husband also wasn't allowed to pick my breakfast up, even with the ticket in hand and room information, which really sucked since I was feeling under the weather and did 't want to wait on the one working elevator during a major event. Sleeping without covers is not fun, you could have at least given us a sheet for cleaniliness to cover the mattress.

Very nice hotel, we enjoyed our visit and would love to stay again. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you.

Our check in was unwelcoming. The elevators had food all over the floors that never was cleaned. The hall carpets were dirty & walls had huge hunks taken out of them. There was pink slime on the shower walls. We've stayed at many Embassy Suites & this hotel had the worst manager's reception (small drink selection & bags of cheddar chex mix) & morning breakfast. At 8:30, the juice machine didn't work, food was not out/all over the floor, noone was attempting to put anything out so we left & ate on the road. It was conveniently located to many shops & restaurants. The bed was very comfortable. For the price that we paid for the night, it's a shame that they don't do more to live up to the Embassy Suites standards.
3.5
House keeping did not come to our room, the person was cleaning the room next to ours when we left to go shopping and we took the do not disturb down. The hotel needed to be restored.

Smooth check in, nice staff

The hotel does not provide parking , it is 25 a day or you can pay per hour. The lady checking me in was absolutely rude and spoke extremely fast trying to rush through checking me in. Didn’t explain anything so I had to figure out parking and everything else myself. Pool is ice cold , not able to use it and hot tub is broken. The room we had we completely run down, the mini fridge was shoved in a cabinet with no ventilation and the door would get stuck cracked open so it doesn’t stay cold. The bathroom was dirty especially the tub , the bottles of conditioner and others were not filled. The breakfast was ok but they are understaffed with that it seems because food would run out early and nothing would get restocked. We travel here once a year for my daughters jrotc drill competition and I had hoped with it being a Hilton brand it would be somewhat nice but I was comply thrown off by how bad it was. Between the street noise and people/kids running in the halls late at night sleep is not easy. Street noise isn’t the hotels fault nor the noisy people but just a heads up for others. The check out was the same , rude lady who didn’t ask how the stay was just ran through what she had to say fast and grabbed the key cards and went about what ever else she was doing. They do seem to be trying to remedy the situation since they reached out via text , but unhappy is a understatement for this trip.

Great breakfast.

On our way we read a lot of negative reviews and were not expecting much. Our stay way exceeded any expectations. Room was well-equipped, spacious and clean. All common spaces were nice and neat. All personnel super nice. They could have used some extra hands at the breakfast. The lady seemed a bit overwhelmed but the quality didn't suffer. We used street and public parking just round the corner which was free.
