I was disappointed to have the reception in a different building. Also I expected the breakfast to be in the same building not a couple miles away. Maneuvering to that location through town was a bit of a challenge on a weekday.

Gorgeous restored hidden gem. I love staying in real B&B's. This had a great bed, a huge luxurious bathroom. They offered a real breakfast at their sister inn about 2 miles away that was fantastic. This should be sold out every night.. Quiet. Put a small bottle of wine and water in the little fridge for us. Starbucks pods for the Keurig.

Loved staying here, I was traveling by myself and staying here made my little trip so enjoyable. The room was beautiful. They do offer breakfast which is included with your stay but I didn’t make it since I decided to sleep in. I was given a little bottle of wine when I got there, they asked me beforehand which kind of wine I preferred which is above and beyond!

A very lovely stay with a large room and bathroom! It was so clean and cozy with a Victorian feel which I absolutely love!!! The wine was a big plus and although we had to drive to the Shaffner for breakfast… it was very well worth the drive.

Our stay was great. The info said we would receive a split wine and chocolate upon arrival. We did get the wine and it was a nice quality. No chocolate. However, the staff was great and very accommodating although the one staff member was not very knowledgeable about the surrounding area so you may need to do some of your own research. The breakfast was amazing and the property is absolutely beautiful. We would stay there again!

Had a great time in our short stay in Winston-Salem. The accommodations were excellent and the staff were fantastic. Met the owner and his son and they couldn't have been more welcoming. Looking to come back and stay longer. Many good restaurants within walking distance too.

great big room and soaking tub. shower is really nice, clean, and spacious. it was not hot in the room, but it was a little stuffy because there was not any airflow. lots of excellent restaurants in walking distance we would stay here again

We had a wonderful stay at this clean, cozy inn. The staff was wonderful and the rooms had lots of character and thoughtful amenities. The only downside was that there was no gym but that's not to be expected in a bed & breakfast. Great place!

Charming room in a gorgeous old house surrounded by a beautiful perennial flower garden on a quiet street. The room was well-appointed with luxurious touches—bathrobes, bath bomb, Keurig coffeemaker… Not only was the room wonderful in itself, but the downstairs common rooms and outside spaces were delightful!

The Inn is conveniently located in walking distance of downtown Winston. It was in excellent condition, and perfectly decorated. The property and gardens were beautifully maintained. The staff was friendly and made themselves available. There was an option for Continental breakfast at the Inn, or dine-in breakfast at Founders restaurant, nearby. The restaurant has historic charm as well, and is a 3 minute drive from Summit St. The smoked salmon eggs Benedict was 10/10! The service there was excellent as well. Can not say enough good things! Gem! Look forward to returning!

Wonderful hotel. Very quiet and had all the amenities needed. Audrey was phenomenal. Great location if you’re willing to walk. Only complaint would be that we didn’t stay longer.

What a lovely property conveniently located for walk ability. My only qualm is the hot breakfast that comes with your stay is a mile away which is inconvenient when not driving. I would definitely stay again!

Such a lovely inn! The room was beautiful with everything needed. I actually booked it because of the freestanding tub and big shower and they were exactly what I wanted. All the windows were lovely, but if the curtains weren’t closed, the room got hot even with the AC all the way up, but the ceiling fan helped pick up any slack once we realized this and closed them. Breakfast at Founders was wonderful and totally worth the walk or drive over (the weekend menu is extensive, weekday still offers a great traditional breakfast cooked to order).

This place was absolutely gorgeous. The room and the gardens were stunning. The neighborhood was really pretty. There was a claw foot tub in my room which I didn’t expect, with bath salts and a bath bomb. The decor was so nice and the room was spacious with lots of windows. There was a coffee maker and fridge in the room and beautiful robes. For breakfast I just grabbed the continental breakfast because I was in a hurry but their restaurant nearby sounded amazing. If I had more time I would have gone there for breakfast. Normal hotel stuff on the continental. Muffins, fruit, yogurt. The night before I walked to dinner. Lots of nice restaurants about a block away.

This was a beautiful inn. We were well taken care of at check in. Tall ceilings, beautiful woodwork and the garden/landscaping was stunning. Our stay was short, so hard to provide a lot of feedback. We opted for breakfast at the sister inn, and it was fabulous! Our only suggestion is to provide portable fans at request or have available in the closet to help with the air circulation for those used to sleeping with one. We didn't have time to run and find one, so it was a little stuffy at night. However, overall a lovely place, good price and we would stay again.
