Me encanto la cabana, la naturaleza y la tranquilidad, la piscina y comida. Tiene una buena ubicación porque pudimos ir a la playa a ver el atardecer.

is een leuk hotel met een aangenaam zwembad en super behulpzame en vriendelijke staff. Mega lekker ontbijt, top dranklijst en als toetje een buitendouche van de bovenste plank. Speciale shout-out aan het personeel dat het geregeld heeft dat mijn vergeten GSM via een taxi de dag nadien al meekwam en mooi werd afgeleverd aan de receptie. Hoe ze het deden weet ik niet, maar gezien we het vergeten waren op de vulkaan, zowat een dagreis verder is dit het meest indrukwekkend staaltje klantenservice dat ik ooit meemaakte.

alles viel heel erg goed mee. Niets aan te merken.

Een erg fijn verblijf

Het personeel was echt heel erg vriendelijk en hielpen ons gedurende ons verblijf goed. Van het regelen van onze surfles tot het tippen van leuke restaurants. De kamer was heel ruim, het bed was fijn en de airco werkte goed. Het zwembad en het eten waren ook erg goed.

Wij sliepen op een kamer waar ook nog een andere kamer boven was. De kamer is iet wat gehorig, waardoor wij onze bovenburen zo af en toe hoorde. In eerste instantie hadden we ‘rustige’ bovenburen, maar de laatste avond kwam daar verandering in. Onze bovenburen kwamen rond 02:30 terug en dat hebben we geweten haha. Let op, als je bij het uitchecken met je creditcard wilt betalen dan wordt er 7% van het totale bedrag van de rekening in rekening gebracht. Wij adviseren iedereen om cash te betalen. Bij de lokale Super24 staat een pinautomaat. Hier kun je maximaal 2000Q pinnen en je moet een fee van 69Q per transactie betalen. Altijd nog goedkoper dan de 7% fee bij het hotel, maar wanneer je in de gelegenheid bent om ergens anders in Guatemala bij een andere bank te pinnen dan moet je dat doen. Andere banken, bijvoorbeeld BI, hebben een transactievergoeding van ‘slechts’ 4$.

Great place for relaxing days in El Paredon.

The staff is very friendly. The pool and general style of the hotel are beautiful. The food was great too. A bit more pricey than other places but great value for money as the quality is top notch. A great place to relax as it's very calm.

Outdoor bathrooms attracted a bit of "wildlife" that we had to occasionally kick out of the room.

Relajación total en un lugar increíble, es de nuestros lugares favoritos en el paredón. Sin duda a la próxima visita al paredón, iremos a Swell nuevamente.

The location is really good, quite hotel to relax and enjoy the pool and the weather, food is very very good! staff is very friendly and the main areas of the hotel are very good.

in none of the bathrooms are hand towels, there is no way to dry your hands after washing them. there is also no place to hang the toilet paper. the grass and garden could be more taken care of.

Best hotel in El Paredon!

A beautiful oasis in the middle of El Paradon. The best food in the area (breakfast and lunch) and a lovely laid back vibe. The staff were really nice. We spent lots of time chilling there and we loved it.

The mosquito nets had holes in them. Some of the bathroom fittings were dirty (calcified). Not a great place if you have accessibility issues due to the steep ladders, cobbled pathway. But these were all minor issues, it was my favourite place I stayed in Guatemala.

Really nice place to relax and enjoy at the pool. Bedroom comfortable and clean. Beach is just a 2minute walk away. All over one of the best places in El Paredon. I can just recommend this place.

I loved everything about this place. I look forward to going back again some day.

They had great food and the employees were very helpful. I was very glad to have a room with air conditioning becuase we went at a very humid time of year. It was very quiet so it was a nice place to end our vacation.

This isn't related to the hotel but the town didn't have a lot of food options but what we tried was good. Luckily the hotel had a good restaurant.

A Wonderful Overall Experience!

Everything! every staff member was super helpful, interesting, and a delight to be around. Food was delicious. Lodging was thoughtfully and tastefully designed, clean, and comfortable. Can’t say enough good things about my experience?

my only complaint (well outside of their control), was that it wasn’t beachfront which I couldn’t tell when I googled on a map.
