Location and presentation
All good

Very clean and lovely people that own the B&B.
Nothing to dislike.

I was pleasantly surprised to find cereals and snacks in the room on arrival . This was an added bonus as hadn't booked a breakfast.
The mattress on the double bed was very uncomfortable so I slept on top of the single bed.
4.3
Room was very well equipped - enjoyed additional extras (breakfast cereals etc)
4.3
Lots of floor space for playing.
Comfy beds and great towels.
So nice having basics in the room (toiletries, tea and coffee) on arrival.
Proper sized fridge.
Generally quiet area.
Excellent toy selection for my 4 year old.
Lovely to have books in the room.
Easy to park.
Would have helped to have something to wash up with (sponge/cloth).
Heating didn’t quite circulate (hot in one room, cold in another).
Didn’t know how to access the garden or anything as no instructions or signage anywhere and didn’t feel I could knock on the closed doors.

it was A okay

The extra touches that go above and beyond make a world of difference, tea, coffee, cereal, proper milk, snacks and equipment provided. Welcoming friendly hosts, relaxed and accommodating.
Checking out and going home.

Just returned from 1 night stay. Room was spotless and loved the little touches that Donna left. Plenty of parking. Room was very spacious and the bath was amazing. Would return
Everything was amazing

Very welcoming hosts, provided lots of extra home comforts from tea/coffee/cereal/sweet treats to ice pack when I sprained my ankle which were unexpected and greatly appreciated :)
Rooms restocked when you go out for the day - non intrusive housekeeping.
Comfortable beds, clean rooms & towels. Linen changed mid-week which was a bonus
Having a fridge and freezer in the room was ideal and a bonus - especially with kids.
Plug points and lighting were great.
Lovely bright, warm rooms.
Keys for room & main door so you could come/go as you please.
Donna was very accommodating of our arrival time - in the end we managed to arrive within usual check in times, but we had initially thought it would be much later which she was accepting of.
Free Broadband and Sky
Microwave in the room.
Rooms comfortable and well equipped.
They have dogs, but clean up the garden regularly and keep the dogs in the private areas of the house so they don't interfere with guests.
You are left in peace to enjoy a quiet, relaxing stay.
Hosts have lots of local knowledge - restaurants, supermarkets, petrol stations - so easy to find and get to local amenities within a 10min drive.
Great location - central and quiet - family suite is self-contained and worked well for a family of 4.
Some garden facilities for kids - slide, trampoline, lawn games, treehouse well-used but still with lots of life left in them.
Felt like a secure, safe property to stay in and we would like to have a repeat stay on our next visit to the Midlands :)
Nothing major - was generally a great stay 🥰
Couple of suggestions for an improved stay:
A separate sink for washing up would be useful as well as washing up liquid & a sponge - as need to currently use the bathroom sink (which isn't ideal) and there is no plate rack currently to place stuff to dry.
Actual blackout curtains between the rooms (and blind in the bathroom) or even a door rather than just voile would have been better as young children go to sleep early and would get less disturbed by light/TV in the adjoining room.
The walls are VERY thin, so we could hear folk next door vomiting one night and what sounded like shouting (but probably just talking loudly) late at night for a couple of nights which was a bit of a shame, but this is not on the hosts as other guests and noise carrying are luck of the draw wherever you stay.
We had initially earmarked this property especially for free use of a pool - in reality, the pool was outdoors and very cold and green, so after the children had a couple of minutes dipping their toes in, we ended up paying to take them to the local public swimming baths instead - would maybe consider removing this feature from the description to avoid disappointment.

Comfortable, friendly, excellent facilities in the suite. Good breakfast but I should have told the host about my preferences as I ended up leaving some of it. Very well placed for access to surrounding area with an excellent restaurant, 'The Royal Redgate', 10 mins away.

An absolute joy! Gorgeous place, fantastic garden with swimming pool, which was lush. Hosts were really lovely! Bed was soooo comfortable, and everything was spotless.
Was faultless - a marvellous place.

I had cereals for breakfast which were nice and they were accessible in the room. I was offered poached eggs but I was happy with cereals.
It was a little chilly in the room.

Nice quiet view of garden
Good selection of nibbles and choice of coffee's
Bathroom very compact
Bed too hard for me, mattress very thin
Didn't like the idea of eating breakfast in the bedroom so went out to eat

Selection of snacks.
Nice to have 3 towels provided each.
Room was cold and couldn't see how to turn temperature up.

Really enjoyed our stay with Donna, the house was beautiful, in a lovely spot, very clean and just fab
For us, nothing at all. We would return, no problem

Very homely, fantastically clean and neat. Wonderful hostess. Breakfast was well cooked and plentiful. Our bed was incredibly comfortable and pillows firm but soft and warm. Accommodating car park. Nice relaxing living space in addition to the bed area, the snacks and fresh milk were a great addition.
The location was amazing for a good nights sleep but nothing especially close to do in the evening, not a huge problem as we drive but if someone was after a stopover from a night out this isn't the place for you.

Family run and so friendly. They thought of all the little things you might need. They also went above and beyond to help us. Location was lovely too.
Nothing.
4.3
Coming through the front door very cosy. Spotless downstairs and upstairs.
I couldn't sleep in the bed it was very hard. The pillows were nearly flat. It didn't feel clean there was bits on the floor and eating breakfast in the bedroom didn't sit well with me. There was lovely selection of tea coffee hot chocolate, and fresh milk in the fridge with 2 bottles of water.
What really made me feel ill was a big hair in the shower yuk!

large room with good facilities
all good

We liked the location. The size of thew room was wonderful. We loved having some basic catering equipment so we could make breakfast and coffee in the morning. The cheery welcome. The landlady was exceptionally warm and friendly. We got to meet her dogs and she took our little boy to meet the dogs again and a snake. He was thrilled.
The tv settings were a little dark. We could not adjust them. This is very minor comment.
