Two days in Glasgow

The one bedroom apartment was very large for the UK. I'd confirmed it had a washer/dryer in my unit and this worked well. Clean unit. Solid comfortable bed with good linens. Towels were lovely and shower with good pressure and plenty of hot water. Nice black out shades for sleeping when the sun goes down after 2230. Kitchen set for the basics of tea and coffee and some plates/cutlery and kettle and french press. Continuous refills on milk in glass jars for tea/coffee and refills on tea/coffee on request. So very much nicer than a powder. Restaurants and bars from casual to higher end all within steps of the front door, or at -1 level of the hotel.

The streets in this location can be noisy in the evenings. Not always, though. Higher up makes a difference. Understandable with the location. More as an FYI for the folks with heavy luggage or mobility issues-- there are a few/several unavoidable stairs. For me, as I had done some indulgent last minute single malt shopping this trip, the staff were lovely and helped get the luggage down. This did not detract from my stay.

Amazing location and fantastic apartment at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend

Right in the centre of Glasgow. Loads of room, easy check-in and the apartment was clean and well stocked

My only mild complaint is that they changed beer barrels outside the building pretty noisily at 6am to 8am on the Tuesday morning we were there, as the apartment is above a restaurant and bar. But this is very minor complaint

Nice place, nice staff, good location.

Great location, steps away from the Queens St. train station. As we took the train from Edinburgh, that was very convenient.

While they do have laundry facilities, it can take as long as 6 hours to finish a single load of wash. It's an old building with no outside venting, so they have to use special driers that seem to take forever.

Great place location

It’s big and spacious and has a kitchen to cook or microwave food. It’s was located near shops and restaurants though we got Uber eats haha and the staff at reception when checking in and out were lovely

There was random loud banging sound going on quite late at night which occasionally woke me up on the second night. And we were just above the restaurant so you could hear people talking constantly and with my luck with lots of birthday celebrations being sung, which it was quite irritating at times when you just want to relax for the day as even with TV on you could hear it. We did hear them as well as the banging on the first night but I was so tired from our travels that’s we managed to sleep through it but overal great place to stay. It’s wasn’t too much of a bother if you find ways to close off the noise like headphone but if your a light sleeper like me not ideal. My boyfriend is a deep sleeper and it didn’t bother him or wake him up and enjoyed the stay more haha but for the price and location I would still book again

Great location and lovely staff in a fine city

Great location, huge room/studio with plenty of light – and good curtains which blocked out most of it when we wanted to sleep. Staff were friendly and everything was clean. And we booked during a 50% off offer, so the price was great too!

I'm quite sensitive to sound when sleeping, and there was a generator a few floors below giving a (very) quiet hum all night. Didn't bother my partner, but I had to put my earplugs in to sleep. Wouldn't stop us returning, though, and won't be a problem for most people.

Cosy room, perfect location

Very comfortable place, perfect location, and kind people. The room was spacey and clean. Overall, a good choice to see Glasgow and have a nice place to fall back.

Highly recommended in every way.

Exceptional location next to train station and airport shuttle. Studio like accommodations included complete kitchen. Totally remodeled bathroom and kitchen were like new. Room was spacious and appropriate for long both term or short term use.

next to industrial fans outside the room. even with the noise screen could still hear the hum but after awhile got used to it. electrical cupboard in bathroom 201 wouldn’t stay closed.

Will definitely be back, second visit here and don't want to stay anywhere else when I'm in. Glasgow

great location, friendly staff and rooms very comfortable and clean. Loved that its connected to Anchor Line and Atlantic Restaurant, both places were frequented by us during our stay!

The apartments are fantastic, sizable rooms, well decorated and in a great location.

The birds. Unfortunately the pigeons sit outside the windows cooing all night. It makes it very difficult to sleep.

Spacious suite, good central location.

Noisy early morning rubbish collection in adjacent lane way. Lots of steps up from street to ¨ground¨ floor lift lobby were a pain when dealing with heavy bags on arrival and departure.

Huge, well-decorated and child friendly suite in perfect location

We really enjoyed our stay at Native Glasgow. we went for the bigger room with the separate kitchen and bedroom and it was huge! Also very child friendly - our 18 month old is a pro at getting into mischief but he was easy to manage because of the set up. Location was also great - two minutes from Queen street station and right next to lots of restaurants/shops. The hotel also felt very secure and we couldn’t hear other guests at all. Nice to have a dishwasher and washing machine also.

There was a tiny bit of noise (the occasional glass bin being emptied). But given how central it is I think this is to be expected and there was no singing or shouting that we heard. We also really struggled to find the car park the hotel recommended - Google maps kept telling us to pull down a side street and walk there which obviously wouldn’t work. I’d opt for a different car park or be prepared to get old-fashioned and look at the map yourself rather than relying on sat-nav.
