About this house rental
Completely renovated historic home with all modern and state of art features and appliances. This 3 Bedroom 2 1/2 Bath has over 2000 square feet of living space and is located in the heart of downtown located less than a 5-minute walk to restaurants, shopping, coffee shops and the Rapid City Bike path. Convenient access to Interstate 90, Rapid City transit system and close to the hospital. The main level features all stainless-steel appliances! The open layout offers a state-of-the-art kitchen open to the living room, dining room and foyer with a convenient half bath. The upper floor has 3 beautiful bedrooms with 2 gorgeous bathrooms and laundry in the hall. The master bedroom offers a king bed with an on-suite that features a custom shower, double sink vanity and a walk-in-closet. Bedrooms 2 and 3 offer queen beds with a guest bath to share. This Historic Home was taken down to the studs and no expense was spared. Central Air, new furnace, new water heater, new flooring and new windows. You will not be disappointed! This place is spectacular!!!

The house was very clean and beautiful. I love the old house new remodel! The furnishing were very nice and the kitchen was well supplied. There is a lot of street noise for the bedrooms on that side of the house and we had some trouble with people parking where we were supposed to. All and all a very nice home and great location to memorial park.

We were very happy with our stay. The property was in great condition and was just like the online photos. We were in town for a family wedding and some sightseeing and the location was very convenient to the church (a happy coincidence) and to restaurants, as well as the nearby tourist sites. We had a great time sitting outside in the sun one afternoon on the comfortable outdoor sofa.
My sister will be returning to Rapid City to visit her daughter (the bride) and has already said this is where she wants to stay on those visits because the house was so nice.

We rented this house as a place to relax after a full week of biking on the Mickelson Trail and hiking in the Black Hills. We wanted to kick back in a comfortable place close to the amenities Rapid City has to offer. It exceeded our expectations on every count. Clean, spacious, very beautifully decorated, great outdoor living room and great proximity to restaurants and shops. The owners are responsive and fun to meet. We absolutely loved this place !

Well maintained & beautifully decorated home.
This was one of the nicest vacation rental properties we’ve ever stayed at. The home was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and the owner provided ample paper products. The location was a great home base for our SD sightseeing. The only drawback is that it is on a busy road and the traffic can be a bit noisy. But we loved that we could walk to the downtown restaurants and shops. We loved the modern kitchen with the huge island and built-in coffee maker. The patio was also fantastic for relaxing with a book under the beautiful shade tree surrounded by a privacy fence.

Property manager was extremely accommodating. She was readily available. Property is in a fantastic location. You are able to enjoy the downtown area of Rapid City (great restaurants) and are a short drive to key attractions. Highly recommend this property!

Comfy & Convenient
There were 6 of us ranging in age from 16 to 82 and we had a great time, plenty of room to spread out. Only downside is if you are a light sleeper, it is on a major roadway and near train tracks. We easily traveled the Black Hills area, Deadwood, Custer, Rushmore, Hill City, Keystone and Badlands areas from this location.

Lovely Stay!
My family and I had a wonderful stay at the “purple house” in the heart of Rapid City! The property has been fully remodeled and was true to the pictures. We really liked having the washer/dryer on the second story next to the bedrooms. The built-in coffee maker was also a huge plus! The property owner/manager was super nice and accommodating as well! This was definitely one of the best VRBOs I’ve encountered so far and will stay again on our next trip to the area!

Great Location Close To Downtown
We stayed at this property when we traveled to Rapid City for our Son's wedding. It was perfect for us and had a nice homey feel. We knew we did not want to have to get ready for such an important day in a hotel room. The property is beautiful and the coffee pot is amazing! Loved the location. Highly recommend!

Our stay in Rapid City was great! The rental was so clean and beautiful! The house has been updated and is well cared for ! Stay here, not there.
We planned a trip to South Dakota with our children and in-laws to see Mt. Rushmore, Badlands National Park, etc. We decided to stay in Rapid City because the downtown area had so much to offer. We were not impressed by the hotels in the area so we decided to rent a VRBO so all of us could stay together. We are so glad we did. This was the best rental we have stayed in. The house was fully equipped, tastefully decorated, and so comfortable. We even canceled our dinner reservations one night so we could grill out and enjoy the back patio and the beautiful summer weather instead. We sat out on the patio every morning and every night of our stay. It was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend!

Beds are so comfy, we were well rested for our hiking in Custer State Park., Badlands and visit to Mt Rushmore. Excellent location to walk into town for dinner. A beautiful home away from home! Will stay here again and again...
This property and owner were fabulous for our family reunion. Was a last minute booking and the owner could not have been more accommodating. The home was neat, clean and most important COMFORTABLE. Such a lovely home to come to after a long day of exploring. Downside could be that this property is facing a major road and railroad, and during the week you will hear the train horn. I'm a heavy sleeper, but our parents who we're from farm country quiet nights found it harder to stay asleep. So if you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs or white noise machine because this property is totally worth it.
