About this apartment rental
Stunning flat in a gracious Georgian terrace of town houses, within level walking distance of Bath city centre. Large living room with comfy sofa and dining area. Fully equipped kitchen. Romantic double bedroom .Free parking outside, easy access to local shops, pubs, theatre and pleasant walks.
About Bath: Bath is Britain’s only World Heritage City with Roman baths, glorious Georgian architecture and a myriad of fascinating shops, restaurants and bars.
'Must sees' include the Roman Baths, Assembly Rooms, Royal Crescent, Pump Room and Pulteney Bridge - the choice is yours.
Grosvenor Place offers the rarety of unrestricted parking outside, easy access to city centre and Local pubs and shops within five minutes walk, and the city centre is about 15 minutes level walk away either along London Road or via the Kennet and Avon Canal towpath.
The exciting new Thermae Bath Spa opened in Spring, 2004, with the chance to bathe in thermal mineral waters and enjoy a range of therapeutic treatments in the first new spa to be built in the UK for at least 200 years!
The city itself is a shoppers' paradise, with many interesting and unusual independent shops. There's also a vast array of restaurants and pubs to suit just about every taste and pocket.
Within Reach: Further afield the choices for days out range from Bristol, with its exciting new hands-on interactive science centre and SS Great Britain, to the Cotswolds. The ancient sites of Stonehenge and Avebury are also close by, while Wells and Glastonbury continue the historic theme.
The National Trust village of Lacock is also a short drive away - see if you can spot familiar scenes from the film version of Jane Austen's 'Pride and Prejudice' and the Harry Potter series, while Castle Combe is just one of the many delightful country villages on the doorstep.
The area around Bath offers wonderful opportunities for walking - the Cotswolds Way starts and finishes at the abbey doors, and the surrounding hills and woods are criss-crossed with public footpaths, many offering spectacular views of the city below.
For the less energetic, Bath makes an excellent centre from which to tour the Cotswolds, as well as the beautiful countryside of Somerset, Wiltshire and South Gloucestershire.
What's On?: Bath hosts a whole string of festivals throughout the year. The International Music Festival runs from mid-May to early June, there's a wine festival in June, a real-ale fandago in October, and a Film Festival and Mozart Festival both in November. The Christmas lights run through the whole of December, and there's always a performance of Handel's Messiah in Bath Abbey on the first weekend in December. For useful websites for further information, please ask us. To keep up to date with what's happening day-by-day (do not hesitate to contact owner for further information or link).

Sue was a very accommodating host and check-in was smooth. Sue provided local information which was useful and included a beautiful walk into bath along the canal and use of local shops in the Larkhall area. Overall the apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed.

Place is cute, had everything we needed. Beautiful view out back. Sue was wonderful and her spouse even helped us with our bags. Two things to be aware of: there is one flight of slightly steep stairs. Also, if you plan to park there come during the day to secure a spot and do not park under the trees, it looked like the birds used our car for target practice. I had to go to the car wash on a rental. More importantly, we'd gladly stay there again!

Apartment was very comfortable and clean with everything you needed. Small kitchen and bathroom but large sitting/dining room and the bed was extremely large and very comfortable. Both airy and bright. The apartment is quite far away from the centre but there is a lovely walk in to the city along the canal and the bus stop is two minutes away. Would recommend this apartment.

The location of the apartment was very good. It was well stocked with everything we needed. The only downside was the parking in the street which was very tight.

Stayed at Sue's apartment over a long weekend. Sue was very easy to communicate with and met us at the apartment for check in and showed us around. The apartment was clean and airy with a nice lounge and large bedroom. We walked into the centre in about 20 minutes on the main road. There is free on street parking which is a bonus. Overall nice apartment and we'd stay here again!

Great location 20 mins walk from the centre of Bath, super light and comfortable Georgian apartment perfect for a base for exploring a stunning city.

A well kept venue which was a 15 mins approx walk to the town, activities shops etc. Buses etc were quite regular. Parking was a slight issue but only because building work was being carried out at the rear of the property along with street cleaning. However alternatives were offered by the helpful owner. The apartment is accessed by a deep staircase which is fine for those who are mobile. Comfortable, warm and a very well equipped apartment which made the stay more enjoyable. The host provided fresh coffee, milk , biscuits at the beginning of the stay which was a thoughtful touch and welcomed.

Property was great. Well maintained, clean and comfortable. Sue was great. Good communication. A fan in the property would have been nice. Its a 10 minute walk to shopping and 15-20 minutes to the town. If you go the back way next to the canal, it is a bit longer but well worth it

This property was immaculate, very comfortable and well stocked with anything you could possibly need for your stay. A short walk for groceries and a short walk into Bath or Bathampton. It was nice to have parking available right outside the door and to have a washing machine to do our laundry. The owner was great to work with. Well appointed apartment close to city centre
Good apartment 1 mile from centre of Bath with on street parking. Had everything needed for short stay. The super king bed was excellent. The over the bath shower was somewhat feeble but overall very good.

Lovely Flat
The flat was very clean and Sue was very accommodating. Lovely smile to greet us and nothing was too much trouble. She showed us the workings of the flat and gave us very good advice about Bath. The canal walk into Bath centre is approximately 2 miles but well worth the doing and certainly didn’t feel that far due to the enjoyment factor. This flat is definitely one for a return visit.
