About this villa rental
Altipertoli is an historic residence in a superb location, ideal for both a peaceful family gathering and for an active vacation aimed at experiencing the best of Tuscan lifestyle.
Major improvements were brought to the residence in the second half of 2022: air conditioning in every bedroom, fast Internet connection indoor and outdoor, new mosquito screens, charging station for electric vehicles, high insulation and anti burglary fixtures, high efficiency thermo-fireplace.
The villa is situated on the crest of a hill, in a position inhabited since the most ancient times thanks to the 360 ° view, the well of perennial water, the afternoon breeze from the sea that refreshes the summer evenings, the magic sunsets.
The villa is fully independent and for exclusive use; it is not suitable for reduced mobility travellers as it has stairs.
The location is ideal for experiencing Tuscany, convenient to the main roads: a short distance from Florence, Prato, San Gimignano and Siena, just over an hour to Pisa, Pistoia, Lucca and Arezzo, to the beaches and to the Abetone mountain slopes.
The villa was built in the 14th century. It has been restored preserving the original structure and adding contemporary comfort; the interiors are decorated with antique and contemporary furniture.
A quite large group of people can be together in the main villa, while friends can enjoy the privacy of a fully equipped, separate pavilion the "Scuderia".
Dinners are hosted in the main dining room or under the pergola in the backyard. The large kitchen is a cozy place to cook, follow cooking classes and have informal meals: a special fireplace is built in the kitchen to grill 'Florentine' steaks and barbecue indoor. Two pergolas provide cool shelter in the day in the front and in the back gardens.
The infinity pool is 4x12 m, depth from 1,2 to 2,2 m; it is surrounded by olive and fruit trees, lavender and roses: a corner of heaven to relax after a day of sightseeing and shopping.
The barnyard has a playground under the pergola, great as a dance floor.
Sightseeing & Art - Altipertoli is a perfect base to explore the heritage and the contemporary art sites of Tuscany. Contemporary art lovers can enjoy visits at some of the best land's art collections in Europe (Castello di Ama, Celle, Casenuove) as well as private views at leading contemporary gallery La Continua in San Gimignano. Art exhibitions, music festivals, sagas and culinary events in Tuscany can be followed with privileged access and guided tours.
Wine & Cuisine - Special programs are suggested for guests who are keen to experience and learn the secrets of Tuscan cuisine and wine making. World famous vineyards and cellars are nearby, as well as cheese and honey producers. We organize discovery circuits to explore the different facets of the culinary tradition of the region.
Fashion, Crafts & Antiques Shopping - The area around Altipertoli is a shoppers' paradise. You will be guided to shop for fashion and luxury goods in downtown Florence or in the factory outlets of Valdarno, where all the Italian and European luxury brands can be purchased at discount prices. If you are passionate by art or antiques you can choose from world-class contemporary art galleries and top antique dealers in Florence, San Gimignano and Lucca, or you can stroll through the streets of Arezzo for the Antique Market once a month. The choice is endless and we are happy to help our guests to discover and plan what suits their interests.

We enjoyed a lot our stay at Paola’s and Pietro’s house in San Casciano in the heart of Tuscany
The house is a dream: full of history, great kitchen, upstairs bedrooms are fantastic
And you can even pick tomatoes in the garden
Paola has also given excellent advice and helped us book restaurants across the region.

The property is very much as described, with everything in order. Paola, our hostess, introduced us to a couple of off the beaten path experiences that delighted my guests. A very memorable stay I am happy to recommend.

Altipertoli is a lovely and rustic country villa located in a good spot to use as a home base for touring Tuscany! It was closed to get to Florence, Sienna, San G., Certaldo, Pisa & wineries from this location! But remember, Tuscany is filled with winding roads and sharp curves, so this is not for someone who wants to be “in town.” You must drive a rental car from here or hire a driver to get around. And there are quite a few steps and a walk to get from the car to the front door so be aware of this when booking. That being said, Paola was great having someone meet us, and got all of our luggage up to our room. And she was a godsend setting up all of our restaurant/winery/gallery tours. It made things so much easier! Beautiful landscape and grounds everywhere, and the Villa was comfortable and enjoyable. We wish we could’ve stayed longer at Altipertoli and we left a little piece of our hearts there.

My family's holiday in Tuscany was a magical time because of beautiful Altipertoli and the extraordinary help from Paola! This is a charming villa with lovely gardens, an awesome pool and mesmerizing VIEWS.
There were eight of us and everyone had a delightful room with a very comfortable bed, and an AC unit that worked well. The bathrooms are modern and very nice. Be aware that the steps to the second floor are very high.
The main floor living room, dining room and well stocked kitchen worked perfectly for us. Our favorite place to eat was outside under the pergola and added bonus is the ping pong table that we greatly enjoyed.
Importantly the windows and doors had screens that provided mosquito protection and allowed the breeze to flow through the house. The impressive shutters and locks on the windows and doors of both floors provided absolute security. The house is a fortress!
Paola is a generous and responsive hostess. She helped us with reservations, hiring her housekeeper to cook meals, and arranging a fun pasta making class. She was easy to communicate with ahead of and during our visit, including finding medical assistance and a tire repair.
Altipertoli is clearly a cherished home that is clean, comfortable and well cared for. Everything about it was exactly the authentic Italian experience I had hoped for. My family is so grateful that Paola chooses to share Altipertoli. I hope someday to return but I left feeling I have a home in Tuscany. Mille grazie!

Thank you for allowing us to stay at your great property. Paola made all the arrangements for meals, driver and stocked our refrigerator with everything needed. Beds were comfortable and place was beautiful.
Thanks!

Incredible location and home. Photos do not do it justice. Paola and Pietro went over and beyond for us and were so accommodation for our whole family.

Rented villa anticipating a Disney-like vacation in Italy; received headaches, drama, stress & bad energy. We are a retired, affluent, laid-back couple from San Diego, CA. Many, many problems, a few listed here:
(1) It was July and HOT. The ACs in 3 bedrooms did not work. Technicians could not fix. The 3 rooms were miserable. Another AC was dripping water in the house disturbing sleep. (Slummy).
(2) We got robbed. At 2:00 a.m., someone broke a lock, entered house and bedrooms—while we were asleep—stole wallet, money & things. Luckily, no one got hurt. VERY SCARY AND DRAMATIC.
(3) The Villa is a duplex; only got half of the structure. (Property's pictures are very deceptive and misleading.) Other half rented to a lively wedding: very noisy.
(4) Neighbor’s pool only 10 feet away separated by hedge. No privacy. noisy music from other guests,
(5) Host extremely rude and combative. We booked home for 28 days then scaled back to 13 days. Host collected for 28 days; took a long time and haggling to get refund. Host accused us of leaving place dirty (we did not); overusing AC (we did not) overusing laundry (we did 3 loads in 13 days) breaking things (we did not and needed to show pictures as proof); breaking dishwasher and demanding full replacement (it only needed to be reset).
(6) No toiletries provided; needed to buy soap, toilet paper, etc.
(7) Laundry room full of black mold.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY.

Villa Altipertoli is ideally located in the Tuscan countryside. The property is amazing with outstanding vistas, fruit trees, olive trees, and a fabulous, well maintained infinity pool. Our family of 10, 6 adults and 4 children, had a fantastic time!
The accommodations were spacious and comfortable. As we chose not to rent a car, Paola was very helpful in arranging transportation for day trips to Florence, the Antinori winery, Maranello and Corzano e Paterno. She also arranged for Samantha to take us grocery shopping upon our arrival.
At our request, Linda (the housekeeper) prepared and served a delicious dinner on our arrival. We ate al fresco under the grape vines surrounded by fruit trees.
We will definitely recommend a stay at Villa Altipertoli to family and friends.
Our grandchildren had an amazing time and wished we owned the Villa so we could return year after year. Our 9-year old grandson summarized our stay with the spontaneous comment, “This is the life!” Yes, indeed, this is the ‘Dolce Vita’!

We had a wonderful time at Altipertoli! Linda and her daughter Sam are gems and were very welcoming. Communication with Paola was superb. The place itself was charming and peaceful. We loved the pool, dining outside and the surrounding grounds. One thing we realized upon arrival is the villa is not a stand alone unit in that it is split into two. Although the grounds are separated, and the majority of our time we were alone, another party arrived during the last few days of our stay. This can be problematic if the other group is noisy which was our situation forcing us to close our windows and shutters. Other than that, this place is a paradise! Thank you Paola!

We had an amazing time at this incredible villa. The views are amazing and include both sunrise and sunset, and the rooms are spacious and made us feel like we were home. The building was apparently a medieval master house. It is solid and really well appointed and maintained. The kitchen and dining areas literally had everything we needed.
Paola and Pietro were also amazingly attentive. They arranged for a chef to come and teach us how to prepare a wonderful Italian meal. It was an spectacular family experience.
They also helped us with arranging trips and suggestions for an excursion to Certaldo plus an excellent dinner at Osteria Casa de Chianti.
We would highly recommend this villa for a time in Tuscany and hope we get to go back soon

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property. All the rooms were spacious and having the renovated barn for extra space was a great benefit when family came to visit for short periods. We absolutely loved eating all our meals in the backyard and spending lazy afternoons by the pool. The views from the villa were spectacular and there were many nearby vineyards to visit. The hosts were extremely helpful in providing suggestions for places to visit, making restaurant reservations, arranging for a private cook for a large group dinner (an excellent meal), booking a private driver for us and stocking the pantry in advance of our visit. We would highly recommend this property for a large group.

We stayed for a month in June and loved hosting friends and getting to know that area. The pool is incredible and was used every day. The grounds are beautifully kept up and have fruit trees. The owners Paola and Pietro are very nice and responsive. Though they live in Milan we stayed in touch on WhatsApp and were able to get issues addressed quickly. They were wonderful with setting up cooking classes, which were really delicious and fun. They made recommendations on shops and restaurants and helped us make reservations for meals. They have an excellent housekeeper/cook who can prepare great meals for groups if requested. The Wi-FI was inconsistent though they have several repeaters. It may have been fixed now. It has six separate bedroom areas with good beds and several options for arrangements. There is only air conditioning in three of the six rooms and in one it is not very effective. There is no air conditioning on the main floor and though there is a cross breeze there are mosquitoes and only one door has a screen. It will be hot in the summer. Five of six bedrooms require walking up stairs and in the main house the stone stairs are steep if a guest has mobility issues.

3 generations travel to Tuscany
We have been in this lovely villa for 11 days, staying 10 people age range 11-80, we have been met with great hospitality and willingness to book and advice on things to do. We have enjoyed cooking in house, and even a cooking class in house. We have been advice about nice restaurants in the neighborhood.
The house as such is well kept, and is being taken care of by staff, so every thing is fine. As our host said, this is in the middle of everything.
All in all a nice vacation in Tuscany.

Beautiful villa in ideal location!
The Villa owner was fantastic to deal with from pre-reservation through to check out, very responsive to questions we had and quite agreeable to making recommendations and even arrangements on our behalf.
The beautiful home itself is well represented by the photographs and is quite stunning. Everything one would need was provided. The setting is breathtaking and the grounds include a multiple of fruit trees and a vegetable garden which guests are encouraged to take advantage of. The location is perfect. Literally three minutes away from a restaurant and vinyards, 15 minutes to the nearest towns/grocery stores/restaurants and 35 minutes south of Firenze.
The rooms were spacious and all four of us had lots of privacy when desired.
We would not hesitate to recommend Altipertoli.

Home Away in Tuscany
The property is located on the top of a hill with gorgeous sunrise and sunset views of the vineyards and olive trees. It is isolated from the main road but also within a short driving distance from small towns with stores and restaurants. The landscape is lush with roses, flowers, fruit trees and the back porch shaded under grape wines is perfect for breakfast and afternoon relaxation. The house is very comfortable, with decor keeping in tone with the "old world", has a large kitchen, fully equipped, nicely decorated bedrooms with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms, a sitting area with a cozy fireplace and a separate unit for more guests or family. Everybody in our party felt at home. We met Paola and Pietro upon our arrival and they were wonderful with suggestions, tips and arranging activities for us, so we have a great Tuscany experience.
Highly recommended!

Slice of Paradise in Tuscany
This is the most wonderful villa south of Florence and central to all Tuscany’s jewels. The owners are delightful and nothing is a problem. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS VILLA TO YOU MORE HIGHLY. We stayed for two weeks and had plenty to do each day (it is best if you have a rental car). Every morning we would walk through the olive groves (less than 10 mins) to the tabacchi for fresh pastries (you must have cornetto alla crema) and supplies (so convenient for longer stays). The villa is so charming and furnished with a wonderful sense of style. We adored eating at the table in the cosy kitchen and sitting around the fire in the living room in the evenings. The garden is also stunning with a wonderful infinity pool looking over the fields. We had a cook prepare our dinner on two occasions and she was extremely capable and the food was so fresh, tasty and authentic. We explored everything within a 2 hour radius of the villa and walked all over the countryside. The villa is located perfectly for day trips to Florence, Siena, Lucca, Arezzo, San Gimignano, and Volterra. There are also many other things to do locally. We had a cheese and wine tasting at Corzano e Paterno, an exceptional lunch at Antinori Winery, lovely seafood lunch at La Trattoria del Pesce, visits to the abbey and Chapel of the Fishes at Badia a Passignano, lunch at Dario Cecchini’s butcher shop in Panzano, and lunches at Trattoria Montalbino and C’era Una Volta. We were 2 couples that have had the holiday of a lifetime. We are so grateful that we chose this villa and hope to return one day.

Lovely Tuscany
Where do I begin...
It was an amazing experience for me and my husband and so many friends and family members that came to join us on our trip to Tuscany!
This place is amazing and so well taking care of.Villa is stunning,it will take you back in time, gardens are beautiful ,sunsets and sunrises are amazing....
But the most important things for me were the special touches from Paola, she would let you know that she is on her way to bring some fresh local bread and dessert
it was always a great and well thought surprise from her . She was always very accommodating and made you feel like it’s your place...She is a very special lady
My absolute favorite experience was with Linda and her daughter Samantia..
They were amazing !!!Some of the best meals we had in Italy were at the Villa,

This house is spacious and well equipped for a large family, with beautiful terrace, garden and pool
We could not have wished for a lovelier setting, or a more beautiful house, in which to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our family. Paola and Pietro were charming and friendly hosts, and were there to welcome us on arrival. They were contactable by phone should any problem arise, throughout our stay, and offered many suggestions for restaurants where we might eat, and places to visit. The location is ideal for sightseeing, being fairly close to the road running between Florence and Siena, with various hilltop towns within a 30 minute drive. The views all around from the property are wonderful The weather was hot, and because of that we did not go out every day, relaxing in the extensive gardens and using the pool.
I did feel as we were being shown aroundl that maybe our 6 small grandchildren were not ideal guests for this impeccably furnished home, but they all loved it and treated it with respect.
A delicious supper had been prepared for us at our request for our first night. As for shops, there are two small village shops nearby for basic items, and a larger Co-op supermarket about a 30 minute drive.away which provided everything we needed.
This week away fulfilled all our expectations for a relaxing family holiday, and we would certainly go there again if the opportunity arose for another Visit to Tuscany.

Incredible stay!
Upon arriving at Paola & Pietro's beautiful villa, they both met us and explained the house to us and gave many incredible recommendations and made reservations for us. Not to mention the treats Paola bought for the kids and made the most incredible chocolate cake! They are the most lovely people and it shows in the home. Every detail of the villa is filled with love and beautifully designed. The villa is very spacious and has lots of rooms, beds and space. The beds are very comfortable. All the windows have screens and the house is cool. The garden is filled with fruit trees. My kids spent hours playing soccer on the grass, swimming in the beautiful pool and playing pingpong. The kids and I had a cooking lesson one evening which was fantastic and the most amazing food! The best part of staying there was enjoying meals outside under the grape trellis and having Patrizia or Linda cook for us. It was very reasonable. The villa is 5 minutes from Antinori Winery and many other incredible restaurants. Florence is 40 minutes away. Paola emailed regularly to offer suggestions and see how we were doing. We can't wait to go back! Thanks for an incredible week! I recommend this villa to anyone who wanted a guarantee of the most perfect holiday!

Fantastic Villa in the Heart of Chianti
My friends and I had a wonderful week in this amazing, countryside villa. Far enough away from the density of the city that we could enjoy the amazing views of Tuscany, but close enough that we could easily enjoy the sightseeing, shopping and foods (including wine tasting) of Florence, Siena, Lucca, Greve, San Gimignano, and Panzano.
Paola (the owner) is amazing and always helpful. She made several recommendations that we would have not found on our own and always offered to help with reservations.
Also very grateful to Linda, who prepared two wonderful home cooked meals for us.
I hope to go back. There is so much more to see, and there’s no better place to relax and stay after a long day on your feet!

Splendid holiday retreat in Tuscany
The house is situated in an ideal Tuscany location, with wonderful views of vineyards and olive groves. Also, the property’s distance from the roadway is just perfect so you are not disturbed by traffic and yet have a short drive on a lane to the house with excellent parking. We had lovely mornings and evenings around the grounds, with outdoor seating for all meals which is convenient to the kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with all modern devices, and well stocked with dinnerware, utensils, and glasses. The interior of the house is very impressive with well selected furnishings demonstrating a superb touch in home decoration, and the floor plan is large and comfortable. The bedrooms were very comfortable with modern adjoining bathrooms. Paola and Pietro are very nice and helpful, giving us many tips for restaurants and directions to stores and nearby towns. They made some reservations for us at restaurants they recommended, and we completely relished the food and experience.

Wonderful holiday in a gorgeous house!
We spent a great week at this gorgeous house and would have loved to stay longer. The house is located in the typically Tuscan landscape with a great view to all directions. The location is perfect for trips to Florence, Siena and San Gimignano. The building itself is even more beautiful than we expected. All rooms are spacious, furnished with exceptional taste, very clean and absolutely well maintained. Our group of two couples, two young adults and three children enjoyed the extensive and well-kept garden with the pool, sunbeds, vegetable garden and dinners at the beautiful stone table under the vine pergola.
Paola, the lovely owner of the house, was very helpful in advising restaurants as well as activities in the surrounding and made us feel welcome on our arrival. It could not have been better, so we plan to return soon!

Exceeded Expectations!
Our group of 9 people- 4 adults, 5 kids were here for a week in June/July, and we felt like we were living the postcard of Tuscany. The villa is as described and the views are even better than the photos.
The villa is beautiful, clean and well situated between Florence and Siena. Paola was fantastic and helpful in making suggestions regarding places to eat, taste wine (Antinori- 10 minutes away was a highlight), cheese taste (Corzano e Paterno), and set up a wonderful woman to cook for us one night.
We really appreciated Paola's responsiveness and flexibility and would absolutely recommend the villa to a friend!

Villa Alpertoli is a little piece of heaven! Our family of 8 had a marvelous stay in July of this year. We had excursions planned for every other day, and in between, had time to enjoy the pool, the grounds, the wonderful kitchen....Paola was incredible from the moment I inquired about the villa, until after we left, and inadvertently left a carry-on bag behind that needed to be shipped home! She made reservations for us at a local restaurant during a festival, suggested we visit a marvelous silver artist, who created a bracelet designed by our granddaughter, introduced us to a friend who hosted private concerts in a magical grove, where we dined and then enjoyed exquisite music, she responded to our inquiries immediately and solved issues we encountered. Additionally, she arranged for dinner to be prepared upon our arrival and the evening prior to our departure. She was the most welcoming, hospitable and genuinely caring hostess one could imagine. The house was absolutely lovely. The bedrooms were beautiful, well furnished and the screens in the large windows so appreciated, since it was extremely hot during our stay. The bathrooms were also lovely, and well equipped. There was plenty of room for all of us to be together, to have space, to stretch out around the pool, dine under the gorgeous pergola, and the kitchen was large enough for all or some of us to be cooking...so much fun!Angela did a wonderful job of cleaning, and tidying, and Andrea was most attentive to the garden, and small repairs. The pool was extremely well maintained and offered plenty of room for water games, swimming and relaxing. It was even fun to do laundry, brush by a lavender bush, as you carried laundry to the clothesline, then reward yourself with a plum off the tree by line...what could be better. We would return to the villa in a heartbeat, and are already scheming about a return visit....

Perfect Tuscan villa
Our group of 10 stayed at this lovely farmhouse for a week - 8 in the main house and 2 in the 'pavilion'. It was very comfortable with lovely furnishings. It felt like a real home. The garden was full of olive and fruit trees providing shade. There was a vegetable garden which we were told to use and the tomatoes were delicious. We enjoyed the pool every day and ate our meals at the huge table under the grape vine. It was perfect. The owner, Paola, could not have been more helpful from the moment of booking, she advised us of places to go and answered every question I emailed to her. On arrival, her lovely housekeeper, Angela, welcomed us and made sure we had everything we required. If you are looking for a traditional Tuscan property with every modern convenience with amazing views in a tranquil setting, look no further. We will return. Thank you so much Paola.

This is a beautiful villa in a great location
We had two weeks in late August/early September 2014, taking two separate groups of eight friends.
The villa is beautiful with lovely gardens and a nice pool, great areas for eating inside and out and lovely bedrooms; two couples having to share a bathroom wasn't ideal, but it resulted in a lot of laughs. The house is clean and very well cared for. The gardener and staff in the house are great.
The position, on the edge of Chianti country, is ideal for visiting Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and the Chianti villages.
The star turn is Paola herself. She was absolutely incredible in advising us where to go and making reservations. Nothing was too much trouble. As a result we had the two weeks planned in advance which made for an extremely relaxing time for all.
I am sure we shall be back.

Perfection in Tuscany!
I had been longing to go to Tuscany with all my family for my 60th birthday. In my mind I knew exactly where I wanted to stay and how the villa should look and Villa Altipertoli lived up to all my hopes and expectations!
We were greeted by the charming owner, Paola, who welcomed us with the most delicious lunch! Paola is extremely knowledgeable about the area and has wonderful ideas for interesting outings.
The villa is perfect! Beautiful, clean and relaxing. The gardens are well tended and the pool delightful. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and would love to return!

Everything we hoped for and more
Paola was there to greet us on arrival and show us around the villa and we felt instantly welcome. The villa is perfectly located for easy access to all that you would want to see and do in Tuscany. The villa itself is beautifully decorated with a typical farm-style kitchen which has a long table big enough to have everyone in the kitchen involved or chatting whilst we prepared our Tuscan dinners. These dinners we enjoyed outside at a huge table under grape-vines, with the most beautiful sunsets as a backdrop. We could go into the garden and pick apples, plums, figs, strawberries, rocket, rosemary etc etc and the lavender bushes emmited the most intoxicating fragrance as the breeze rustled the blooms. Many hours were also spent at the pool, with extended views over the surrounding coutryside. Bliss!
The bedrooms were also beautifully decorated and comfortable. We were 2 families, totalling 10 people and there was plenty of space.
Paola also had some lovely recommendations for eating out, where to buy groceries (The Coop in San Casciano has top quality fresh produce and everything you would need), and even a local silver jewelry manufacturer where we bought some bespoke items and watched them being made. She also very kindly booked a tour for us in Florence and a festival dinner at a nearby town.
I have already recommended this villa to some friends who will be booking for next summer, and we are making plans to return as well. If I could afford it, I would return here every year!

Paradise in Tuscany!
Once we arrived, we did not want to leave, and when it was time to depart, we wished we had booked two weeks instead of one!
This home is so lovingly restored and maintained, and so comfortably and well appointed. The house is perched on a little rise, and each room offers a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. Our host, Paola, made us feel instantly welcome and at home in her home.
Paola had many suggestions for activities in the area. Regarding food, we followed her advice to shop at the Coop supermarket in nearby San Val di Casciano. It is a small town but the market is excellent, and we cooked some memorable meals in villa's great kitchen.
Paola's caretaker/maid, Nilsa, is an excellent cook, and she made dinner for us on two nights. If we had planned our time differently, we could have had her cook more, as it was quite lovely to come home at the end of a day of sightseeing and dine outdoors on her delicious food under the grape arbor.
Paola was a kind, thoughtful and responsive host. Everything in the house is arranged with great care for the comfort of guests. I would absolutely stay here again and would absolutely recommend this home to everyone I know!
The countryside is an area of great physical beauty, and the villa's location puts it in short driving distance to many points of interest in Tuscany. Nearby, we enjoyed dinner at the Antinori Vineyard, and also the winery tour there. We also had a lovely lunch at il Gallo Giallo just outside San Val di Casciano.

Wonderful, memory filled week at a Tuscan Villa
We reviewed over a dozen rental web sites for a villa in Tuscany and hit gold with this one. You can read about a villa in Tuscany, see pictures of villas in Tuscany, even dream about the perfect villa in Tuscany and when you see this villa your dream will have come true. We wanted to experience Tuscany and the Chianti region and this was the perfect location. Our wonderful host Paola had great recommendations on sites to see and restaurants to visit. Paola sent us to a small local winery and olive oil processor….very beautiful, no crowds, very personal. The villa is in the best location to tour Florence, Sienna, San Gimignano, Volterra, Greve and other hill towns. We woke up each day to beautiful hills with grape vineyards and olive groves surrounding us – even a short walk for morning cappuccino. Nine members of our family spent a wonderful, memory filled week at a villa with all the comforts of home and amenities from our host that went above and beyond a rental. We felt like guest in friend’s villa.
