Beautiful place, next to the beach with an incredible pool with gorgeous views. The staff were so nice and friendly. 👏🏻

Great location, staff is friendly. The room and the amenities are very good.
Everything important is great. If I have to point out improvement, I would say the hotel structure needs a bit of love… painting in the outside, door and roof repairs.
I would say it would be better if for breakfast they had a coffee station for self serve instead of waiting for the staff to come with the cups, the sugar, coffee, milk, etc.

The hotel is gorgeous and is located on a secluded beach and is surrounded by many hiking and mountain biking trails and there are many water sports. There also is yoga, a spa and many workout classes. There is even an outdoor weight area - so many opportunities to stay active. Onsite there are many excellent bars and restaurants to chose from; we loved the variety of choices. The lobby cocktail bar prides itself on amazing cocktail services; there are so many creative cocktails (the smoked mescal cosmo is delicious!). Fresh ingredients and attention to detail made the cocktails delightful.
When planning our trip I didn't appreciate how driving in Costa Rica can be a challenge if you are unfamiliar with their roads. This is not meant as a criticism just a reality I had not anticipated. So getting from one beach to another was a challenge and it took us two days to figure out how to get to Playa Conchal! Again, this was due to my lack of research but it made our location a challenge. Also note, we came during rainy season and were not aware that the Monkey Trail floods (road number 911, seriously!) and we would be crossing two creeks. We did it safely (and it was exciting!) but we were so happy a local who was crossing the other way stopped to tell us it was ok to cross! Now I understand why so many vehicles have snorkels!

The hotel is beautifil, rhe breakfast good, the location great, right in front of the beach. But since our first night the air conditioning was not working so it was impossible to enjoy the stay
The air conditioning was not working. I reported it after the firsf night and they told me they set it at 23C ,,{did not even feel like it).Second day it reached 31C inside the room. Third night 31C even though they told was fix.

The atmosphere of the hotel and the architecture of the surrounding buildings
The roads into the area are not the greatest. Not too much the hotel can do about that. Just a bit of an adventure getting there

Wide assortment of healthy breakfast options. This was included with the room.
Only downside was ongoing daily construction at nearby restaurant (Limonade) was quite loud.

the location is great. beach is very nice. hotel is nicely designed. room was beautiful. bathroom also amazing. reception staff was incredibly helpful
rest of staff (restaurant and bar) need to step up their game. food at the restaurant is not just ok. no bottled water in rooms. mini fridge empty, this level of hotel should have more in-room snacks drinks water etc. no room service.

very close to the ocean and different restaurants.
certain details could be improve, like putting coffee machines in the rooms…just details to make people feel more welcomed. I suggest towels for the upstairs pool should be there.

This hotel exceeded all my expectations. the staff was friendly and genuine. the view is spectacular. The food at the restaurants and the access to activities were all stellar. We originally reserved only 3 nights and extended our stay to 5 because we liked it so much and didn’t want to leave!
