Pleasant apartment - SCAMMER OWNER
I liked that it was quite neighbourhood and that it was easy to find parking space.
When I made reservation the owner charged us for cleaning fee 40 euros. When we left the apartment there were some bottles left on the table, we didn't wash the glasses, the floor was a little bit dirty (But nothing special, it was just a couple of toenails that we forgot about) and we put the bed sheets on one pile on the bed so they don't have to. I would expect the owner to clean that if they are already charging us 40 euros cleaning fee, but no... The owner had nerves to call us bad names because he way lazy to do what he charged us already. And he wanted us to pay for the coffee we used at the house but there was no legal way to do so. He wanted money on the side but that's not how the law works. I'd be happy to pay for the coffee once you issue us an invoice for the coffee. If you can't do that than there is no legal right that allows you to call us bad names because of that. The story doesn't end. 4 days after we left I still didn't have time to answer on their delusional message and I have received the request from the owner to pay him 150 euros for the items that "we broke". 4 DAYS AFTER!!! They said we broke the microwave - it was old one and the only time we used it was to put our phones on it while charging. They said we broke the mirror - I triple checked the entire ampartment upon leaving - everything was GOOD. Isn't it obvious that the owner is trying to SCAM US by doing this? Here's the question for you - If some things were broken why didn't you send the image of the broken things when you saw the apartment? Why did you only send the images of barely dirty apartment? Why did you decide to send invoice for broken stuff without proof 4 DAYS AFTER? The stay was pleasant, we only slept there from 02:00 until 08:00 each day and the rest we had to be in Dortmund. I would recommend to stay but if you don't want to be scammed by the owner - DON'T.

Overall it was a really bad or maybe even the worse experience staying overnight in a holiday flat.
Only the price because it's affordable
The owner seemed not to understand that we wanted to show our IDs in person due to safety reasons. As agreed in the chat with the owner, we came to the place before 6 pm (earlier than what we intended to check-in) to show our IDs in PERSON. The owner wasn't there and told us to send a pic of our IDs nevertheless. We wasted 2 hours of our time because of this. The location is 30 min. from the train station with bad connections. We also felt untrusted, unwelcomed, and annoyed by the owner. She reminded us twice not to have a party, or else she'd call the police (indicating once is enough). On top of that, we had to bring toilet paper. There's only one roll and a few toilet papers (not even a quarter roll) as we came for the five of us. Moreover, there was dust everywhere; on the floor, bed sheets, and bath mat. There were not enough sockets for all of us to charge our phones. It was very weird because according to booking.com, the damage deposit was 20€, but the owner requested 30€.
