There are 2 spacious bedrooms, 1 bathroom with sea view and a second toilet, a cold / warm outdoor shower, an over-complete kitchen, a modern sunny living room with fireplace and 3 spacious terraces with sea views. Each bedroom has its own furnished terrace with sunscreen. On the ground floor there is toilet / guest bathroom with washing machine and on the first floor is the bathroom with Jacuzzi and great sea views from the tub. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, hot air oven with ceramic hob, toaster, coffee maker and a modern fridge / freezer. The view from this house was beyond words. I am still dreaming about it. The terrace was beautiful, the pool was perfect for a dip and my children loved it (it was a bit hard to get into and out of). I would also warn that the railings are minimal, and this terrace would be a danger for young kids or unstable old people. However, the trade off was uncompromised views, and that's what we were there for. The walk to town and the beach was easy - watch out for cars and motorcycles. There is no air conditioning on the ground floor, but the upstairs bedrooms were very well cooled, as was the hallway. Maybe an additional fan would help cool the ground floor if someone is picky about it. We got used to it. The bathroom on the second floor is enormous and also has stunning views, huge shower and jacuzzi tub. Decor was balinese/beachy/ikea and modern. The windows were walls of glass overlooking the sea from all directions. The kitchen is very well equipped and we made some of our favorite dinners in Spain at this home. There are some good butchers in the town. The property manager Jono was absolutely lovely to deal with. If we ever come back to Spain - this would be our only stop!

Perfectly situated, unique architecture, unbeatable sea view, very good beds, good equipement (aircon really necessary!), easy car access and parking, exquiste little pool and terraces. Direct but a bit tricky access to the sea for snorkeling. Pebble beach and small supermarket 5 minutes walk away. We were very lucky to be alone on the property, so we could use the bigger pool. Very nice and helpful staff. Great for cat lovers. Good starting point for visits to Granada, Malaga, Frigliana…. Ronda is a 2h drive. Got there early and combined with fantastic caminito del rey. We saw pilot whales from the terrace!

We spent a month with our 6 months old baby at Cubo del mar and it was just as amazing as the pictures!
Peaceful bay and incredible location with good access to services, beaches and mountains.
Accommodating for a baby (crib, high chair, small bath), but outdoor area may not be safe for toddlers.

Very responsive whenever there were questions and demands.
We really have to think hard to find things that could be improved. There were annoying wild cats looking for food on the terrace.

Read the small print
Location, location, location. Lovely house with a spectacular view. Hearing the waves lap against the store as u sleep or wake up is fantastic. However, the advert states the Cubo has one private pool and shares the large pool. Sounds good, no? When we arrived at the property there is a notice that advises that the large pool is "exclusively" for the Flow guests....unless you negotiate with the other guests. Suggestion: just say it has one pool and avoid the disappointment we felt for future guests. The only other drawback is that the 2 houses are so close together is that there is little privacy. We were there for almost 6 weeks, with 5 different types of neighbours. All in all, we had a good time.

A Gem on the most beautiful coast
There had a terrible storm the day before we arrived. The next day the pool and outside we cleaned up. Very fast and good service. Easy communication with Florian the owner. It was a dream to wake up every morning to the most beautiful view. We will bring our friends next time.

Traumhaus mit Meerespanorama
Cubo del Mar ist ein ganz besonderer Ort zum verweilen. Der Blick aufs Meer ist zu jeder Tages-und Nachtzeit ein Ereignis. Das Haus ist sehr funktional gestaltet, mit schlichter Architektur ist der Raum optimal genutzt, die Zimmer sind hell und geräumig, die sehr gute Ausstattung läßt keine Wünsche offen.

Oase der Ruhe
Wir durften Ende Juni 2018 mit unserer Tochter (17) hier 1 Woche verweilen und haben es seeehr genossen. Tolles Haus mit allem was es braucht. Mit sehr viel Liebe gestaltet. Mehrere Terassen laden zum Verweilen ein und bieten jede Menge Platz für Joga oder einfach nur zum Relaxen, Chillen und die Ausicht genießen. Kleiner Pool zum abkühlen aber nicht zum Schwimmen. Ein größerer Pool am darunter liegenden Haus kann mitbenutzt werden. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. La Herradura und der Strand sind fussläufig zu erreichen, die Bucht bietet einen Steinstrand und jede Menge Wassersportmöglichkeiten. Trotz Hauptsaison nicht stark frequentiert außer am Wochende.

Wunderschönes Haus in traumhafter Lage
Wir haben letztes Jahr zwei Wochen in Cubo del mar verbracht und waren restlos begeistert. In diesem Frühjahr wollten wir nach einer Rundreise durch die Extremadura noch eine Woche am Meer entspannen und wir waren überglücklich, dass Cubo del mar im gewünschten Zeitraum zur Verfügung stand.
Wir haben uns auch in diesem Jahr wieder rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Lage des Hauses, die lichtdurchflutete Architektur und die unmittelbare Nähe zum Meer sind wirklich einzigartig und wunderschön. Alles ist sauber und gepflegt. Die Einrichtung trifft unseren Geschmack und auch die Betten sind sehr bequem. Einfach super sind auch die vielen Terrassen: ob man Sonne oder Schatten sucht, man findet immer das passende Plätzchen.
Sowohl die Vorbereitung durch den Vermieter als auch die Betreuung vor Ort waren sehr freundlich und zuverlässig. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

ein schöneres Haus dirket über dem Meer gebaut haben wir noch nie gebucht. 2 Pools - eine sehr schöne und funktionale Inneneinrichtung. Ausreichend Platz und absolut ruhige Lage. Ein echtes Architektenhaus !

Wir verbrachten zu 4 eine traumhafte Woche in dem Haus. Sehr stylisch, gepflegt und sauber. Hervorragende Betreuung vor der Reise und auch vor Ort. Besonderes Highlight: Der Blick und die Nähe zum Meer und die Dusche mit Panorama-Meerblick! Alles genauso wie im Inserat beschrieben. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt.

Egal on man ein sonniges oder ein schattiges Plätzchen sucht, auf einer der vielen Terrassen rund ums Haus wird man garantiert fündig und kann herrlich entspannen, begleitet vom sanften Rauschen der Wellen.
La Herradura erreicht man in 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Es ist ein nettes quirliges Städtchen mit lebhaften Bars und netten Restaurants. Für Hobbyköche gibt es in der Calle Alhambra hervorragende Einkaufsmöglichkeiten: aromatisches Obst und Gemüse aus der Region, eine gute Bäckerei und frischen Fisch.
Casa Cubo del Mar ist ideal als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in den Bergen und für Ausflüge nach Granada oder Malaga. Mein Wandertipp: die Flusswanderung durch den Rio Chillar, eine Tour die man vor allem an heißen Tagen machen und sich dabei herrlich erfrischen und abkühlen kann.
Wir haben unseren Urlaub sowie die Möglichkeiten die das Haus und die herrliche Umgebung bieten in vollen Zügen genossen und kommen sehr sehr gerne wieder.

Excellent holiday by the sea
We had a wonderful holiday by the sea in Cubo del Mar.Communication with Florian was always easy and the property caretaker, Cees, was very helpful.The villa was exactly as described and the views were stunning, actually we spent much of our time at the villa, watching the world go by in the sea below.The villa suited our needs perfectly (2 adults and 2 teenagers)
We are really enjoyed having access to sea below as well, snorkelling was a new experience for us and we tried scuba diving as well in Marina del Este.
We didn't venture much further than Le Herradura as there were plenty of good restaurants and activities in the locality to keep us entertained.When we go back another time, we will explore the hinterland more!
Weather was great too, maybe a bit too hot at times, but the sea breeze helped us cope.
I would recommend this villa to anyone who enjoys holidays by the sea!

Superschöne Aussicht
Die Villa liegt wunderschön über der Bucht von La Herradura und bietet eine fantastische Aussicht. Sie ist sehr gut ausgestattet, super modern eingerichtet und bietet sehr viel Platz. Die großen Sonnenterrassen mit Pool und Grillplatz machen das Haus zu einem echten Schmuckstück und das direkt am Meer. Wir haben die Zeit an diesem schönen Ort sehr genossen.
