- dobra lokalizacja do zwiedzania wyspy

Very nice and sympathetic owner. The apartment was clean, comfortable and looks better than on the pictures. Beautiful view on the ocean from big terrace.I recommend!
Hard bed, but it is only my subiective feeling

The place is nicely located with a terrace, a fireplace and a nice view. The space is suitable for relaxing after trips around the island. The accommodation matches the description and is nice for a multi-day stay.
The only complaint I have is the shared blanket on the double bed. We're not used to it. It meant a little tug-of-war every night. :-) Two separate blankets would have suited us better. But that is my personal attitude, nothing against the quality of the accommodation.

The accommodation was simply beautiful, the beds were excellent, hard and very comfortable for us, and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking. There was also a small pastelaria Agua na boca next to the house, where you could get some fresh pastry, cakes, coffee, cigarettes or drinks. The view from the terrace was breathtaking, especially at night (we got lucky and got to see a full moon). The host, Otilia, was very helpful and did laundry for us when we needed it. We have also been greeted by fresh bananas in the kitchen, which was a charming touch, as the view from the terrace is of a banana plantation. The suite also had a lot of fresh, clean towels and a blanket, which was quite useful when we went to the beach. There is also a beautiful terrace with a summer kitchen and a grill. It was quite pleasant to sit there in the evening, drinking wine and talking. It is also worth mentioning that usually, it is pretty quiet at night unless the dogs are barking. The local supermarket, Pingo doce, was about 10 minutes walk from the suite. Overall, one of the best places I have been to (including the whole island) and I am more than happy to write this positive review. :)
Obrigada, Otilia.
The only downside of the accommodation for some people could be the location, as when you go to shop somewhere in Camara de Lobos, you have to walk up a pretty steep hill, but for young, active people this should not be a problem. The house is a bit harder to find, but Otilia gave us directions when we arrived, and also the pastelaria mentioned above is a decent guiding point.
(For those struggling, put Rua Padre Pita Ferreira 47 to Google maps or Bolt)
Otherwise, everything was outstanding and well beyond our expectations.

the host was amazing and helped us with everything, the room has an amazing view and the kitchen is great
the location is a bit isolated, but with a car it's not a problem

I was greeted with a madeira cake and several bananas. The accommodation has everything that a single person or couple could want. It's a 1 room apartment with kitchen (fully equipped) and bathroom (also fully equipped) and also a lovely terrace with view to the ocean and a banana plantation. Basically, you have all the privacy you want (this is important to me), no other guest(s) to share all this with. Excellent WiFi (over 100 Mbs/sec when I tested it). I also liked that there was a TV with so many international channels, not just Portuguese. After 5 days I had my sweaty clothes that I put them in a bag washed and dried (as agreed from the first day), no extra charge (also I found more bananas when I returned from my tour that day). Probably best value for money in all of Madeira.
The accommodation is up a steep hill. It's at 10 or 20 minutes walk from a bus station (depending which bus you're willing to take to Funchal). If you don't have a good physical condition, you will have by the end of the holiday. If you have a car, that's not a problem. But its really hard to be picky when everything else was perfect.

Excellent, friendly hosts. Arranged taxi for us for return trip to airport and even waited at 07.30 with us to make sure it arrived!
Lovely courtyard area. Sea view.
It rained!!!!

The apartment was located inland up a hill, in a valley partly surrounded by banana trees.
The sea view in the distance was better than expected.
Meeting the host was simply a text just before arrival to collect the keys. Ready & waiting was a welcome madeira cake, home grown fruit & water.
The location is sufficiently outside funchal to be away from the high rise hotels, & is within walking distance of the aerobus final bus stop (approx 30minutes walk)
Funchal itself was about an hour walk away along the coast.
The weather was always better than forecast, all clouds & showers seemed to hit Funchal but avoid this location just few km away.
Fully equipped kitchen should you choose to use, & the terrace is large enough to entertain 4 people.
The terrace is a little sun trap, SSW direction & very private, not overlooked.
The shower was always hot & gave good pressure.
Host had plenty of guides & maps available for ideas of things to do.
Not a lot & I feel picky just to mention.
The valley location meant sunrise & sunset happened later/earlier than otherwise would be the case, losing over an hour of direct sunlight each side of the day.
Some people might not appreciate the noises thar come with a residential area, school is within earshot.
My only gripe was the final night coincided with the local all night dog barking festival, I felt the epicentre of a cacophony of canines who spurred each other on all night long.
It's worth noting the walk down to /from the shore & fishing village is 5-10 minutes up/down a steep hill, will definitely keep you fit.

Very lovely place in Camara de Lobos, close to the old town and with a beautiful view from the terrace!!
You also have a grill on the terrace, too bad I didn't manage to use it!
During the evening some adorable cats might come visiting you, which is a plus :)
The host, Otilia, and her family are super kind and helpful!
Nothing really

The place has a beautiful view, close to the local bars and restaurants, and to my family, lovely neighbours definitely would go back and recommend.

Great little place, perfect for two people for a stay in Madeira. Loved the outside grill and patio area! Super helpful and quick with responses, even did my laundry which was a life saver! Never had a problem with parking and nice location, close to Funchal but outside the city vibes and crowds.
Very clean and loved the cake and welcome snacks, an excellent touch!
Bathroom had a slightly funky smell but otherwise not bad word to say!

The host was absolutely wonderful, the apartment was spacious and clean (and rigourously kept that way) not only did the host give the warmest of welcomes she was waiting for me outside. The apartment had range of welcome gifts comprising maderian specialities, and something to eat after the journey. Each morning i was greeted with a wonderful breakfast of salmon, fresh fruit amoung other delights and when i tore my walking trousers... as if by magic i found them professinally repaired the next day. No concierge would do more. If youre considering a stop at this place, consider no more youre very lucky to have found the best place on the island. Multilingual Television channels, microwave, hob and sink were also there if required. Shower always good pressure with plenty of hot water
There was absolutely nothing to complain about

Studio is like a small oasis surrounded by banana trees garden. It has a big terrace with the stunning view at the Ocean. Located in a quiet area. Free car parking on the street near the studio. Perfect wi-fi. Good kitchen equipment (everything necessary for cooking). Approx. 30 km from airport and 7km from Funchal. Food shop and a great variety of cafes approx. 500 meters from estudio in the village. And a very, very special attitude from the host, complimentary breakfast, special, national sweet cake and wine on arrival that all together let us feel so cherished and welcomed. Muito obrigado!

Outstanding! Extremely nice and helpful host who every morning served us unexpected breakfast for the price. At the beginning we had a small bottle of Madeira vine, cake "bolo de miel" and a basket of fruit. Great location, no more than ten minutes from the center of the beautiful fisherman village of Camara de Lobos with several fantastic restaurants and taverns. Nice terrace overlooking the banana orchard and the ocean. We felt really at home and we called it that.
Nothing, evehything is perfect.
