Hôtel très bien situé pour rayonner dans le sud de Madère

- Le petit déjeuner copieux et très varié - La vue sur le port de pêcheurs - La piscine extérieure - La localisation

- La petite taille de la salle de bain et le faible nombre de pendants pour les serviettes - Le prix de la nuitée, un peu trop élevé par rapport à la qualité de la prestation

Loved the friendly staff and beautiful bay view!!!

Breakfast was great, did not like to see flies on the fruit 🙈 But great variety of food. Lovely to sit outside in the morning and looking on the boot. Staff really friendly!

We got lots of bites by midges at night time 🙈 They seem to be plentiful in that area. Maybe advise by stuff that this can happen and what to do about it would have been helpful.

Superb

No fault of the hotel management but right outside the building was on-going extensive improvement works to the sea wall and its environs. This included a large digger and a succession of lorries taking away rocks away the bay area. So, as a consequence very noisy and smelly from the vehicle engines. So, we couldnt really use our balcony or the hotel terrace during the day. My understanding that the work has over ran and been going on for months. I'm sure the bay will look fantastic when the works have finished!

Fabulous!

Great, clean facilities including a lovely pool and restaurant. The staff were very helpful and the location is very unique and idyllic.

The parking was an issue, but we eventually found a place with the help from staff. Unfortunately, there was construction outside our room which was quite unpleasant, but this was no fault to the hotel.

Fantastic Hotel want to experience again once Bay Area and town work completed

the hotel is fantastic it is amazing view from rooms and staff could not be faulted they are the most amazing genuinely warm and helpful staff we have ever encountered but also very professional in their work they could not do enough to help and do it with the biggest smiles Rooms were fantastic modern and not a chip on furniture or scuff on wall to be seen, balcony’s fabulous and if could have sat and enjoyed would have been tempted not to move off all day views so amazing but Madeira so beautiful would have to make effort Pool area roomy and relaxing The area and views outstanding beauty Breakfast had everything you could want Easy access to other parts of the Island Would have rated 100% but for the construction around

unfortunately the building work around and on the bay front which hopefully will soon be completed, spoilt what could have been the best Hotel stay we have ever had Beautiful surroundings but sadly we could not enjoy sitting and relaxing as we would have wanted due to the noise and dust on the bay Did not cater for children’s meals in restaurant

Hotel has exceeded my expectations, I was welcomed with a lovely gift for my birthday.

The location is excellent. The hotel staff were very helpful and nice. The food was excellent. The room we chose had an amazing view of the bay. I will surely return.

Cute hotel nice view , nice modern comfortable rooms

Lovely location and view into the cute fishing harbour. Bed was large and had lovely white hotel bedding. nice local authentic breakfast lots of choice

A little piece of heaven

Everything! Location, facilities, breakfast, the pool and location. The staff was very friendly and helpful - Luciano was the best!

The only thing we didn't like was the construction of the sea wall right outside. It makes sense to have progress but it did impact us some running from 10 am to 7 pm so plan accordingly

Rhe breakfast was very good and had many, many options for everyone. No plant-based milk though and the coffee was some kind of Nescafé powder stuff, which I wouldn't expect of a supposedly 4 star hotel. The sauna is a joke, way too small and just next to the restaurant/pool where everyone can see you. The pool area is nice but surrounding houses and people who walk by can see you which makes it a little awkward from time to time. On top of that, there's a construction site right in front of the hotel atm which spoils the view from the rooms. The staff is really friendly and helpful! I'd say the value for money was okayish, a little overpriced to my liking.

Perfect stay and already recommended

Perfect setting overlooking the bay and a very short walk to the centre / nightlife. Room was a very good size with a balcony overlooking the bay and views to the hills. Spotless throughout. Breakfast had a great choice of fruits, cheeses, pastries and hot food and all so tasty. Staff couldn’t be friendlier and so helpful .

i will definitely stay here again. I loved it!

what a spectacular spot! its so nice being close to the sea/ocean to hear the breaking waves from your room. Very very good breakfast and restaurant on site. Noting that the harbor is no longer really a working harbour, the area is becoming very developed, which is a pity to see, but that is also what made this hotels location possible. i will definately stay here again. loved it !

Luxurious waterfront option

The hotel facilities were luxurious. The staff exceptional and the breakfast superb.

We paid almost twice the cost we were quoted by Booking.com. This was because the room we had booked was under renovation. It would have benefited our our budget if we had known this was happening. We likely would have stayed elsewhere if we had been aware.

nice stay

great village , view on the ocean , I slept like a baby with ocean sounds and freshness. all rooms face the ocean, very quiet, breakfast with a view is priceless very good location - near many shops, restaurants, large boardwalk to have jogging and long walks with spectaculars views. also lots of taxis and bus stop to get to Funchal and around

there were many mosquitos and ants on ground floor I would suggest to have more greens and fresh vegetables for breakfast, also they don’t make coffee with alternative milk but it’s an issue on the whole Island. only one dish (boloñese) in kids menu for dinner. but there were plenty other restaurants around to enjoy local cuisine.

Great hotel with a perfect view and fast wifi. The breakfast was very nice and the staff was friendly. I also highly recommend the hotel massage - the best physio I received in a very long time.

perfect. loved the village location with easy access by bus or taxi into Funchal for sightseeing and trips

lovely location. lovely room with sea view and balcony. comfortable beds. all the staff were friendly, engaging and so helpful. breakfast was excellent food taken on a beautiful terrace overlooking the bay. a good swimming pool to cool off and relax and take in the view.

Nice place with seaview in Madeira

Breakfast is very good with fresh products Room and bathroom are top. Staffs are very kind and welcoming Hotel is in the Churchill bay with sea view it is very restful and there are lots of restaurants and bars for diner.

Nothing For the breakfast the orange juice is not self service 😉

The place is very nice, staff is very friendly, we were offered a welcome toast, breakfast was very good with a beautiful bay view.

Streets around are very noisy at night time, the bars around are crowded long after midnight. So, if you wish to have a good sleep, choose apartments facing the bay. The staff was so nice they let us to move there just for sleep after midnight.
