Family celebration for our Mom's 80th birthday. My Sister and I and our Mother stayed for 2 nights. The location is everything! Staff top notch. Pictures don't do it justice. The interior could use a couple minor updates, nothing major and not a deterent. Beautiful views and we were surprised with a full rainbow on our last day. Easy access, check-in process, quick response to any questions. We highly recommend and would do it again and again. Our Mom said "we can't top this one".

Its an older yacht that has been renting for many years but..its in great condition and we enjoyed our stay immensely. The views, the gentle waves rocking you to sleep, and all of the extras Jon and Karen put into their place was amazing! They made sure we knew everything needed about the yacht, the area, and free transportation. :) Would definitely stay again.

Spent a few days over 4th of july. Walkable to good restaurants and close to downtown/Freedom Trail. Able to view fireworks from this boat. VERY RELAXING VACA!

If reading the VRBO ad it indeed notes a kitchenette…. In reality, there is no heating devices of any kind allowed on the boat per owners insurance. This includes a toaster or electric grill. We brought food for dinner but were unable to cook anything as the grill on the dock was out of gas. We did go out nightly for dinner but we were looking forward to a dinner or 2 at home with the grandchildren. The boat and host otherwise was great! Jon was interactive and knowledgeable.

We had a great stay on the boat. Jon showed us everything we needed to know to make the most of our stay both on the boat and in Boston. Beautiful, safe, well-kept marina property. Ferry to Long Wharf just a few piers down. We had a blast. Great way to experience Boston!!

My husband and I booked this yacht as a fun change from a hotel on our last night in Boston. Jon is a wonderful host and took the time to share tips around the area and his wife had made us delicious muffins on top of several other nice touches. Our boys (ages 9 and 11) thought it was the coolest experience ever. The only bummer is we wish we had more time 😊. We hope to be back and highly recommend!

We took our son and his girlfriend to Boston for part of their college spring break. We wanted to stay somewhere unique and had never done a boat before. I was a bit hesitant but it ended up to be so much fun and the kids loved it. The pastries provided and little items in the fridge were a special touch and much appreciated! Great location!

You won’t regret staying on the Green Turtle ll. Jon and Karen made our stay in Boston so memorable. We will definitely reach out when we are back in the area. Thank you again for everything… tips for where to eat, things to do in the city and of course Karen’s homemade pastries.

Jon & Karen go the extra mile to be sure all of their guests are well taken care of, from the inside scoop on restaurants to water bottles, juice, coffee and pastries on the boat!
The location and the water are tranquil to come back to after a day of touring the city.

What an experience for a summer visit to Boston. We stayed on Green Turtle II and our friends stayed on Green Turtle 1 for a weekend getaway to Boston. The location was perfect to see a concert at TD Garden, eat in North End and explore Charlestown. Our hosts Karen and Jon were fantastic in sharing all the best local spots and ensuring our stay was perfect including homemade baked goods. Ditch the hotel and plan your stay at Green Turtle.

So much more fun than a hotel! Proximity to Downtown Boston and the North End in particular. No need for a car and battling traffic. A great experience that our friends are already talking about doing themselves. See you next summer!

What a great place to stay in/near Boston! Wife, kids, and I were rocked gently to sleep in Jon and Karen’s yacht. Jon met us at the parking lot on the pier, walked us to the yacht, and showed us all the ropes. He is extremely gracious, kind, and patient. The boat has great accommodations including queen fore and aft bedrooms, and a pull out in the living room. There’s a kitchenette, back patio, bow, and top captains area. There’s tons of room! We walked a short distance into Charlestown for dinner, which was super convenient. You should consider making meal reservations ahead of time. We walked right past the USS Constitution, a nice outdoor bar, and a playground on our way back.
The surrounding boats and well-lit dock are very peaceful at night, almost as amazing as watching the sunrise while drinking fresh-brewed coffee from the yacht on the water! Hosts also included cereal/muffins for breakfast for us. Shower was hot and with quality shampoo (as opposed to most hotels). Check out was easy. We would for sure come back! Thanks Jon and Karen!

It was clean convenient and Jon was super professional he met us at the gate help with the luggage explained how to get and use local transportation to get to the attractions we want to visit. He formalized us with local restaurants and their locations. The boat gently rolled us to sleep and we really enjoyed seating on deck with our favorite beverage It was an experience we are looking forward to repeating in the near future.

This was the best part of my Boston stay, even though there were torrential rains while we were checking in! Jon met us in the parking lot and assisted with our belongings. He went over everything thoroughly on the boat and gave us pointers on how to get around town. The yacht was impeccably clean and stocked with everything we would need for our stay. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for something a little different and away from the overcrowded streets of Boston.

Wonderful hosts who go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcome and comfortable. Our party of 4 thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay thanks to Jon and Karen. Great location, easy to get to all Boston has to offer, plus great baked goods and essentials from the hosts. Thanks to Jon and Karen for making our family reunion a happy, worry free event. We miss the Green Turtle already!

First, Jon and Karen are superb hosts. They supplied paper products, coffee, tea, milk, juices, yogurt, and water. Spectacular! And…the best muffins and blueberry bread I’ve had in quite a long time!
Second, the location is great. Easy to walk to downtown or the water taxi. In 4 days we walked over 80k steps!!!
Third, you’re on a boat! How unique! Very relaxing to sit on the decks and great rooms to sleep in. So cool!
Thank you Jon and Karen for a great experience and VRBO stay!!

A cozy yacht with a beautiful view in the Charlestown Marina is an experience in itself. Combine that with the amazing kindness and hospitality from Jon and Karen and it's over the top wonderful. They made us feel like family.
Jon and Karen were so welcoming, even before we arrived, Jon provided assistance helping us to navigate the entrance to the Marina and transporting luggage to the boat.
Jon patiently explained every aspect of the yacht in order for us to fully enjoy our stay. This included suggestions for the neighborhood, restaurants, transit via buses and ferry service. Karen's welcome included beverages and amazing baked goods. Both graciously answered any questions in a prompt and courteous manner.
A Wonderful couple and great stay.

Within the first hour of checking in I was already sad about leaving the next day. Jon and Karen are hosts with the mosts: Jon was waiting for us when we arrived at the pier, escorted us to the boat and provided a thorough orientation. The marina itself is secure and not once did I feel unsafe or a need for caution. The boat is clean, cozy, beautifully appointed with anything that might be needed. My only reservation about recommending it so highly is I don’t want it to get overbooked so that I can’t go back!

Captain John and Kathy are real ambassadors for the city of Boston! We stayed for about 5 days while there to compete in the Boston Marathon. John provided so many helpful suggestions to maximize our time visiting the city and utilize easy public transportation options. His suggestion of using the 7-Day T pass was awesome! The listing is accurate, and the accomodations are comfortable especially for our family of 5 & marathon runner. I would return to this exact listing if visiting again!

We had a wonderful stay aboard the yacht! Jon and Karen were wonderful hosts and helped us navigate our way around the boat and the beautiful Charlestown area. We would definitely stay here again when we return to the area.

We had such a lovely time staying here! The communication with the owners was perfect and they made us feel so welcome and comfortable. My 9 year old said that staying here was the best part about our time in Boston. When we make it back to Boston we would love to stay here again! Quite an experience for Arizona desert dwellers.
