The condo is very nice. Small but good size for one or two. Jeff is a great host. Location is really nice. Very clean. Overall great option in Charlestown.

Bigger than we expected which was a nice surprise. Very clean and good location. We will most likely rebook again!

We enjoyed our stay in Charleston. Apartment was just outside the historic part of Boston, but very walkable to the Freedom Trail & several local restaurants.
The unit was clean, cozy & quiet for being on a main street. It was perfect for our stay. Jeff, the owner, was very responsive to the many questions we had prior to check-in, especially regarding parking. As it turned out, we never had a problem finding parking on the street.
The owner resides at his rental. Thus, his personal items were there (clothing, toiletries, etc.), but they were put away. There were several empty dresser drawers we could use, but not really anywhere to hang clothes. This wasn’t a big problem for us, as we just kept our items in our suitcase.
Lastly, the only recommendation I have would be to provide wash clothes & hand towels, in addition to the bath towels. And, somehow, provide a mirror in the bathroom that is low enough for a shorter person to use.
We had a great time & would rent this unit again. Thank you, Jeff.

My brother and I had a fantastic stay here. We parked the car right outside across the street. Didn’t move it for 3 days. We walked and caught the Uber to downtown and Newbury street. The place itself is cozy and welcoming. Everything you need is there… didn’t need to purchase any house essentials. Check in and check out were super easy. Jeff contacted us as we arrived and as we were leaving…. Making sure everything was ok. Just great communication!
Will def stay here again.
Thanks Jeff. 😊

Great place. Loved the location in Charlestown and near Bunker Hill. We took nice walks to the North End with our dog. One suggestion: some drawer space to unpack would be nice. I don’t like feeling like I'm living out of my suitcase, even if we're there for only a weekend.
But overall, a great place.

The apartment was lovely and close to my daughter’s house in Charlestown on Mystic Street Only drawback was the tiny bathroom which lacked a moveable space to move easily Otherwise all was great

We came to town for my graduation and wanted to stay somewhere with character but also close enough to the city to easily do things. Jeff’s apartment was the perfect base for our stay in Boston. The place was immaculate and we loved the historical decor including an antique sampler, maps of Boston and an antique letter. The bed was comfortable and for being in a large city, there was very little noise. Seemed we could be most anywhere in Boston in 15 to 20 minutes. Really hope to stay here again on our next visit!

The property was exactly as the photos depicted and Jeff was very helpful with suggestions for shopping and food. We were in town for the Boston Marathon and had time for sight seeing. The location was perfect to walk to the local historical attractions, and was a nice walk down into Back Bay and the North End! I would definitely recommend this location for a great stay!

Nicely updated Charlestown 1 bedroom near the Monument, restaurants and coffee shops. We walked to everything. Bathroom was a little small and mattress a little lumpy but overall a very nice place to stay for a few nights in Charlestown.

This Charlestown condo was a great place to stay to feel part of a neighborhood and have a true Boston experience. The condo, in an 1876 building, was immaculately clean and as appears in the VRBO pictures though with updated living room furniture. Other reviewers commented on the small bathroom with the high up mirror and that was a little inconvenient (difficult to see yourself flossing or blow drying your hair) but nothing’s perfect! On our first morning there the shower lost hot water and pressure. The owner immediately scheduled a plumber who arrived that afternoon, though a repair could not be made until the day after next. We dealt with it.
The owner was full of restaurant suggestions and eating dinner in Charlestown, as opposed to Boston proper, made us feel part of a neighborhood. We ate at Brewer’s Fork twice (the second time the hostess said “Welcome back”), the Warren Tavern, and Waverly Place, our least favorite. The condo is a 15 minute walk to the Community College subway stop on the orange line, which wasn’t bad in the excellent weather we had, though returning home there is one steep uphill block to contend with.
We bought breakfast items at the nearby Whole Foods (near the subway station) to eat in the condo, but didn’t use the kitchen otherwise. One thing my husband and I would liked to have seen is better reading light. We like to read in bed before retiring and I didn’t notice, reviewing the condo pictures, that there were no nightstands/lamps by the bed (no space), so that’s on me, but the one lamp in the living room provided scant light for reading (the light in the ceiling fan seemed inoperative).
One last thing, we selected this condo because, among other reasons, the description amenities said a visitor parking spot was available, on streets otherwise requiring a resident parking sticker, and several reviewers said they were able to park right in front of the building. However, as the street in front was being paved on the exact week we were there, we took our chances parking on a side street and luckily received only two parking tickets. The owner generously split the cost with us, for which we were very grateful. But if the visitor spot (and I did not see anything identified as such—perhaps because of the paving signage) is unavailable, be ready to get a $60 ticket everyday and a $90 ticket on street cleaning day if you do not move the car.

Perfect location. Had absolutely everything I needed and the host is great! I will stay here each time I come to Boston!

The unit was clean; the area of the property is beautiful, with quick access to bus; no quick T line access however. As to the unit itself, it is just enough space for two people. No extra amenities however, as in no bath soap or coffee provided. I had to make a quick trip to grab those things. No breakfast bars or anything. The bathroom door did not close properly; it would swing closed, but had gap in doorway and did not lock. No closet space because the owner uses the closet for his things. But the bed was super comfy; sheets smelled nice and clean. And the area is very safe and pristine.

We stayed for 3 days and the only driving we did was to go to Cape Cod one day. We were 3 blocks from the Bunker Hill Monument which starts the Freedom Trail. We walked the Trail, walked to the Duck Boat tour site, walked to restaurants. This apartment had everything we needed.

We had a wonderful stay at Jeff’s property in Charlestown. The apartment is sophisticated yet cozy. It’s in a nice residential location with plenty of dining options within walking distance, but it’s also easy to get around Boston from there. Jeff is a great host. All in all a fantastic place to stay and we highly recommend it.

We stayed at Jeff’s apartment June 8-12. It was great!! He left the lights on as our flight was delayed and we didn’t get in till midnight. We found everything to our liking. Clean and comfortable. The apartment is in a wonderful location and we walked almost every where in this historic city. When too far from an event we got UBERs which the longest wait was about 10 minutes!! Jeff is a perfect host and gave us advice on highlights in the city. He responded to questions quickly and precisely. You will not be disappointed with this property. It was terrific!!

Cute apartment and convenient for ride shares. Found parking right out front so that was great! Apartment had all the necessary items and host provided bottled water in fridge. Very nice touch! The bed was super comfy which is often difficult to find! Host was super responsive and helpful. Would recommend.

We felt lucky to find this lovely property two blocks from the home of family members in Charlestown. Attractively decorated, well maintained, and nicely appointed, the apartment is small but fine for a weekend visit. The owner was a pleasure to deal with.

My husband and I came to Boston for our niece's college graduation. Having never been to Boston, we factored in some time to play tourist. This condo was just the right size for the two of us and is cleverly designed to maximize use of the available space. It served as a good home base for exploring Boston, mostly on foot. The owner, Jeff, responded to my questions quickly and was very helpful. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Jeff’s place is one of the best short-term rentals I’ve ever stayed at, and I’ve stayed at a lot of them. The neighborhood is charming. The block is quiet, tree-lined and beautiful. The apartment, which is on the ground floor and overlooks a historic cemetery, is deceptively spacious. The kitchen is large and well apportioned with new appliances. The furniture is comfortable and functional. The place was spotlessly clean. Everything that’s supposed to work worked. Jeff was a very responsive pleasure to deal with.

Jeff's Charlestown condo was exactly as promised. The location was perfect for us to visit our adult sons and daughter in law that live nearby. The condo has everything you might need to be comfortable. As we only wanted to eat take out or heat up food I prepared at home because of the pandemic, Jeff's place had everything we needed to enjoy our meals. We recommend Jeff's condo for anyone looking to spend time in Boston. Thank you Jeff.
