We really enjoyed our stay! Lots to see within walking distance and some great spots to eat nearby. Houseboat was clean and we loved being able to sit on the decks with morning coffee and plan our day ahead. Highly recommend!

Great location. Take the ferry or walk into Boston over the bridge. Nice area ,near the end of the Freedom Trail. We loved our stay.

Had a great time staying on this houseboat! It is very close to downtown; easily accessible by water taxi, car or even walking! Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed the views and the boat. Of had everything we needed and the waves rocked us to sleep. We were able to walk to most places, though we did Uber some. We would stay again.

The property was tired. Too many kickbacks taking up space. Checkin and checkout to long.

We had a great time staying on the houseboat while we explored Boston. Easy walk over to the USS Constitution for nightly cannon firings!

If you love being gently rocked to sleep then this is the place for you! The Pink Pearl was just the ticket to help us relax and unwind. The area felt completely safe and the dock was quiet. Check in was easy and thorough and we lacked for nothing during our stay. Would absolutely stay again and highly recommend!

It was so lovely to wake up to the harbour view everyday. Cafes, restaurants and convenience store within easy walking distance. An excellent playground nearby that was a hit with our kids every day.

We had a wonderful stay! Deb, the host was very gracious and helpful. Our greeter, Sherry was there to meet us and, also was very helpful and informative. The location cannot be beat as we were able to walk to the aquarium and the north end for great dining options. The house was quiet and beds were comfortable! It was nice being gently rocked to sleep! All in all, a short stay for us due to flight cancellations, but a very nice and enjoyable stay!

A group of us get together annually in a different city/state each year. We chose Boston this year and felt we couldn’t pass up an opportunity to stay on a house boat.
A couple things that are worthy of note. US Coast Guard is close by with helicopters that fly over repeatedly. First night, we had no idea what was going on. Saw it in daylight the next morning.
Heat didn’t work for us unfortunately but we found an electric space heater in the houseboat and tried that. Plugged it into a non working plug at first but then found an outlet that worked.
Door itself didn’t really lock. Left us hoping that our stuff would be there when we got back, but also, the dock was gated and required key to access, so that eased the feeling overall.
Great location and place. Small issues overall but good to know about.

Great experience, we'll be back for sure...

This was our first visit to Boston, and we wanted to try something different. The houseboat was great. We walked like 40 miles in the 4-5 days we were there. The house boat was located in a very quiet area and the water was so peaceful. We were traveling with three kids; 8-12. We'd highly recommend!

What a gem! This little houseboat was such a fun place for my family to stay. It was cozy and the location in the marina couldn't be beat. Plenty of room for three people and two dogs (thanks for being pet-friendly!), and there was no trouble with access or noise. Clean and well-provisioned; we had everything we needed. Checking in and out was a little complicated but we managed fine, with the help of the greeter and the owner. I would recommend that, if you're planning to eat in, you bring groceries with you in a car, as the 7/11 nearby is not sufficient and there are no other options within walking distance. Come prepared and you will have a blast!

We had a long weekend to spend with our adult kids in Boston and wanted to be able to walk the majority of the time. This fit the bill perfectly! The property manager was very nice and cheerful and answered any questions we had very promptly. The houseboat had everything we needed- and was a fun place to stay!! We always love trying something new! The walk through the docks especially at night was just relaxing and lovely. Don’t forget to give yourself time to sit up on the deck!

The Fun House boat was great. It was much roomier than I expected and very comfortable.
The place was well stocked with everything you need. We will be staying there again.

We had a wonderful time! We have never stayed in a houseboat before. The hosts were so nice to let us leave our luggage on the boat before check in so that we could start our vacation! The location was good though we aren’t big long walkers so took an Uber daily which was fine. I think it was less expensive then renting a car and paying for parking though the Marina parking has plenty of room which was nice for those who needed it. There are convenient stores not to far as we ate breakfast and snacks on the boat so we made two trips there. My only constructive feedback is it does need a thorough cleaning and some updating. The kitchen had old spices/condiments that should be thrown out. I’m sure from guests left behind. The fan needs cleaning and the bedroom has a ripped dust ruffle that looks very unsightly when entering the room. The sheets don’t stay on the bed during sleep and seem very old. The rocking of the boat was so soothing especially at bed time! Now I know why babies like to be rocked! Our stay was so much fun. I highly recommend the Pink Pearl! What a nice way to spend our vacation! Having a washer and dryer was great! We went home with clean clothes!

This place was great for me and my two friends. Great areas to walk to, and pretty quick walk to train station to get across the city.

Wonderful two night stay with our family. My two boys really enjoyed staying up in the loft and the parents enjoyed them having their own space, haha! They particularly enjoyed the boat's rocking to get to sleep. It was a cozy, cabin feel with a wonderful location and easy access to public transportation. Easy and informative check in process with the property manager, Sherry. Rave reviews from everyone on board.

We had a great 2 night stay on the houseboat! Very convenient location - once we arrived we did not have to drive again until we left. We took the water shuttle into Boston, which was very close and convenient. My kids enjoyed the space to spread out - my 11 year old slept upstairs and my 14 year old enjoyed the pull out bed. My husband and I enjoyed nightly drinks on the roof deck. Check in and out were very easy. Would recommend!

We loved the boat and how easy it was to get to the ferry! We saw the sights, did the aquarium and went whale watching on our trip easily taking the water ferry everyday. Never took our car out of the marina parking. There is a really cool beer garden called 'the anchor' right next to the ferry. We stopped there daily to have an ice cream and enjoy the city views. Highly recommend the house boat!

We stayed in this cozy houseboat for 4 nights and it was perfect! My teen and tween boys bunked in the loft while my husband and I had the bedroom. The gentle waves rocked us to sleep each night. The efficient kitchen had all we needed to have breakfast before exploring Boston and the surrounding area. It’s conveniently located around the pier from the start of the Freedom Trail. We walked the whole trail over two days and it was fantastic. We also took the Charlestown navy yard ferry to Long wharf to connect to the subway. It was an easy way to get to Fenway for a baseball game.
We were expecting tight quarters and planned on short showers. But the boat is bright during the day and seemed larger than it is. We conserved water and all still took a shower every day. There were plenty of towels, pillows, and blankets. The fridge was big enough for breakfast food and lots of leftovers.
The marina felt very safe. We didn’t interact much with other folks at the marina because we were on the go, but every person we encountered was friendly…even the 4-legged variety.
Staying in the house boat in the Boston Harbor was a great way to explore and find great restaurants, unique shops, and walk in the footsteps of our founding fathers!
Sherry was very nice and helped us get acquainted with the boat. She made us feel right at home.
We would definitely stay here again!

It was just what we were looking for as far as a small adventure that the kids would never forget. We were fine with the small movement of the boat and it wasn't an issue. Had a great time touring Boston from this location.

This amazing little houseboat was such a fun, spring break getaway for my family and me. The unit was clean and exactly as advertised. The owner was friendly and easy to communicate with. There’s nothing like watching the sunrise from the roof deck! Excellent location and short walk to local historical sites!

We were only here for a few days but had a great time. We had never stayed on a houseboat before and what a relaxing experience. The owner greeted is and showed us everything. It had everything we needed for our stay and our dog enjoyed sunning herself with all of the natural light coming in. It was so nice that at times it was hard to leave and venture out. Be ready to be rocked to sleep at night. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay at the pink pearl was great! The experience of staying on a houseboat was one I had wanted to experience for a long time. We slept so well, with the ocean smell and the rocking of the boat.

We have three children, two of which are living in Boston and the youngest just finished high school. We decided to bring a vacation to them. We looked at houses, but they weren’t the right fit. The house boat was awesome. Sleeps six, small kitchen…perfect. Four night stay. Great time in an excellent location.

We have been to Boston several times, and this was one of our favorite visits and stays. We absolutely loved the neighborhood and the "boating vibe" we got to experience in the marina. Our group was two couples who have many years of experience traveling together, which helped with the tight quarters of a houseboat. We loved walking the docks at night and looking at the city lights. The big bonus was getting to know another neighborhood (Charlestown) in Boston. You must visit Brewer's Fork and the McCarthy Bros. liquor store, both within walking distance of Pier 8.
