TRANQUILIDAD Y CONEXIÓN CON LA NATURALEZA

Un lugar muy agradable, tranquilo y propicio para conectarse con la naturaleza. Me gustó mucho la piscina, la vista que se tiene desde la misma, muy rica la comida del hostal y su personal muy atento y siempre presto a colaborar con cualquier inquietud o necesidad.

En términos generales todo muy bien, sin ningún inconveniente.

Leuk, gezellig, relaxed, mooi

Lekker relaxed, kamer lekker ruim, lekker zwembadje, goed eten al zijn we nu wel aan de dunne🫣leuk riviertje beneden maar je wordt er opgegeten door de muggen. Dus tip: gelijk in sprayen!!!!

Koude douche klein straaltje, geen haakjes voor handdoeken of iets waar je kleren kan ophangen. Kamers wel gehorig, de tafeltennistafel stond er pal voor.

Mooi zwembad, alleen de hutjes bovenaan de berg zijn comfortabel. De rest overslaan.

Het zwembad is prachtig gelegen. Je hebt twee luxere accommodaties, de rest is het net niet….

Het (receptie) personeel. Totaal niet gastvrij en het voelde alsof wij inbraken op hun persoonlijke feestje. Met uitzondering van de kok en de dames in de ochtend, zij deden echt hun best voor hun gasten.

O hostel é bem aconchegante, os funcionários são solícitos, a comida é maravilhosa e o preço super justo.

A limpeza dos banheiros deixou a desejar, o banheiro ficava sujo na maior parte do dia.

If your in minca you need to stay here it’s amazing

This is our favourite place we have stayed in Colombia so far. Location is right near the town our views from our balcony were gorgeous. The staff were so lovely made you feel right at home. Cocktails were 👌🏻and the food is absolutely delicious you can really tell the chef cares about what he is plating up

Nothing we loved only thing would be to make sure the water is filled up at night as we were really thirsty at about 12am and there was none left

Très bon séjour à Minca

Super hôtel dans un cadre idyllique ! La piscine et les hamacs sont super pour se rafraîchir et se poser en fin de journée. Super petit déjeuner. La chambre était spacieuse.

La clim fuyait et inondait la chambre donc impossible de l'utiliser, il faisait donc très très chaud. Quasiment pas de wifi du séjour contrairement à ce qui est indiqué

Amazing views of the mountains

We stayed 2 nights in Costeño River Minca, in one of the mountain view rooms. The rooms are very nice, with an amazing view on the rain forest. Same goes for the swimming pool. The food is also very nice at a very decent price.

Estancia maravillosa, nos llevamos Costeño River en el corazón!❤️🌴

Nos encantó. Es idílico, a la vez con ambiente chill que invita a descansar y a disfrutar de la naturaleza. A nosotros nos gustó que nuestra cabaña estaba parcialmente abierta lo que hace que se escuche el sonido del rio y de la naturaleza. La ducha también está abierta parcialmente, a la vez que dando privacidad, eso fue una experiencia super!!🌴 Está muy cerca andando del pueblito y se llega andando en menos de una hora por un bonito paseo a las cataratas de Marinka. La comida que ofrecen es muy rica y económica, sobre todo para las cenas es agradable no tener que ir andando al pueblo y disfrutar del espacio exterior del hostel. Los cocktails muy ricos y hechos con cariño por el personal😊 happy hour!! El personal muy muy agradable, por la noche organizan actividades como salsa o karaoke (y el personal demuestra sus dotes artísticas😉). Las vistas de la piscina son espectaculares. Hay mucho espacio exterior a la sombra como hamacas y sillas donde relajarse.

Todo estaba muy muy bien, quizá lo único que la piscina se limpie de bichitos un poquito más a menudo sería perfecto!!

Amazing view near to town center

- Amazing jungle/swimming pool/ mountain view. We strongly advice these 2 Mountain View rooms. The best of the hotel. - 10min walking from the town center. - Quiet - Open air bathrooms ❤️ - Chilling at the swimming pool - Nice advice from the staff about things to do around.

- When we arrived, a festival-like music was super loud, 1 meter away from the tables where we ate. Not nice. We were not there for parties but to chill. And the hostel-like vibes freaked us out at first. But after it was not like this, and very quiet. - Breakfast was ok but the rest of the food was average and slow to serve. Better to go in town, many good food there.

Mooi verblijf en vriendelijk personeel!

Prachtige locatie en heerlijk zwembad! Vriendelijk personeel.

De eerste nacht sliepen we in de tent. Deze was erg krap en je rolde naar elkaar toe. Er was ook amper plek voor je spullen. Maar je betaalt ook niet veel :) We hadden de dag erna een geweldige kamer boven het zwembad! Die is echt aan te raden!

This place is a paradise. Swimming pool with amazing view is the highlight

This place is a paradise, it will literally leaves you speechless once you step into the property. We stayed in a private room with private bathroom which was absolutely gorgeous. The staff is very friendly and the cocktails prepared by the bar tender Javier tasted really good!

Leuk verblijf voor jongere!

Super leuke accommodatie! Leuke sfeer en alles is goed verzorgd. Er worden elke avond activiteiten georganiseerd wat het super leuk maakt, wij hadden karaoke en salsa! Ze regelen heel makkelijk motortaxi’s voor activiteiten. Personeel is echt super super vriendelijk! Ontbijt was heel lekker.

Onze kamer lag vlak naar de receptie en keuken en hierdoor erg veel geluid. Iemand die niet kan slapen door geluidsoverlast zou ik dit zeker niet aanraden. Wij hebben met oordopjes “redelijk” geslapen. Helaas gaan warm water in de douche, heel vervelend! De accommodatie ligt wel nog een stukje van het centrum, je loopt er dus niet zomaar naar een restaurantje.

Loved it.

Great location. Great staff. Food in the restaurant was good value for money and substantial portions. Carlos's Karaoke was definitely a highlight.

- AMAZING food - Good cocktails - Very comfortable beds, working airconditioning. In the dorm, your whole backpack fits in your locker - Nice pool with pretty view - Very friendly personell

- Wifi signal was not very good - Cold showers (but I think that’s everywhere in Minca)

Not good

The small pool

- we spent the whole booking with a smelling and no-working toilet. The room was smelling so bad every day and they never fixed it. - Too many insects in the other room (the one with the mosquito net) - too expensive hostal for the money we paid - I have not received the invoice of our booking with the breakdown of our consumption….

Treat the guess the same way you would like to be treated.

Restaurant staff and food during night time (except Javier from the morning shift). Loved the cheeseburger with double meat and the shrimp ceviche. Jose, Milagros, the bartender and Javier were excellent.

Our room barthroom's light was out and did not change it. Check out too early and really pushing us out (maybe they had guess coming), but every hotel i've been to, we check out right afternoon and not been rush. We found it pricy for what we got. Really hard to get to the place, not signage when we were heading there and is one of the last ones.

Amazing location, facilities and staff

Amazing place really nice maintained. The location is right next to the river. The pool is nice with view . The staff are really helpful, friendly and they organized many activities at night to meet people and gatherings. Also the restaurant in the hostel is really good and good prices! Enjoy!

You have to walk to go to the hostel is NOT accessible through car so you need to leave the car in the center pay parking and take your bags walk 10min to the hostel. Also there was maintenance all day for fixing something so the workers were making noises and were everywhere. Also get a repellent many mosquitoes cause you are in the jungle.

Best place to relax and meet nice people

The place is magical. The location is perfect. Like a 10-15 min hike from the center and next to the river. The vibe in the hostel is amazing and social. Every morning there was a free stretching class and also every evening they try to organise something. Because the hostel is so nice everyone was talking with each other and having a nice time. They also have the best free breakfast. The staff is super friendly and smiley and perfect swimming pool. Would definitely recommend this place!

Don’t book the tents, way too small for two people

the overall property is nice, the staff are nice and in a good location. Shared toilets are clean

The tents are tiny, there is no walking space especially as a traveller with multiple backpacks. Make sure your booking on of the proper rooms. The pool also had loads I mean loads of bugs. we have stayed at many other hostels in Minca but this pool was the least clean by far. This was also our least favourite stay by far however that was because we booked the tents.

Can't fault it

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. Shared dorm - air con during the night, spacious single beds with light and socket. Stunning views from the pool, well thought out hammocks and cargo nets both overlooking and by the river. Perfect location for exploring Minca. Decent food and great drinks offers. Really great value for money!

Great poshtel in Minca - close to everything!

Costeno River is a great little 'poshtel' - we had one of the double rooms overlooking the hillside and the pool and it was perfect. Relaxing atmosphere, seriously excellent cocktails and we loved the short walk into town over the bamboo river bridge (which won't appear on Google Maps!). Really enjoyed the pool and also the various seating areas and hammocks.

Very good

The room and the pool areas was very nice and the view is beautiful. Food and drinks were affordable.

There was some lack of detail, for example the net in the balcony was partly broken and the door did not function properly. I think the price is a little bit high. There was some issues with a final bill, they tried to charge us for some drinks that we never ordered.

Short but not very sweet stay

The pool was nice, breakfast was good, location okay with 10 minute walk to town (nice shortcut across the river).

Dorm room for first night had lots of mosquitoes and no nets on the beds. We moved to a private shack for the second night which had a mosquito net but the mattress was small, dipped terribly in the middle and wasn’t comfortable at all. (we paid for the ‘upgrade’ but didn’t feel like one as we hardly slept). Also whilst we were there my girlfriend cut her leg quite badly close to the pool on protruding metal bars just sticking out of the ground next to the pool area with benches and tables. When we asked for a first aid kit they said initially they didn’t have one but eventually we’re able to provide some iodine to clean the cut. The staff member on duty wasn’t the most helpful and didn’t even check up after to see if she was alright. Also we asked what are they going to do about the metal bars but nothing had changed by the time we left 2 days later. Overall pretty poor from the hostel and staff on duty. Wouldn’t stay again based on our experience.

Best room with view and hot shower

We had a room with a view of the Sierra Nevada and it was the best! Shower with HOT water, comfy bed, lots of pillows, strong AC, breakfast with a view on the balcony. Staff was very nice and helpful. Pool is great. Direct access to the river. Some karaoke or salsa lessons in the evening. Free water Good vibes. 15 min walk from the center of Minca. Highly recommend the room with the view.
