The white curtains had a blood or chocolate stain on them, and the doors were stained too, the shower head leaked so badly, the water squirted out at the wrong end, the bathroom tiles were not clean, the base of the faucet was grungy, the bathroom cabinets & wardrobe were dusty inside, the sliding doors of shower were moldy around edges, and the shared kitchen was a messy storage room cluttered w/ stuff.
The only nice thing was the blow dryer!
Way too overpriced for what it offers!!

The location was good and the price was pretty good.
The photos on the website did not represent the room we got. (Ours was SUPER small.) When booking, we didn't realize there was no reception or staff which was a bummer. Overall, we were pretty disappointed.

Just the price and the staff member.
Go and have a look. Because the photos which are published don't do any justice.

The location of the accommodation is quiet and perfect. Communication with the staff is of great help and concise. All the sights of East Berlin are within close proximity to the accommodation, within a radius of two kilometers. The city transport stations are just a few minutes away from the accommodation. There is also a river nearby. The two large railway stations, offering direct transportation to the Berlin Brandenburg Airport, are just a fifteen-minute walk away. The spirit of Berlin is truly palpable!!!

Only location was good, everything else is just a huge disappointment. The room was dirty with human hair everywhere, they never revert regarding the celaning and the possibility to leave the baggage upon checkout (saying no would be fine, instead od ignoring the questions after numerous inquiries).
The staff is rather impolite and not willing to reply on basic yes-no questions. The room was really dirty (human hair on pillows and literally everywhere). They were not willing to send cleaning service even when I shared photos (upon check in) confirming all the dirtiness! Upon receiving instructions for check-in the owner disappears and redirects you to the ‘manager’ who cannot do a lot or anything without the owner’s approval. Nonsense! It’s literally a source of infection and I am shocked how they are allowed to rent something like this!

Booked a small single room. Small bed, closet, bed stand, foldable wall table, OK toilet, spacious shower! If you need a private place for a couple of days in the city center, I recommend it.
You can see the effects of time on the walls & floors. Decent, though, if you're not too picky about these things.

location was amazing, and range of facilities was good. host was very clear about checking in process.
could have been cleaned better, underneath bed was filthy, and the mattress was very thin so could feel a broken slat in the bed.

As I was on pleasure trip, I was expecting lively place where I can spend my 4 nights.
Staying in Berlin City Apartments was a worse experience in my life, first night I couldn't sleep even, feeling as I am Staying in honted place.

It had a bed and a bathroom. That was enough for one night.
It was difficult to reach the staff and the room was extremely small with broken doors, no curtains, broken floor

the wifi and tv did not work really good.

Very central location, but set in a very secluded, private courtyard. Safe place to store my bicycle. Shared kitchen within easy access.
Poor communication on arrival. Rang bell, no response. Rang twice, no response. Got in only because people were coming out the front door. Got into the room at around 2.30 and was just about to get cleaned. Not much room to move in the room. No city view as listed. Folded away ‘desk’ with little space to use.

Amazing position in the city center, clean structure
all the doors were always open ... except the one of the personal room: so security does not exist. I have never seen the owner. Very very very small room ... very poor quality / price ratio

It was not clean.

We weren't able to check in as the host was inflexible as we wanted to check in at 3:30pm rather than 2:30PM. After 20 phone calls were able to get through and got an angry response, which we lodged with booking.com. The check-in was until 11:30pm but the host refused to come. So we had to book alternative accommodation and lost £160.

Weak wi-fi, mess in timing for check-in

Nice old building! The room was small yet cozy. It usually was quiet, but the neighbour sometimes was not :)
The place was fairly clean, yet the floor was quite dusty. I cleaned some things in the kitchen to be comfortable when using it (neighbour again?). I could not locate the wi-fi that was specified on a note, so I had to use wi-fi in a cafe.
