Beautiful well kept place with an awesome host

It was perfect. Home made breakfast served on a beautiful patio looking out into the fairy garden with some mimosas and hot coffee. A hidden treasure in Calistoga/ Napa Valley area. Room was spacious and tastefully decorated. Very accommodating hosts. Will definately return and tell friends and family about.

Exceptional

The property was wonderful. The room was super clean and the bed was super comfortable. We absolutely loved it there. The breakfast.... OMG so delicious. Chrystal and her parents Greg and Lynn do an amazing job.

Exceptional B&B, especially the Palisades cottage!

Breakfast was included and brought to our door every morning... it was huge (by Napa Valley standards) and delicious! The Palisades cottage was spacious, well equipped, with a private sitting area. The bed was roomy (Cal-King) and so comfortable! The hummingbirds may greet you as they did us.

We had a fabulous, relaxing stay.

Arrived at Foothill House and welcomed by Gregg with a glass of wine and recommendations for the area. We stayed in the Castello room which was huge and spotlessly clean! It also has its own designated parking space and private patio area. Everything had been thought of by Gregg and Lynn with fresh flowers, sparkling wine in the fridge along with snacks, tea and coffee etc. Another nice touch is coming back ‘home’ each day to find chocolates and nibbles in our room but each day was always something different. On the last day we found two slices of delicious lemon cake! As other guests have mentioned, the breakfasts are fabulous. Different each day with something savoury, sweet, hot and cold, juice and your choice of hot drink. The thought and effort put into the breakfasts by Lynn is second to none and delivered to your room at a prearranged time. Re the region, we loved it for the four days we were here. Calistoga is quaint with many places to eat and drink and watch the world go by. On Saturday mornings there is a Farmers Market where we purchased some strawberries and then ate them at Old Faithful whilst watching the geyser erupt. We booked a winery tasting which Lynn insisted on driving us to which was so thoughtful, we had planned to walk there but we enjoyed a casual walk back in the sunshine. Going into town we rang the Calistoga shuttle service that picked us up at the end of the driveway and also brought us back to the same spot, all for $1 a ride - perfect! On another night we ate at Calistoga Inn and then had beers and bingo at the Lincoln Avenue Brewery. Unfortunately we missed the shuttle ride back and so Gregg was very kind enough to come and collect us. Nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend this fabulous B&B.

The breakfast was outstanding! beautifully presented, perfect portions and absolutely delicious.

I didn’t like that we had to leave. Truly, this is a place that you could really settle into.

Need more drawer space in the palisade so you can unpack

Relaxing and we will be back 😉

Everything we could have thought about having in our room was provided. For example, popcorn 🍿, wine opener, bath salt, pillows galore (and they were clean), champagne with appropriate stemware, cozy preset breakfast in our room, incredible breakfast… delivered to our room and different each day. Water cold in the refrigerator, with space for the goodies I brought with us.

Hum…. Can’t think of anything 🤷‍♀️

Everything is so wonderful!

The breakfast and evening appetizer are fantastic. We felt so much love in the food that is prepared. Everything in this place is fantastic. We stayed for 3 days but we wish we could have stayed even longer!

AMAZING!!!!!

My husband and I loved everything about this property. conveniently located with easy access to wineries and Main Street restaurants. The facility was super clean, quaint, relaxing, romantic all wrapped up into one. Every morning we started our day with an insanely delicious breakfast freshly prepared by Lynn and her family. The food is beyond delicious! Lynn, Gregg and their daughter have a big heart and desire to make their guests feel welcomed. Everything about Potter’s Foothill House was fantastic and we cannot wait to return.

A perfect place to stay

Foothill house with Lynn and Gregg was way beyond what my group and I could have expected. The pictures are accurate but until you get in the space, you can't imagine how special it really is. We had 3 couples and we each had our our room, but always seem to meet on the back lawn under the trees for drinks and conversation. We even used that space to do yoga one morning! The breakfast was better than any that we could have had in a restaurant. We had it delivered to our rooms the first day but afterwards, Lynn and Gregg accommodated us by setting up the table in the common room. I really could go on and on about the rooms as well. It was the PERFECT place to stay and we will return!!!!!

We loved everything. There are no negatives!!

Calistoga Gem with Style!

The property was magnificent. The attention to detail by our hosts Lynn and Gregg was bar-none. Our group enjoyed the beautiful grounds, the lovely and exceptionally clean rooms, the attention to detail and the wonderful breakfasts. Our hosts left nothing to want for. It was a sheer delight experiencing Napa while staying in this incredible Bed and Breakfast in Calistoga.

The hosts were great. Excellent attention to detail, room cleaned daily, beautiful property. and fantastic breakfast delivered to the room daily. Location was close to downtown Calistoga.

Shower wasn't the best, but room was great otherwise.

One of the best B&B we ever stayed and highly recommended.

The daily breakfast was superb in variety and taste. it was always on time, served with love and great presentation. The ambience of the whole place is pure tranquility, country style design of the room and patio is recipe for great relaxing vacation. Owners Lynn & Greg and their entire stuff is very sweet and welcoming.

Can't beat it

Friendly service and great food. We really enjoyed the extras like being greeted with a glass of wine, champagne waiting for us in the room, and the happy hour hors d'oeuvres delivered to our room Saturday evening. All of these were completely unexpected. Their dogs were really cute too.

It was hard to see the driveway even when we knew where it was. We drove past several times.
